I had a lot of fun trying to tell a story without using dialogue, in a very run-and-gun situation with some friends, my wife, and her dog.
Hope you guys will like it!
Shot on RED Komodo 6k while using the 35 mm Mitakon Zhong Yi Optics Lens T1.0 RF lens.
Loved that lens especially fully open at T1.0 during the night shots.
Colored with Da Vinci Resolve and @Dehancer
Color grading was finalized using my LUT for accurate colors (LINK) : • How to fix desaturated...
I filmed this piece earlier this year when I got approached by a famous Italian singer/songwriter: Saverio Grandi, who wanted a music video for one of his songs which spoke about being able to let someone go even when you love them and this is the story I came up with. This an extended revised version of that music video I shot.

whatever compared so many camera's this one is like the old saturated films . of 90s .. so beautiful. there is diffusion on the image maybe in post. , can u make video on color grading this.
You're correct sir. I did use film grain + halation to get that look. and Added glow as well to fake a pro mist filter.

I’ve watched this a few times now and have to congratulate you mate. I thought this was shot on a Atlas Orion or something. I didn’t notice there were no flares, and to find it’s a cheap lens, you’ve made this look a million dollars. Looks like I’m buying myself a late Xmas pressie :)

It actually covers super 35mm! It has a very small vignetting on the Komodo , barely noticeable

Lol believe it or not in the USA you can buy a mustang like that for 8/9 k $ … which is about 7k euro. So it’s not that expensive as people might think, there so many used mustangs. However this is my cars wife , and I had to work with I have 😅

ahah si beh posso capire. Questa e' la macchina di mia moglie, non l'ho noleggiata abbiamo usato le macchine che abbiamo. Ma ti svelo un dettaglio, una mustang del genere la puoi comprare per 9-10 mila dollari usata...ovvero circa 7 mila euro, zero super bollo o tasse del genere, e' una macchina molto normale per gli USA.

My personal opinion...
Best color as usual from the master, though a bit too contrasty but that's a matter of taste.
The story, usually I find your stories a bit gimicky and don't match the level of filming and grading.
Maybe since the color is so good that makes it stand out even more.
This particular story doesn't make sense to me in a few points:
1. The girl looks so rich with that hair and nice car but she works at a coffee place?
2. She found a cute dog, got attached to it and after what feels like a day in the story she gives him back and is reminded of all the good times in a sort of a memory montage like she had him for years.
Just my opinion...
I do get excited for every video you put out though so, keep it up, love ya man!
Hey man, thank you for your feedback. Well first off keep in mind that in the US a mustang like that costs probably like 10k $ second hand, which is an average price. The mustang is an average car in America or at least in LA, not sure where you’re from. However I see your point, but that is my wife’s car .. and my wife is the actress and dog is her dog, it’s a little play we put together with what we had at our disposal, if I wanted another car I would have had to rent one and so on… I agree that with an older car it would have been more relatable the whole character. But even if she was Rich (and we are not rich at all) she could have bee heartbroken anyway lol I assume rich people have feelings too. As far as the colors, thank you I’m glad you like the color work.

Hey there. Yes. I used only the sigma 18-35 1.8 for 2 shots only inside the diner. But everything else is the same lens
