- If you're gonna do deep dish in Chicago, ya gotta do it right. JB Alberto's has been serving up some of the area's best deep dish for almost 50 years and Brittney Payton is getting in on the action.

Lived in Rogers Park back in the 80s. I loved their thin crust pizza with Italian sausage.
I've been living in RP for 3 years and just discovered JB's last week! I loved it!

+Liam Wyatt Every time the pizza gets cut or slice is picked up the toppings are just about to slide right off. They need to sauce, half the cheese, toppings and then rest of the cheese. Cheese looks a bit week also. It may not be the best of Wisconsin Grande Mozz. Poor guy who ordered the deep dish cheese, had to use his entire palm to keep the cheese from sliding right off.
JB's is my favorite too. There really is something about it! This or deep dish.
What happened ? Now they get orders wrong and delivery is waaaayyyy to long.
I grew up in Rogers Park. Absolutely love that pizza and it still taste the same just like my childhood. I got my boyfriend want to drive up north for that pizza.
I used to live in Edgewater (just south of Roger's Park) and used to eat the stuffed pizzas here all the time.

Me and my mom order from them practically every month I always get thin crust with my favorite toppings bacon and onion on it and it's so good and I get it every time we order from there. And I would like to recommend the cheesy garlic bread. Also try to order on a Wednesday night when they have the full slap of rips as special it's the best in Rogers Park.

I use to live in Rogers Park up till when I was 14! it's now been 13 years since I've been back in this area. I remember going to JB Alberto's every week or so to get pizza with my dad! So nostalgic to me! I really want to come back and, try this pizza again now that i'm older. Miss you North Side!

Also I totally forgot about their famous Chicken Wings it's what they are known for besides their pizzas and good food it's definitely their Chicken Wings. They are hot but not over bearing hot just enough in my opinion because I typically don't like hot stuff they're just too much for my tastes but the Chicken Wings here are my favorite and if we're able to we'd get them with our order. By the way keep those tickets that come with your pizza when you collect 20 of them you'll be able to use them to get yourself a free pizza with one topping of your choice and any extra toppings you have to pay for it yourself but it's a 14 inch pizza so it's highly worth it.

Guy at the end loves the cheese, as it comes right off the pizza when you grab it... that's some 'meh' pizza right there.
