Kickfarted needs to be at least a monthly thing. I love these.
Brayden Turner you should check the series this one is ripped off of
Which series is that?
Mythbusters hahahaha
Kickstarter Crap
"Kickstarter crap" - "iDubbz"
Tinfoil hat? Psha! Real nerds need tinfoil suits! Complete with air filters and a full fledged x99 sli rig in the side, for that built in heater action!
Zachary Robertson YOU WON EVERYTHING
Plus tinfoil fedora
It's not heater action until you put a GTX 480
its more effective using crossfire as a heating element
i have an old pentium that literally make my room hot if used more than 20 minutes
you should have checked if a normal beanie does anything
They don't. Wifi, radio, and cell signals are used because they pass through all but very dense or conductive material.
Not beanie, it's a toque.
@@amirabudubai2279 They do. They keep your head warm. Which is technically retarding radiation.
exceptional reply
I love how some people have no idea how radiation works.
Nor computers.
Nor tinfoil
Or kickstarter.
Or RF radiation.
Unlisted Squad!!! RIP Vessel :(
DanielRichards644 congrats on first
what happend to vessel?
its got shut down. someone bought it and shut it down
+Sharjeel A. Verizon bought it and then shut it down almost two days later
Vessel got bought out and shut down FeelsBadMan
160 dislikes? That's a lot more employees than I expected Shield to have.
It's because of all the little kids who think just because one guy that THEY follow made a video on the same subject before, that nobody else can do the same. Completely ignoring the fact that not everyone is subbed to that other guy.
Maybe Shield called in their agents?
:D
It's all non-ionising radiation. From what I understand, no matter how many milliwatts are blasted it has absolutely no effect on us or any life form for that matter.
Well, at high enough (think kilowatts per square meter, not milliwatts) intensities, you will cook. Which is harmful. But yeah, even up to single digit watts, thousands of times higher than what's emitted by standard routers, there's no effect.
Ultranerd Prime Hmm you're right microwaves are non-ionising but above 500 watts (which is 500,000 milliwatts!), you start to get into mini kitchen microwave appliance territory. But yeah waaaay more power than what's output by lte, wi-fi, radio, etc...
I would like to present the other side of the equation so that it can at least be represented by someone who knows quite a bit about it (me).
Microwave radiation in particular (cell phones, wifi, baby monitors, smart meters, blue-tooth, etc) disrupts Melatonin production in the brain as well as other important biochemical processes.
Here's just one study done on rats using only 2 hours a day of exposure.
www.researchgate.net/publication/51847180_Pathophysiology_of_Microwave_Radiation_Effect_on_Rat_Brain
If we stop and take a look at the world today compared to 20 years ago, there is an INSANE amount of RF in our everyday environment. These frequencies are not natural and the human body is not accustomed to them. The signals are very chaotic in nature and they disrupt processes in the body.
Today, a hefty percentage of people are having regular sleep problems. It's difficult to illustrate everything that I would like to say in a simple youtube comment, but I hope that this will at least spark the interest of some people reading through the comments about this subject.
I feel that all-too-often, studies into EMF are the subject of heavy ridicule and scoffing. And if people weren't having actual real world problems that have increased so much in the last 20 years, I might be inclined to agree.
I'm not saying that EMF is the cause of everything. But I do think EMF plays a substantial role in several of our modern day problems and that it's something we can choose to take responsibility for just like anything else.
Interesting study, thanks. Extremely interesting that RF affects melatonin production....
Just because the radiation is non ionizing does't mean it's not harmful. That being said we would likely only see real damage at high power levels, comparable to what you'd find in your microwave.
+Philo Jewett
Interesting study, but the problems with sleep cycles today may not be solely because of the increased number of devices with short or long range transmitters. If we can't control for all the possible variables then we can't know for sure. There's a place in West Virginia known as the "Radio Quiet Zone" because of an ultra sensitive radio telescope, however, the close you get to the telescope, the limitations are much more strict, some to the point where you are forced to forgo computers, cell phones, and even microwaves. But once again, this case cannot be applied everywhere because there are so many variables.
