I want more videos in the vein of this one. The Zoodiac video you had suggested sounded interesting. Personally, I want a video about Striker since we are in the first format where it is dead since its release. It could be a fun piece to look back on to know what it was like. It is like a historian writing about the current era. Very interesting in the future and still relevant now.

I agree. It can come back. However. Skill Drain is legal so you could tribute with a spell and trap and just tae monster effects out completely. So that's kind of broken

Dragun barely even helps Red-Eyes but it’s super powerful. Half-point proven
I mean monarchs could really use a card like master peace since true dracos had to go be unnecessarily broken. Every engine monarchs try to use ends up getting hit. As a monarch main(since before dragonruler spellbook format) that seems to be the biggest issue so far with the deck. They hit half the deck and have done nothing to give them any kind of edge in the game at all. (Inb4 somebody tries to tell me the unprotected domain lock is actually still viable when you'll never even get out a monarch half the time because monarchs cant play through their bricks let alone negates.)
@Why does everyone Forget George joestar probably because every time they get a single engine to help their ass consistency the ban list shafts them. Also none of their monsters have any form of built in protection.
@Why does everyone Forget George joestar why give any deck support and why does anyone want to get support for a deck other than that they play it? Also its been like what? 4-5 years since monarchs were even meta or had all their cards unrestricted. Also new support would make sense since we're missing mega Kuraz and Delg. Not to mention the cards hint at monarchs actually gathering for a reason but that reason has never been explained. Everyone acts like theyre unstoppable because of domain lock when if youve ever been on the R/monarch reddit you'd realize everyone who plays monarchs nowadays runs extra deck monarchs because even if domain WAS consistent its insanely easy to break which makes it unviable.
@Why does everyone Forget George joestar people hate monarchs because they think domain monarchs are an actual strategy that monarch players still use when its been power crept already. Nobody plays domain monarchs not even in MR5. Youre scared of a combo noone uses anymore. And extra deck monarchs no longer have the quantal engine with e-tele at one. Nor the brilliant fusion engine. True king monarchs arent viable because metaltron sucks going first and it just adds another way for the deck to brick. If you cant out domain ever that means you either run no removal in your main deck or you arent playing a even half competitive deck. Go make domain monarchs right now abd try the deck out against full power heroes and SPYrals and Orcust. In which i say good fucking luck with summoning Edea and getting ash'd and passing turn one literally every game.

I hope this doesn't come off as rude, promoting other youtubers under his video, but Swagkage is currently working on it, he's gonna go over all the eras of yugioh since 2004 if i remember correctly and he was also working together with dzeeff, farfa etc etc, so stay tuned for that

My biggest regret is I never got to play Draco at Full power. At the time I was just getting into the game and played casually for along time. Now Draco is on its knees and I’ve picked up the deck and love it. Let’s hope the ban list is kind.

I don't know, seeing how the game developed and the fact that Diagram is now limited, I really think 1 Master Peace is fine.
Granted, I'm a true Draco lover (yes, even when I'm fighting it and they Heritage into duality into Demise into Pot of Greed) so my point of view might be biased but I'm still convinced it's not as oppressive as it used to be.... granted that's a free win against Altergeists

My conspiracy theory is Master Peace was banned the list before Sky Striker was released in TCG, and Master Peace makes Sky Striker irrelevant
Agreed . They realized they were actually losing money and would lose even more because their new meta deck pushes weren't the end all be all with True King around . True Dracos weren't made to be broken , they were made to break the current lock on the metas at the time . But this was bad for business so it got the axe . They didn't like that people were still using them 2 to 3 years later in tournaments instead of buying and using the new sets. We now see that Konami is constantly doing this in cycles . Make new broken thing , let everyone buy it , then ban it shortly after . Aka Dragun

They also did this when Tri-Zoo became and stayed relevant with unbanned Drident. Right now, the straits Konami has with powercreep is going too far with Tearalaments and Splights. It even seems like they made up a whole isekai story with the excuse of releasing overly ridiculous/broken decks for “no reason”.
In fact, with Tri-brigade, it makes this shit the most blatent. Branded Despia was a deck they designed bottom to top be an absolute format winner, till branded Tri-brigade came in with Verte and became a tier 1 deck. It was only when that happened, they finally banned that fucking snake. The fact they did an emergency ban list right before the YCS to get rid of Verte says a lot about what they’re doing.

