This was so relaxing and fun to watch! And I learned so much! I’m a newbie and have all my supplies and books on the way, and have been researching my heart out trying to learn. Your books are super cute and you’re so talented. I’ll be ordering some asap! Subscribed ❤
I'm a digital artist trying to learn how to color with alcohol markers, and when you said you started with high lights that was so backwards to me it made me laugh, its fun to see how different art processes can be
Same! With alcohol markers I've found that it's better to go from lightest to darkest because the lighter colors do not show on top of darker colors. It's taken me some practice to get used to it but it's fun to learn a new way to color :)
The very end of the tip may pick up a bit of the color but I usually have a spare sheet of paper to scribble on to remove the color and it goes away rather quickly in a few strokes :)
When I draw from my imagination, it is difficult for me to go back to drawing from a reference, and when I draw from a reference, it is difficult for me to draw from my imagination 😓 But currently I am trying to combine the two things to create something special 😌
I still am not okay comprehending the shadow part? How did you know your light source was the moon and what side to highlight? Your book and color are gorgeous!
Amazing I hope to do this like you one day I am a beginner with alcohol markers. I've been coloring since 2018. I just discovered alcohol markers love them. Thank you for sharing your amazing work. I subscribed!!! Can you take a video of color pallets you like???

When using the yellow to go over the dark purple does it bleed onto the marker? If so does it stay or go away pretty quickly?