Stop accusing LTT of stealing content from iDubbbz. There is a clear difference. LTT TESTS the products, when iDubbbz just talks about them at their kickstarter stage.
Justin Jacobs calm my boi (kinda agree tho)
Dord Polo Can't be calm when there's blind fanboys like this defending these plebs who tried to steal Ians content. I just happened to come across this video and it's disgusting. Just another reason to not like the feminine fruit Linus and his buttbuddy.
Resorting to insults is the lowest form an argument can take.
Or... the internet is a large place with millions of people who occasionally have (very) similar ideas? How about a company who actually ordered each of these kickstarter fails and now have enough on their hands for an entire series?
I know you may be limited in your ability to fully engage with people using constructive language in a topic-focused discussion, but I gave it a try anyways.
Justin Jacobs is what happens when children become fans of people like iDubbbz.
EMF fields are not harmful
Zeke m some people get headaches
totally jvr gaming people get headaches all the time. It's more likely the lighting they live around and sleep patterns ;)
Oh aight cool
totally jvr gaming
Nocebo.
Gawdamit Have you?
If it reflects signals, and those signals are coming from your phone, into your face hole, going through your head, then bouncing off the hat, through your head again, then out your face hole.... doesnt that double your exposure?
yes
It gets even worse when the back of the hat reflects the signal slightly more upwards so it bounces again on the forehead area, then bounces again on the back of the hat and then out your face.
Kyle Bryer he covered that
he cited an article that says that...
face hole?
The pandering "kickfarted" title doesn't do this video justice considering how interesting and well put together it is.
+heinz ketchup is triggered
+Shobhit Varma RIDICULOUS, what? What's so triggering about kickfarted?
HAL It's just silly and childish. They're pandering to the younger demographic. Like I appreciate jokes, etc, but something about the title is just irritating.
+Rambi “Rambi9000” I agree, but everyone is saying 'ridiculous', it sounds more like he has a nazi flag in the video or something.
HAL I guess.
I bought one of these and can highly recommend them; it enabled me to figure out the voices are INSIDE my head.
Somebody has watched to much idubbbz
edups*
UA-cam Nederland lmao didn't iDubbbz do this exact product too? I guess the big difference is this is more "why it's crap on the tech side"
『MEME NAME HERE』 yup he did
UA-cam Nederland what do you mean
UA-cam Nederland *Ned*erland... ay? ay?
0:45 "BUBBLEWARAP" ???
bubblewarap sir.
ILZT there's nothing bad to say about bubblewrap.
It's a suffocation hazard for small children.
Teagan P nothing. Bad. To. Say. About. It. !.
+Teagan P You just listed a benefit, care to try again?
Thus needs to be done more often and with past products aswell
Thus is true
To all you people whining about Linus "ripping off" iDubbbz, he's not. The fact that iDubbbz has a Kickstarter series as well doesn't mean anything. For all we know Linus might've never even heard of the whole guy.
There are no truly original ideas on UA-cam and I doubt there ever will be. Even if someone came up with an idea they had never heard of and that was original to them, chances are someone already came up with a similar idea before that and did it already. In fact, I'm willing to bet iDubbbz wasn't the first one to make videos of Kickstarter fails either.
Fley someone cant take a joke
ace8656 There are jokes on the topic and then there are those who are clearly serious. The comment is aimed at the latter.
*cough* retsupurae *cough*
He did the exact same product
i really love rp, but i think edups was actually before them
I'd like to see Linus and Idubbbz fight
SlenderSmurf (λ)³ Linus is also Canadian.
Hey easy wit the canuck shit
Lol
But Linus has his patented fetus position blocking move!
Linus would destroy idubbz... Linus makes a shit ton of more money and has way more friends. He doesn't need to fight, he could just sink idubbz in legal papers.
How did I do this without notifications?
Kopsu too late bro. once you push notification, you can't go back
Kopsu I did it without them too. How? Luck I guess
how is that luck all u gonna see in the comment section is notification squad and harambe memes
oh we need notifications to come early, all the ones I come early is luck I guess : \
on a completely different topic, he could be anywhere from 20 to 40 years old i can't tell
He's 30 so right in the middle
RF radiation IS harmless unless it cooks you.
