Woodturning Beautiful ash, stunning copper leaf and a crack

Sadly this ash tree had ash dieback and had to be taken down, Happily I got a few bits, Woodturning seems some times to be a game of chance. I always find that when someone kindly says there's a few bits of wood there if that would interest you, its nearly always very interesting indeed. you never know what you'll get but its always a thrill. The crack in the center of this piece caught my eye and the rest fell into place.
