@@johnmackey3164 Go get a retinal exam, I developed heavy black floaters without flashes and a couple of months later blurry vision in one eye. A few days later I got a retinal exam and there was a horseshoe tear in the blurry eye. Emergency surgery was booked and by that time the retina had detached and a black curtain descended over my vision. Lens removal, sucking out all the vitreous to laser weld the retina back in place followed by artificial lens installation and gaseous filling of the eye was necessary to remedy the situation. The other eye had a thinning retinal lattice, but no tearing so it was simply laser welded to strengthen it up at a clinic. Catch it early and the laser clinic can take care of it instead of surgery at the hospital

Hi, I had a PVD two years ago and although the Weiss ring floater disappeared after about 12 months, my vision is still a little bit blurred but manageable in particular when looking into the distance. There was cloudy fluid in my eyeball when they did the OCT scan. Is it likely the blurriness can go away like the floater did, or is the blurriness there to stay? Thanks for your help!

They can definitely go away. Stop eating sugars, carbs.

I had cataract surgery and got floaters AND flashes of light in the periphery of the left eye afterwards...what can I do about this? Eye doc looked at it once and said she wants me back in a few weeks. So far, no tears...

Me too. After going back to the eye dr, the dr said time was on my side. But the floaters are still there six months after cataract surgery. No flashes just multiple floaters.

Yes it can. When I started dealing with severe anxiety my eyes would hurt and now I see floaters everywhere. I've learned to live with them though.

I have a question I’ve experienced lot of floaters after using contacts improperly I threw them away and saw a eye doctor but she said no infection no retinal issue said eye was a little pink from over where so what caused the floaters?