The reason for this is actually simpler than you might think. * Puts on tweed jacket and professor spectacles *
First, here's a 1 paragraph refresher on electrons: some of you should know that electrons are negatively charged particles that "orbit" around the nucleus of an atoms (which are made of neutrons and positively charged protons). The electrons can be in different orbits, some farther away from the nucleus and some closer. It takes energy to push an electron to a higher orbital, and you get energy back when an electron falls to a lower orbital. *What kind of energy, you ask? Photons of light!* Electrons jump to a higher orbital when they absorb a photon, and release a photon when they fall to a lower orbital.
*Now that that's out of the way:* Einstein may be famous for his discovery of special and general relativity, but he won the Nobel Prize for his work on the "photoelectric effect". Basically, if you shine light of high enough energy (higher frequency = higher energy) onto a target, that target will develop a positive charge. What's happening is electrons aren't just being pushed to a higher orbital, they're being popped completely off of the atom. This leaves an imbalance between the protons and the remaining electrons... charge!
Normally, this doesn't matter much, because charge tends to neutralize itself rather quickly. The free electron will loop around and return to where it was after a short time, or else others will take it's place, and the charge will neutralize via current flow... but that's beside the point. Lets ask another question: what would happen if we did this to a molecule of DNA?
Well, ionizing an atom in a DNA molecule can create what's called a radical: a highly reactive particle that wants to bond with something RIGHT NOW. This can easily break the bonds one atom has and make it form other bonds. That, in turn, can corrupt the information stored in the DNA molecule.
» Such data corruption is usually repaired by the cell, but sometimes it isn't...
» Usually, the corrupt DNA will cause the cell to die or fail to reproduce, but sometimes it doesn't...
» Usually, when a cell with corrupt DNA reproduces, the mutation is benign, and has no effect beyond making those cells less useful, but sometimes it isn't...
» Usually, harmful cells are taken out by the immune system, but sometimes they aren't...
When a cell has DNA that has been corrupted by incident radiation, AND it reproduces, AND its children are viable, AND they're harmful, AND the immune system doesn't react to it... then depending on the type of mutation caused by the DNA corruption it might become a cancer. Maybe. Sometimes.
That's why people are afraid of radiation, but why *shouldn't* you be afraid of electromagnetic radiation in the RF area of the spectrum.
Well, electromagnetic radiation starts ionizing DNA when it's frequency gets up to the UV region of the spectrum (just past light). Below that, all it can do is knock an electron into a higher orbital. That means lower frequencies of light can only cause molecules to heat up a bit.
RF stands for Radio Frequency, and is much MUCH lower energy than even visible light. It isn't ionizing. You really shouldn't be afraid of it.
If you want to know more, look up the "ionizing radiation" or "the photoelectric effect".
Mantaray
All antennas are pre-tuned. There's a whole field of electrical engineering dedicated to the science of antennas.
It makes no difference. Electromagnetic waves are just electromagnetic waves. You can have more of them or less, and they can be higher or lower frequency... but that's about it.
In order for something as low frequency as wifi to hurt you, it would have to burn you. In order for it to burn you, it would have to be several orders of magnitude more powerful than it is.
A wifi router puts out a total power of like... half a watt? More importantly, it puts that power out in all directions, so the amount that actually hits you is much MUCH smaller, even when you're standing next to it. The signal that gets to you also drops off with the SQUARE of the distance (because it's spreading out).
So if you have a wifi router in your house, and you're a couple rooms away, something like a microwatt is traveling in your direction. Of that, you won't absorb much, since you're mostly transparent to it. So you're getting something like a nanowatt of power from the router... spread over your whole body.
Even if the radiation were ionizing, I'm not sure I'd care. Since it isn't even ionizing, the idea that it might have some measurable effect on human physiology is laughable.
