So how often do you have your 100 lb. tank filled? I have a 30x40 pole barn lightly insulated. Thinking about getting 1. Using a wood stove currently, but not enough to keep it nice when below freezing. Great informative heater videos by the way. Thank you!

Mine last me for I would guess about 18 ish hours if I keep it on 70 degrees, but that’s also a garage. For a shop that size you definitely want a 120k btu or bigger heater. A 100 pound tank is most likely gonna last about 5 to8 hours at 75 degrees in a building that size. Thank you so much for watching! I really appreciate the comments and compliments! I try to give the best most accurate information that I can. I also have a review on a 200k btu Reznor heater as well. If you want to subscribe please feel free too! I’m trying to hit the big 1000 lol

I just bought the 125k btu one to put in my metal uninsulated garge hoping to take the chill off. I have free gas so i can run it non stop. I may have to end up adding a second heater bjt we will see

That’s awesome man, I’m looking at buying one of those for my car port. Let me know how you like it. I have a 36x16 car port that I’m concreting and insulating that I wanna put heat in for winter. I was looking at the 80k or 125k btu heater

@T-MillProductions well I got it installed, and this thing throws the heat and it's pretty quiet. My shop is 40x50x14 and it's not insulated. If your carport is insulated this heater would do awesome for you. I may spray insulate it.

That’s good to know, I definitely am gonna go with that one then. I gota finish pouring the concrete yet but after that I’m gonna invest in another heater.

Question: Looking at putting one of these in an insulated 24'x8' henhouse to keep it above freezing. How high do you set the temp to burn 20 lb of propane in 6 hours? Also is the fan loud? Thanks and this is a very helpful video.

So my garage is 21x21x8, insulated and a 20 pound tank last me about 8 hours at 70 degrees depending how cold it is outside, a few years ago it was 0 degrees out and I turned it on 60 degrees and it lasted about 8 hours

I got mine from northern tool, but everyone sells them. Type in Mr. Heater big Maxx and all sorts will come up. I have a 100 pound propane tank outside I hook it up too. All you need to do is turn on the gas, turn the thermostat to what ever you want and it automatically ignites and heats. What size is your shop ? My garage is a 21x21 foot with 8 foot ceiling and this is just enough to heat it so if yours is bigger you are gonna want the 80,000 or 120,000 btu heater instead

      As far as what?

It would totally depend on your layout and attic access as to what works best for your vent
