Great video thanks for doing these! I didn’t have the tool to compress the new thermostat so instead I used a large enough socket to sit on top of it. It worked perfectly and allowed me to not only compress it but also twist it into place.
I’ve had Discovery’s for 24yrs your tinkering will become an epic learning curve and just as you think you’ve become an expert you’ll upgrade to a newer model and alas you’ll start again. Us brits know how to keep you greasy and stressy Enjoy 😂
Might have to do this, or coolant hoses, that one hose ,by the one you stretched, with the T connection and metal cap on the 3rd tip of the T broke.. I remember barely touching that cap and it blew up and squirted coolant everywhere lol.
P0117 code sucks for a land rover lr4. We have a 2011 that stuck with this code. New temp sensors and thormestat and scan car to reset and it'll run. Turn off and try again and just cranks. No leaks or overheating so wtf is with these cars 😂
Hi , I’ve question about my LR3 V8 HSE 2009 , the problem is the oil mixing with coolant water in radiator , it’s happen more than 3 times in the last three years , I change the oil cooler and radiator then it happen again ! Have you ever seen this problem ! And what exactly have you do to fix it ? Thanks
@@ksasbr107 You'll have to bring it to your local mechanic to diagnose further. They'll know what to look for whether it's a bad head gasket or some other issue with your engine block causing oil to leak into your coolant.

If it is engine oil in the coolant, it could be a bad headgasket or an internal flaw in the engine block itself.
Atlantic British what is an internal flaw in the engine block ? How could I deal with it ! Do I need to take the engine out ?