Physics graduate here: I initially started reading this comment to get a laugh out of someone talking about things they don't understand (as is incredibly common in youtube comments) but this was well written, aside from slight mixups between orbits, orbitals, and energy levels :) Strong suspicion that I'm talking to an engineer here.
so is that mean it's completely safe to stand in front of operating radar, communication dish, especially transmitting ones, high tension powergrid, relay station?
katt2002 dont think you'll ever get a scientist to say its completely safe to do anything, but the answer above does hold. Radars and communication dishes both deal with RF fields so they wont be ionizing anything in our bodies. Crank up the power enough, and you might feel a bit warm. That'll be at high currents/voltages though so at that point your problem isnt the radiation but electrocution. Thats enough reason to keep some distance from active power stations too.
non-ionizing, yes, btw I was told by my instructor to stay away from high powered transmitter/radar dish for health reason, probably one of those "might cause xxx" kind of advice.
When I'm back from school tomorrow, this comment better be at an even amount of likes
Zero is an even number.
mychannelbro nice one m8
PixelVortex nine
PixelVortex DO NOT LIKE IT, LEAVE IT BE (at 69 likes)... please
Konrad Czajkowski its at 183 hopefully it stays
Last I was this early, Dennis still had a working permit
what happened to him?
Dennis moved back to thailand? DAMNIT!
No he´s not, if you´d have watched the WAN show you´d know that while he no longer had a working permit, he did have a visa so he could stay in the country.
and now he is BACK!
Why did you discontinue bad unboxing?
**drops the mic**
wrong channel dude
Wrong channel
Krisztian5HUN he's married to a woman
Frosty this is not idubbbz
I've been covered in 4 layers of tinfoil for 2 years. Very effective. Would recommend.
This video weirdly reminds of Better Call Saul. I wonder why. :D
burning_pixel BREAKING BAD
Sackboy612 I really feel sorry for Chuck, they really think they have those types of diseases but they won't accept the truth
DavisSgt Yeah I know, it feels so real. On a personal note, the guy that plays him is a very good actor, i've never hated someone so much before haha
when will you continue with bad unboxing? ohh wait wrong channel
nice one
Pinkie Pie Why did you finish the comment if you realised half way through it was the wrong channel? Oh right... a bad joke.
and you continue my work :D dat sarcasm
Can't wait to see Linus' Content Cop episode on JayzTwoCents!
I see what you did there... *Wink, Wink, Nudge, Nudge*
I’ve been watching this channel for years, how have I only just come across this series?! Love it
I think you guys missed the point of the product. I'm a loss prevention officer at a major retail store. This is a theft device. Thieves put a product that would set off the EAS towers in this, and they wont get any second looks. I'm sure more than half of the backers of this product are shoplifters.
interesting to know. can´t the producers be held responsible for providing such a thief freindly item?
Not when it's not marketed that way.
oh my god you're right!
Just because an object can be "used" as an aid to theft does not mean that is what it is for... example... the aluminum wallets that are meant to block RFID readers from grabbing your credit card information could also be used to hide SD and MicroSD cards and other small items... I can provide dozens of similar anecdotes where thieves have "borrowed" a completely different technology for their own uses... Kudos for recognizing the potential, but it does not go far enough to recover from your blatant asshattery in accusing most backers to be shoplifters.... Would you like it if I stated that more than half of "Loss Prevention Officers" are incompetent, bumbling fools as evidenced by the hundreds of thousands of dollars in "losses" reported annually by those same major retail stores? I can back up my statement with evidence... perhaps rather loosely interpreted but no less valid... and yet *less* slanderous than your own statement. Oh yes... and thank you ever so much for informing a whole new crop of petty shoplifters about the possibility this affords... they likely would never have known until you ran off at the mouth... way to go genius....
You only had one job - stop the thieves...
kickstartercrap
+Pot Head (P07H34D) he already did this first
derpy derp Did he have a radio signal detector?
I missed that part.
Syäys idubbbz copied mde kickstarter.tv
"Kickstarter TV. Let's fuckin' do this." - Sam Hyde, 2007
Hey, that's pretty good!
Thunderfoot anyone?!
The original and the best. Also a nuclear physicist. Science bitches.
Diogo Almeida Don't mess with that bunny,he is called thunderfoot for a reason
Awesome seeing Linus doing some more technical stuff - keep it comming!
Such a great series, keep it coming boys!
Will it protect me from cringe things?
