During late august of 2021 i went on a journey that would change my life forever. It was my first ever solo trip as well as my first overnight wild camping experience. I spent 2 weeks hiking through the Alps of Switzerland, going up and down every day, swimming in freezing waters and setting up my tent in the most surreal locations i could ever imagine, in total covering more than 100 miles. Safe to say that this trip meant a lot to me and i can't wait to hit the trail again.
When it came to editing this video it was no easy task especially when you have 7 hours of footage, the first 2 weeks i spent just thinking which clip to put first in the timeline, i knew what kind of a video i wanted and i did a lot of planning but despite that it still felt like a black piece of paper, now almost 1 and a half months later i'm finally happy with it and i'm super stoked to show it to your here on youtube, any feedback wether positive or negative will be greatly appreciated and if you could share this video amongst your friends and followers it would mean the world to me.

but people are quiet when they need to speak up when there is a wrong situation going on, people are weak when the situation demand you to be strong in the name of equality and justice, people are boring and unimaginative when expose to new possibilities. People want to be alone because they cannot take the pressure of being responsible to someone other than themselves. People take the wrong path just to prove a point rooted in faulty ideologic.

@@dutchmilkbut what if most of the situations in the person's life don't need for them to be not alone, to be strong, to be not boring, to be extroverted etc, but they're still expected/forced to just because of social norms and stereotypes? It isn't always escapism. So one could respond by saying: if there isn't a need and still you're forced to do this, then you've made a mess of your own life and given away your freedom. - So that is why we claim what is ours back and get going alone. Getting rid of the mess. Get creative in our own ways, as our own situations demand. Not the creativity that's pre-determined to be in a box by others.
I don’t know how many have noticed that almost all clips are hard cuts and no special effects. Also, almost all are recorded on a tripod. No gimbal. The narration and the scenes felt interwoven. Amazing work on all aspects. 👌🏻

For me it was a bit boring. nice clips and naration, but clips are so slow for me, and i really like effect and hyperlapse.

Hi, guys!! So Sorry for not replying to any comments for the last month. Our channel got hacked and we got it back only today. I had goosebumps watching this. Literally felt that I was there. I didn't know that I needed this. No extra effects, just pure nature and its stillnes. I also want to salute the message behind your video. It wasn’t just a skills showcase (like so many vidéo out there on UA-cam) but it feels like you took the Swiss alps to convey your message and not try to force a message to “explain” the swiss alps. this is beautiful. i can relate to the words even tho i love big city life in a foreign cosmopolitan city that never sleeps i crave nature as a child who used to climb trees and sit in them to eat fruit and go up into the mountains of my wonderful jamaica. some of these shots i took similar ones just going to school on my phone. maybe not as sharp or cinematic but i have never wanted to bust out my sony a7iii harder to harness it's power. there is a gift in creatives that is our birth right. the way we impact life and the human condition is marvellous. i have been so lost. but i've been home in myself this whole time. just listening to much too the world and not enough to myself. never stop making films. we need them

Gorgeous video! Story, landscapes, sharp, beautiful atmosphere. Only superlatives. What lenses did you use? GM-lenses? So sharp, almost 3D... The colourgrading is also fantastic. How do you render to UA-cam to be able to preserve that quality? I have a BMCCP 6K Pro and today I regret my choice: to heavy for travel or on a gimbal. Never could get such crispy imaginary. Before 'cinematic' meant a little bit soft image but today we have new aesthetics . We don't compare with 35mm film anymore...

I know I’m late to the party here, and I never comment, but i feel obligated to do so. This video took the words right out my brain and articulated them in such a beautiful way. I’ve said these very words many times, it’s almost like I was meant to see this.
Aside from the philosophy that I 100% resonate with, the cinematography is out of this world. I’ve never seen a better video than this. The bar has been set incredibly high. I am just now getting into video production (literally brand new at it - just something I’ve always wanted to do), and this is inspiring to say the least. I was meant to just look around for some reviews on Sony a7SIII. Instead, I came across with your cinematic real-life review. It's safe to say that THIS kinda life is exactly what I've been dreaming of. For now it's the 11-8 job, and someday, I'll live a pretty isolated slow-life from the hustle and bustle of the urbanites and sub-urbanites.
