I only do flyfishing mate sry but easiest thing would be to put some lead on the leader and cast it like they do it someties with softbaits to reach deaper waters. You can also fish nearly every Streamer Dropshot style. Everything else depends on the weight of you spinning rod. Sometimes an epoxy head or a tungsten beed can be enough weight for an ultralight spinfishing rod.