ACViper subject to level of cringeness
ACViper No, you should use glass reflected sun into your eyes for that
þøħ€ oh okay. Thanks
no you need to uninstall your internet peripherals drivers
Have you tried upgrading to windows 10?
Why don't you also start a Content Police series, Linus?
yeah, blatant idubbbz rip off
hgpo27 How? They give reasonable arguments and ACTUALLY review the products unlike iDubbz who only makes fun of them.
Your comment made me laugh, but Linus's video is much more factual where as idubbbz's is comedy. They're similar, but different.
john burger was thinking the same thing, but I think Linus concentrates more on Tech stuff and goes a LOT more in detail, while Idubbbz judges structure, idea, claims, etc behind any bad project.
I think its fair.
IdubbbzTV - Comedy
Linus - Facts, benchmarks, advice, etc
Idubbbz knows they are stupid to begin with, there are no facts that are needed. Slight name change, and the same thing idubbbz touched on before. Not to mention Idubbbz actually used some reason and fact, combined with comedy. But this is just stupid because we are already aware of the uselessness of this.
I love this episode and the effort put into it! awesome theme, please more!
Loved the "derp" at the end.
as a physics student this product made me cringe
and the reasons for it
Super Noodles also as a physics student; i thought it was hilarious.
as a not physics student this product still made me cringe.
If you entered the comments for too long, you'd die.
In all honesty, I think bunnies would be safer than bubble wrap.
TheGhostOfGrace it's bubblewarap. much safer
Buns have teeth, though.
Also, Buns are dicks.
Ryan Rhind they have dicks too, and claws.
HAVE YOU EVEN SEEN MONTY PYTHON? Bunnies are NOT safe.
I'd guess Shield Headwear beanies work great with their real intended use. Keep it in your pocket and put RFID tagged items inside so when you walk though a scanner it doesn't beep/alarm.
love the fact they put a link to buying tin/aluminium foil in the description
You should've put the hat on the meter not the router.
^this. Is Linus unable to read?
He was re-creating the original experiment.
>Signal strength in the hat is hundreds of times lower than outside.
Key words: IN THE HAT
They(company making hat) mesured it that same way as Linus
Nobody mesured how it work inside this pricy hat.
But from other studies(on well practicaly same thing) made by students, we know that it aplified signal inside 1000x times. Becouse it work preety much like radar dish. Signal insted of going pass head, bounces maaaany times inside hat. Such thing to work would need to cover whole body... then You can as good live in faraday cage end don't have eny electronic devices... well enything, becouse everything is to some degree radioactive... emm ideal vacum also is radioactive it's physic phenomen.
It would not have improved the results of the experiment should the hat had been put over the meter, seeing as the hat is supposed to be impermeable to radio waves to begin with. This, and the fact that the hat does NOT eliminate/absorb any sort of radiation (otherwise the hat would get mind-meltingly hot under normal city circumstances), it is simply intended to reflect radio waves away from the user/hat.
Furthermore, should he have put the hat over the meter, the results would have been consistently worse anyway, since the waves would be able to get inside of the hat and bounce around (as linus pointed out).
Idubes did this video already, no?
Aaand your point is ?
They're stealing content. Fucking idiot.
Okay Mr. Technical, how about this; they stole his ideas. In fact, they stole his entire kickstarter series
Vilious So do you go to every unboxing/news etc channel and say to them that they are stealing content ? i would understand if they were taking idubbz video and said everything he said word for word or used his video but they didnt. And i dont think idubbz has some sort of monopoly on making videos about bad kickstarters.
That's completely different. "Kickstarter Crap" was an original idea. Unboxings and news channels aren't original anymore.
Excellent video, definitely more of this!
Holy shit. I just watched the first episode of this series today and that was put out in Feb and this episode just came out today. These are good there should be more!
Linus Tech Tips is now Thunderf00t.
The only type of radiation that is harmful is ionizing radiation, and the radiation emitted by phones and WiFi routers is not ionizing radiation.
Nor is the radiation emitted by microwaves, it would however, be harmful to be exposed to 1000 times the radiation emitted by these devices.
errr the UV that give you sunburn is non-ionizing
regmigrant I never said it was ionizing.
