That’s anchovies. It’s cafe price. You can get the nasi lemak at roadside for rm1 in remote areas but in KL normal smaller portion wrapped like a pyramid pack for rm1.50-rm3 range.
Oh that’s great to know! I’ll have to the ones from the roadside. I would definitely be interested to see and try one! 😍 thank you for the information!
There are other places example
1. Wanjo, kampung baru
2. Village park, Bandar utama
3. Tang lin nasi lemak , near botanical garden.
That’s great, thanks so much for letting me know! I will definitely have to give these a try! 😍
The spicier the better! You will know the next day!🤪🤪🤪
😆
1:15 Pop... Pop... Pop... POP!!!!!!

And thanks to you for watching! I really appreciate that. Have a great evening! :)
@@kierantravels Have a great evening too. 😀
D nasi lemak looked good, simple as it should be. Nasi lemak is a Malay comfort food, but in Malaysia, all d other races, Chinese, Indian like it too, n many Malaysian Chinese cafes n Indian restaurants sell nasi lemak. 😀
Kaya, is a type of spread, a curd that is made out of simmering coconut milk, egg yolks n palm sugar. It's also used in some desserts like seri muka n pulut kaya. Both is a dessert of sticky rice n kaya. 😀
@@Yasin_Affandiit was delicious! I think this will be something I definitely have again in the future 😍
Bagus sekali cara anda membuat video singkat dan jelas

"Kaya" is a type of jam made from coconut milk.
and Egg.
Thanks for the information! It was so tasty! 😍
@@kierantravels we found a way to make jam from egg, sugar and coconut milk
Roadside coffee shop will add on the spice, but if you're at a swanky eatery or hotel and you order nasi lemak, the rice more enriched and the spice will be a little less.
And... welcome to Malaysia ❤
That’s great to know! Thanks for the information 🙏🏻 loving my time in Malaysia so far 😍
The thing that you call fish stick is anchovies
Ohhh! Thanks for clarifying! 😆 I appreciate that!
@@kierantravelsyou're welcome
You should have gone to the Village Park nasi lemak which is more palletteable to foreign tastes that can't handle spicy food. Their fried chicken is the most popular.
Oooo okay. Thanks for the recommendation! I will be sure to go and give that a try 😍
You can always avoid the sambal if you can't handle spicy foods 😅 Eventho I'm a Malaysian I only put a drop or two of sambal if the sambal is super hot coz idk I don't really like spicy food . But if the sambal isn't spicy , I'll just mix the whole thing .
Yes that’s very true 😅 im definitely going to try it again with less sambal! Looking forward to my next Nasi Lemak 🙈
Bro if you want to try Malay dishes like nasi lemak nasi kerabu satay etc it's better for you try some in Malay eateries.. not only authentic, delicious and also reasonable price.. you can find them many in Kampong Baru, Keramat, Tangling and Jalan TAR-Masjid India etc..
Due to Ramadhan they're open at about 4pm otherwise it'll be available in the morning..
That’s really great to know man! Thanks so much for the advice, I’ll definitely look into that! Thanks so much for watching!
@@kierantravels you are most welcome 👍
Bless ya dude, you always get stiffed when it comes to spicy foods. 🤣 Great short vid broski! 👏🏻
Hahah cheers my bro! 😆 really happy you enjoyed it man, and thanks for the support! 🔥
Hello, you have a great you tube channel, for the next country to visit Pakistan, like the cities of Lahore, Islamabad, karachi, Peshawar, Hunza valley….
With great hospitality, beautiful places to visit, multicultural and very good food. Thank you
Thanks so much for your kind words! One day I will absolutely visit Pakistan! Thanks for the suggestions 🤗
Enak
Enak 😝
Nasi lemak is spicy
15.90 is expensive gourmet nasi lemak. Roadside is cheaper. 7.50 perhaps with chicken.
Great to know! Looking forward to trying more soon 😍
@Kieran Travels it is just like street burger ramly (5 to 6 ringgit) vs gourmet burger myburgerlab which can be more than 20 ringgit. It is Like the difference between the sky and the land.
2:02 Spicy there bud! 😂
Very spicy!! Definitely want to do another video trying another Nasi Lemak!
Malaysians and thais like spicy stuff. Remember that
Oh absolutely! It’s just me that sometimes finds it difficult 😆
Please you eat NASI LEMAK WANJO , femous in malaysia …
I will check this out! Thank you for the recommendation 🤗
OMG... you should checkout some of the other nasi lemak eating video first.. that join look terrible.. too expensive.. you are paying for their trendy vibe.. should have gone to Kampong Baru ''Wan JO''.. nasi lemak.. Nasi lemak is basically rice cooked in coconut milk plus.. and other side dishes..
Oooo okay! I’ll check that one out next and maybe do a comparison video! Thanks for the info… I went to this one by recommendation, so maybe I should try this one next! Thanks for the suggestion 😃
actually, i think the nasi lemak in ali muthu and ah hock is pretty decent. Not the best, but IMO not bad at all. And for it being more of a restaurant styled place, RM6 is also an acceptable price. For sure u will get cheaper and better ones if you look for it, but for a start its a good introduction to nasi lemak.
My advice is do not mix all of the sambal spice with the rest of the rice portion. Taste test it.
DM me bro. Let me honor you by bringing to other hidden food in KL. No catch. Just introducing more KL to you