Timelords were this thing’s Achilles Heal. They were outright immune to Master Peace’s effects and could stall out the deck with their recycling effects.

Ya venominaga was the first and it’s the only card that both can’t be targeted snd is unaffected by other card effects
True Draco will never die and still be good against any future archetypes. Especially Paelo Frogs, control is the name of the meta game, stick to it and don't bother to invest on new stuff.
I recently bought the Domain Stun version of True Draco from Ebay and oh goodness the salt it generates is glorious! The deck taught me resource management and tactical training.

Yep that's literally the reason they hit dracos so hard . They were losing money cuz with them people weren't buying as much of the new sets . This is actually the result of two big tournaments making note of it . California and Toronto in 2019 I think game officials noted that they didn't like and older archetype not allowing the newer decks to shine and Konami axed it hard that next ban .

Wow you right, I'm dumb lol. Towers was the first *Relevant* monster of it's kind I guess lol. Venominga was a cheese card while Apoqliphort towers was supposed to be playable.

Dragun isn't unaffected by card effects. It just can't be targeted or destroyed by effects. Granted it does have a negation quick effect, but it comes at the cost of discarding a card. No hand, no negates. And the destruction/burn effect is only usable on your turn.

Or a monarch player. Tbh i wish monarchs would just get new support already. Master Peace was like the only viable boss monster you could run that wouldnt be insanely easily outted by pretty much any removal cards. Even with march on field its too easy to out monarchs. Itd be great if they added SOMETHING to replace him for monarchs. Domain lock is a joke nowadays. Yeah you might win a locals or two with it but good luck with bricking at regionals with your one copy of pantheism(which shouldnt even be limited anymore ocg has had it at 3 for awhile now and they still dont do anything)
Vennominaga came before Towers did and it had the Unaffected by other cards effect.
It's a quick effect so it can disrupt plays instead of just sitting on his ass like other Towers

Venominnaga is the first Towers like card from Tactical Evolution way back in GX era. Fun fackt btw. Mqster Piece is way easier to summon no doubt.
Masterpiece could come back and True Draco wouldn't be to broke because of where the archetype is at. Due to the field spell being limited and all of the field spell searchers being limited. As well as card of demise being limited. It would be fun to have him back at one.
Red-Eyes Dragoon is not a problem by the way. It's perfectly fine.

My buddy kinda pissed me off today, lol.
(We use banned cards, but still follow limit rules of cards.) he read my Master Peace, and saw it said “Unaffected by the card TYPE that was used to summon Master Peace. I see literally everywhere on the internet that it doesn’t matter the monster card type used to summon Master Peace. I’d love some help, thanks to anyone who’s better at reading than us!
Right so if you tribute summon him using just monsters. It's unaffected by monsters. Same with spells and traps. You can tribute summon it using spells and traps as well as monsters but only 2 of them. Whatever you use, it'll be unaffected by. For whatever reason, if you special summon him, it's not applicable and will be affected by monster spell and trap cards.

Master peace is fine by itself. The problem is true draco and the shitload of draw power and floodgates they use.

The first of witch is the venom arch type boss
An interesting aspect Master Peace is that it's unaffected by its own destruction effect, if you tributed a monster to summon it. In this scenario you can't take control of monster-immune Master Peace with a spell/trap and try to destroy it with its own effect; likewise you can't destroy your own monster-immune Master Peace if it's about to be taken with a spell/trap.
It is still not immune for a material for a summon so you can link summon it away after you take control it or just tribute summon it if it is about to take away

imagine being able to drop multiple dingirsu in 1 turn. that's what master peace was back in that format. the end board was often 2 master peace (one spell, one trap and both monster immune) and a drident, plus multiple backrow including solemns and floodgate effects like d-barrier, sanctum into scythe etc.

Just going to say I am currently a @ignister player and arrival although difficult to summon and needs a 3 or 2 card combos to make it really is not worth it.