Anyway the point of my initial comment was to say that this company's products aren't based on scientific evidence which makes us see that they developed these products based on what everyone says and didn't even do research on this topic. They might even have to file for bankruptcy in a couple of months or years.
Jimmie Melchor I think we agree, my original post was attached to the wrong comment
Way to tear em up Linus. I'm lovin' this series.
I love this new series.
the guy is full of facts and very unbiased
And now begins the week of no new content for us Vessel subscribers. I'll still probably rewatch the videos.
Logan Kelly at least we got compensator 2 to end
Never expected a second episode of this
Love kickfarted!!! Do more!!!!
Sorry to break it to you Linus, but when you switched from 'coarse' to 'fine' you switched units from milliwatts per square meter to microwatts per square meter, which by definition is a 1,000x increase in the number given. 0.1 - 0.2 milliwatts per square meter is the exact same thing as 100 - 200 microwatts per square meter. So yes, if they're claiming to reduce it to 0.2 microwatts per square meter, you're right that that's bunk, but if they didn't switch reading modes like you did and just misinterpreted the units, then they meant to say 0.2 milliwatts per square meter and they were right. I applaud your scientific approach to testing this though.
At 4:36, Linus says "2 uW/m2", when the meter actually read 10-20 uW/m2 (since the meter showed 0.01-0.02 mW/m2). Linus should correct that he misspoke about that reading. This shows that the difference between the coarse and fine readings are 20 to 100, not 2 to 100, contrary to what Linus stated. (Differences between reading scales usually don't exceed an order of magnitude on professional measurement equipment.)
But this does show that you can't get 2 uW/m2 without full "double beanie" coverage. So if Shield is claiming 2 uW/m2, that's definitely wrong on both the coarse and fine scales.
I applaud that he at least tried to use a scientific approach... but I give no kudos because he did it ass backwards... he was shielding the "source" of the radiation... following the inverse square law of radiation propagation, he was effectively masking off the much higher power levels being radiated at the antenna... is the hat meant to be placed on all the nearby antenna? No... it is mean to be placed on your head... a properly "scientific" experiment would have been to place the hat on the *receiving* antenna and measuring from there... as he pointed out later, he could have also used the same method to have the router inline with the rounded top, the side, and the "opening" to check for differences in each type.... I would also venture to say that one would not be looking at a "single source" of signal, but to deflect the hundreds of signals likely in those "high radiation" zones... where there is an exponential and cumulative increase of electromagnetic radiation... Linus's testing essentially eliminated the primary issue the hat/ beanie is meant to address.... but I suppose that may have been "lost in the shuffle" of trying to prove the Kickfarter" status...
Idubbbz called, he wants his video back.
Yeah he made the exact same points...
Who gives a shit about that guy.
About 3,000,000 people give or take
ayyy, that's mildly adequate.
The Jerk Store called, they're running out of you.
I saw that Video at Release. Finally i have time to watch it
These videos are the reason I subscribed.
"Why does anyone listen to me?" - Linus, 2016
idubbbz roasted this shit millenniums ago xD
I love when Linus rants. Keep it up bro.
This is the main reason I follow your channels. :D Cheers
.
Rock Gamer indeed
Rock Gamer i agree
exactly
Rock Gamer triggered
+Levi Jason nice name m8
Hey...thats pretty good...
lol I love that you added buy tinfoil in the description links
I put on the BGM from Secret World Legends in another tab while watching this. It was too perfect.
tfw ur selling a hat to people who think radiowaves are harmful, but u dont even think radiowaves are harmful
tpcs thats not what i was implying
tpcs i meant the company that manufactured the hats lmao
tpcs i dunno man, my "common sense" tells me that other people would understand that the video wasn't made with the intent to promote these products, and deduce that since i watched the same video they watched, that i most likely also realize that the video wasn't made to promote the product.
Armed with this information, the reader can infer that since LMG is not selling the hat, i must be referring to the manufacturer.
you original comment makes no sense +tpcs is right. Just because we assumed you watched the same video as us means nothing. I am also ASSUMING that you are LTT's regular 13 year old brain damaged american viewer and didnt actually understand what was being communicated in the video.
