Who doesn't like cheap, good food?
We do! Our friends @Travelgramers took us to Marang to eat at the favourite RM1 restaurant. Yes! Almost everything on the menu is RM! ($0.24). That is the cheapest food we have ever eaten.
The menu has nasi goreng, nasi lemak, mee goreng, keropok lekor, and roti keramat.
We also went around Marang and its fishing village after.

Just a suggestion.. Try sungai bangang in dungun.. a very crystal clear water and a little bit of hiking. Google it.

I was born and raised in Singapore. But my mom is from Marang, Terengganu. I grew up in Marang for a while and I did go back once in a while to visit my family before corona kicks in. Watching your videos makes me miss my family. Travel safe guys!

While some use price as a selling gimmick, there are other businesses in Malaysia that sells at cheap price because they want to perform charity to people who eat their food. Its with hope for God's blessing.

The original Roti Keramat is long and sold over food stalls in Kuala Terengganu & known as "Kayu Keramat" or literally translated as "Sacred Log" because of its longish shape. Its similar to the Chinese "Char Koi" sold in KL but the Kayu Keramat is slighty sweet.

This is the 3rd visit by Joao & Cristiana to the now famous Roti Keramat place in Marang. I need to make sure I stop at this place on my next trip back to Kuala Terengganu. Hahaha.
I thing I fear most when travelling to east coast ( pahang, terengganu and kelantan) is I tend to over eat as the food are mostly home made, assured halal and above all reasonably priced.
The best way to eat roti keramat is by dip in gravy/ curry ..you can ask the seller if you eat at restaurant or stall..
I think I want to go Terengganu just for this roti keramat. It look so good.
Seeing this little shop 3 times makes me want to go there just for roti keramat.

Thr tips that lady gave was putting the leftover dough in the fridge, you can fried it again and the dough will not spoilt

if in KL...I have ever seen a stall in Setiawangsa near (Masjid Keramat Wangsa), I think the seller there are from Terengganu who live and do sell it in KL.

I will definitely visit this warong/stall when i go to KT. Tqvm for the info. Christiana fav kuih. This time with Steve and Ivana. I can eat 2 packets of nasi lemak one go. And others as well. Starting Nov till next year ferry services from Merang jetty may be reduced, if not halted, due to monsoon? Fyi Redang island pasir panjang beach has always been the place id love to visit.. Do check it out if you love beautiful seaside.

Guys, check out kenyir lake while you are kt terengganu. Have fun swimming at air terjun Lansir and Kelah Sanctuary too. Oh the have duty free shop for chocolate and stuff. Also, if you are lucky, try ikan baung and other exotic food in Kuala Berang

next is kenyir...must go..first you go to tourist centre in front of pasar payang..you can find tourist centre and ask them how to go to kenyir...back of the tourist centre is the historical hill call bukit puteri....actually u can google sepetang kenyir resort to pick up you guys...kenyir lake the biggest human made lake in south east asia.

Guys, there are 2 variants to Chendol. The evaporated milk version vs coconut milk. Try the coconut milk version with sago gula melaka. It's much tastier.
