It was glorious while it lasted, the heavy melta perk that gives ammo back plus that bug let you just wade through enemies. Game breaking and definitely need to be fixed but my god was it fun.
Other weapons like the heavy plasma incinerator also overhealed, if you had contested health and shot into a pack of gaunts or something it would heal you to full hp
i am also very sad the Vengence Launcer didnt make a return. if im thinking of the right weapon, it was a gun that the devs of space marine 1 invented on their own and had not existed in the lore previously up to that point. i honestly find it a bit odd that the series that brought that gun into existence would completely forget about it in the second entry.
Apparently the company that owns the Warhammer universe was very picky about the lore in this game and what was allowed and what wasn't, so maybe that's why

Chaos is difficult but way more manageable now after the last patch. Man on launch there would just be thousands of chaos guys spawning at a time while the small ads would basically be invincible with their dinner plate shields while then our shields would be taken down with one hit.

Lets not forget that the majority of those enemies spawning in were ranged shooters - they made the Chaos hordes all around smaller than Tyranids since nids have actual melee majoris enemies that spawn in. Pre-patch - Chaos hordes were just as big as tyranid hordes.
Zanny bro just grind Inferno on Ruthless for armory data. The spawns are easy to remember too. Many videos out on where spawns are for the first mission. Relic spawns seem to be very generous. Every time I’ve ran it with people there’s always 2 or 3 relics at most. Everyone gets topped off. And sometimes a Carnifex or Zoanthrope boss will spawn for that additional armory data.
Eh this is more of a mp game so its better to try and have fun with it while its still alive and populated. A single player game, you can just jump back in whenever

Practice aiming for the shield guys heads, Brother Zanny. While running there guards have this small opening just keep shooting for there heads and they will die in one shot with a bolter round. Unfortunately plasma weapons can’t head shot anything. But don’t expect not to get your ass handed to you on difficulty 3 and 4.
ive done every mission on every difficulty except for 4 and 5, Operation 5 is the only one I have ran only once and never gone back to do again. It is so horrible and the fact devs thought people would want to farm that op is mind boggling
bro i had to fight a hell brute while pushing the payload for this mission while my teamates who are playing heavy and sniper just chilling at the button area watching me struggle
All the chaos ones are rough, because the Rubricae all have at least as much health as Tyranid warriors, they can and frequently teleport halfway across the room despite the frequency at which they teleport reportedly being nerfed, they will instantly move to surround you the moment the shooting starts, and their primary means of engaging you is with high-damage, very accurate ranged attacks. So you end up with like, 10 Rubricae in the same room, with at the absolute least, half of them having a clean shot on you, and constantly dumping shots into you, while you frantically try to close the distance to kill them in melee and restore your armor, because you cannot quickly deal with them from range unless you’re a sniper carrying a Las-Fusil. And then, as soon as you reach one of them, they’ll just teleport outta there and leave you standing there, dick in one hand, chainsword in the other, wondering where your life-saving execution went, nanoseconds before getting fucking flavor-blasted back to Terra. Tzaangors are in a better spot now, cultists are fun because the damage they can put out forces you to deal with them, but they can be dealt with very quickly if you’re a good shot. The Terminator with the storm bolter is super fun to fight, and the one with the Assault Cannon and Cyclone Missile Launcher is annoying but manageable. It’s the combination of Bolter Rubricae and Flamer Rubricae that is absolutely obnoxious.
Plasma pistol charged shots deal with them pretty easily since it causes stun damage. Relic level plasma pistol takes 3 charged shots to make Majoris enemies executable
@@thinpepe5771 yeah, but 3 charged shots per each Majoris enemy is still a huge chunk of your ammunition gone, plus only 2 classes have access to the plasma pistol, and there’s no guarantee you’ll have both on your team.
@@venerablebrothergoriate5844 the upgrades help out the ammo situation, mine has 144 shots and each charged shot only takes 8 charge instead of 10. You just gotta make each shot count especially on ruthless
Hi zanny, don't know if you know but the tactical can equip the bolter rifle, which has a grenade launcher variant when levelled up. Combined with the Tactical perk that restores ammunition when you kill a Majoris (30 sec cooldown), you can pretty much 2-3 shot groups of majoris consistently. It's cheese of the highest order, but I personally whip it out whenever the game starts to throw bullshit at you.
Fall of Atreus was the last one I needed to beat on ruthless. I feel like I only beat it because we got lucky and rolled the boss in the chapel instead of at the end section.
the worst part of this game is that a shit ton of us are having a bug right now that erases all progress every time you play the game. Twice now ive played with friends then re opened the game the next day and my character was reset
Need to make sure it doesn't say "offline mode" when you've chosen a mission. Not sure why it does this but sometimes it says that for me and I have to reset it so it saves.

Theres a glitch rn where the buttons cant be interacted with on that stage, me and acouple of guys ended up fighting to a heroic last stand for like 30 mins till we got overwhelmed

The 1000 sons are chaos space marines that have been corrupted by the warp, it causes them to mutate and basically become one with their Armour. When you kill them they erupt into warp dust.
Every member of the Thousand Sons that isn't a Sorcerer is not a person at all - but a construct, an empty suit of armor full of dust and animated by magic. They are called Rubric Marines, because the catastrophic spell that vaporized their bodies and bound their souls to their armor was called the Rubric of Ahriman. When you 'kill' a Rubric you are not seeing blood - just raw witchfire pouring out of the armor. For Rubrics have no blood and no sense of self beyond what their Sorcerers command them to do.
Not all chaos marines have rainbow blood, only the thousand sons since they no longer have a physical body, just dust controlling the armor, only sorcerers and major marines have their body still

It's funny how much easier the game is now with all the nerfs a freind and I were beating ruthless alot even before and I get why sometimes things were just super annoying now if I die it's usally due to something complety out of my control like getting combo hit from enemies but I did agree with the sheild tzangors being op lol
yeah chaos missions on higher difficulty are in fact pain

I find the Tyranids more fun, Chaos is boring to me.
After testing all the difficulties, I definitely find the Tyranids to be harder but there also much funner to fight.
Chaos in this one are just annoying.
@@snimon5824 no chaos was cool pre patch, now is a little boring for the nerf, they need to increase enemy density
5 is a good level. 4 is my least favorite.