***** nah its just that language is imperfect
Wouldn't the correct test be putting the READER in the hat, not the router.... the reader is supposed to simulate your head, its whats receiving the radiation, so therefor it the reader should of been the item in the hat, rather then directly blocking the signals themselves.
Shielding = Shielding
That danger meter killed me, you just got a sub.
I swear Linus, i am THE grumpiest person in the world but you make me laugh with your acting skills.
Linus. I think you are pretty much an honorary engineer by now.
Hey linus, i'm italian, and my grandma died because of the earthquakes, can you spend 2 word on what is happening in italy? Thank you
Francesco my condolences
Francesco RIP GRANDMA
FUCK YOU!
What good will that do?
dude this is 'tech tips' not 'world news tonight'. Sorry for your loss, but go beg for QQs somewhere else.
0:36 YOU KNOCKED THE HAT OVER! AHAHAHAHA! I don't know why I found that so funny.
I love tinfoil hats, for some reason I think the topic, when taken seriously, is one of the funniest thing in the world. Please keep up kickfarted (maybe make a separate channel?) thanks!
Bubblewarap?
MinhaoGrammarTips
So this is what the XBox fanboys wear...
Well they weren't wrong; their product isn't an "improved" version of a tinfoil hat... Great video Linus and crew, love the new series!
What would really be useful is if pant pockets could protect our legs from cell signal radiation.
I guess that may result in losing that ever so precious cell signal you crave everyday, but, it's either cancer, or a text.
People are complaining that idubbbz already did this, but they don't consider that this is an actual review of the product, and not some rant based off of the campaign. Idubbbz doesn't buy the products he reviews, which is the biggest and the most important difference in these series.
idubbbz is still better though
Bagel of the Future No, iDubbbz is no where near as good as LTT.
The problem is wifi signal is NOT harmful
it also keeps you warm but actually acting as a micro wave captor!
I started watching again because I like his intro, I forgot how fun it is
This is like high production value kickstarter crap.
Linus wouldn't know fashion if it hit him in the face with a titanium hat.
Socks and sandals are fashionable though.
More of this please.
Wow never Thought Linus would take a Trip into my neighborhood awesome!
Linus and iDubbbz have a really strange relationship. It is way too accepting towards each other.
This is what iDoops doesn't do, did he ever bought some of the crap he covers to actualy review it while using it? That would be great, but without bags of cash from sponsors it would be plain stoopid. That's why I like this new series.
Thanks for the link to the foil, time to grill stuff!
Lol took 8 months to get to episode 2?

Kickfarted is just an amazing series. Ep. 1 was HILARIOUS! and this one (Ep. 2) was also really funny.
I can't wait for more kickstarter and other crowdfunding idiotic tech. Please! keep making this series on a regular basis! :(
he's sweaty :)) linus works like a normal person, i'm amazed!
I cant believe you ripped off idubbbbztv's episode of kickstarter crap he already did on this product.
So? If Idubbz does something, no one else can? I guess you should stop breathing and drinking water.
PEWDIEPIE ALREADY PLAYED THIS GAME!!!
YOU WANNA BE RIPOFF LOSER!!!
no, you fucking shit. there's dozens of new kickstarters every day and linus had to pick the one that was already done by someone else for ez pz content stealing.
MrDinvader The Simpsons did it first. ..
ronniedude so by that logic, news channels are copying every other news channel which cover the same story at a different time? If they don't do something obvious like copying verbatim or stealing pictures, you have no evidence to say he copied someone else. Which Linus rightfully didn't.

a Titanium Helmet would be amazing, as long as it still had padding on the inside as well as a softer material as a second layer on the outside.
then you'd your nigh indestructibility paired with some stuff to absorb the impact forces.
idubbz is an edgey meme lord, this channel is nothing like it

And now we still don't know the difference between a regular hat and a 'Shield' hat in terms of radiation protection.
Okay, so I saw this awhile ago, but I came back just to say that it took me like, 2 full days to catch on the to low-key sarcasm going on here. I was watching this and was like, "it's all BS anyhow" until today when I was watching another video and it clicked how goddamn subtle this whole video is.
10 points for the wit I didn't know you guys had.
