- D = Deceiver. Well I start as a Deceiver, then switch to a hollow to support the yak and nayat. The tying style is a hybrid of both, as why tie one or the other when it doesn't always achieve what you want. It's a style of tying I apply to not just pike flies. The tutorial is packed with tips based upon my own experience over the years of tying and fishing. So I hope you find it useful.
Another excellent video and I like the vice - Renzetti Master - I use the Renzetti 4000 but I gotta-have the next up! Joking aside - thanks for the tuition, it's most helpful.
Hey Paul
I tried the liquid fusion per your recommendation. I don't have the issues with super glue that you do, so I'm continuing to use that for gluing my wraps due to its quick drying time, but I have found that the liquid fusion is far and away the best head cement on the market, bar none. Thanks for a great tip, and keep the great videos coming. I really enjoy them.
Very nice streamer and video Paul…….Thank you 👍🎣
Nice fly as always Paul. Your flies work really great. Thanks again for such great patterns.

Hola Paul
Muy lindas Moscas
Pero tengo una consulta como hunden estas moscas no quedarían casi flotando con tanto pelo ?
Por que me gustaría probarla con el Dorado. pero necesitaría mas hundimiento.
Saludos cordiales desde Agentina.
If you need weight for a fast current in order to sink them quick. Try adding a medium size tungsten cone behind the head. I do this on flies I need to sink fast. Typically on jig flies, but work well on conventional hooks. Good luck
Thanks.
Love those eyes!
Super streamer 👍
