@@maxinator2869 Promoting something in multiple places probably does heighten the chances when the actual advert in the video is in the very end (a part people could very easily skip). Also, it's just a comment, its not really in your face when the actual plugs are down in the description among other affiliated links, at the very end of the vid, and a comment. Usually, he has it in the middle between vid segments, but it wasn't, so I don't see why you're complaining when they're all not a big focus.

im surprised there was no mention about the insane brigading of official Konami posts with the comment "Ban Firewall" during the last month or so of its lifetime. Ive never seen the community band together for such a righteous and just cause.
When the Firewall ftk was still playable I played something even more nasty and it was the level eater blue-eyes combo. This was far more dangerous than the firewall ftk at the time due to it being able to summon four negates monsters and four backrow that also stopped plays even further. It had a 93% ratio of winning unless three handtraps where used to stop the combo.

Also, it got a very MINISCULE trap a while back so they are aware the deck exists. I probably won't be very viable but he wants new cards, that's it.

My problem is this guy that i see in the comments of many yugioh videos saying this again and again and again.... I want support for old decks too but just for how many time he has appeared in the comments telling that i would want them to delay any volcanic support as much as they can.
The reason why I would say that firewall was such an insane card is because in my multiple ftk decks I have to go into multiple combo pieces that might take an enormous place in my extra deck whereas firewall was allowing us to jump over an enormous amount of steps giving us a lot of place to work with and moreover : multiple win conditions
I remember back in the day Mermails of all decks could use Firewall + Gumblar + Moulinglacia to handloop your opponent for 6 and Extra link them in the process rather consistently. Fun times.

I still remember when I pulled the Trickstar Combo with FireWall in a tournament, in the beginnings of the Link Era. That’s the time that made me realize how busted broken FireWall really is. There’s a reason for a time the “Once per Turn” limiter was put into so many cards. I’m still shocked that Konami didn’t put it in this card! I remember when my friend opened a single pack of code of the duelist and found firewall dragon, while my best card was c107 (I played an xyz themed deck with the cards that I owned) And that's why I decided to play online on ygopro and duelingbook.
U know , things may have gotten ugly , but I’ll always love and respect this card for what it did. He proved anime protagonist ace monsters can be taken serious, that the sky is truly the limit for deck building and combo potential, and that anything is truly possible of your out your mind into it. Shame he had to go, I do hope he can be errataed and come back but until then I’ll remember this card well even if some decide not to
Something I think is interesting is that World Chalice didn’t see play when circuit break came out purely because we didn’t figure out how to play it. I’m talking Venus/Shine balls, exodius to shuffle them back, brilliant fusion, Waterfront and the lot. It was the original firewall deck that never got love, and I’ll never forget it

With the new rules that just passed, Yu-Gi-Oh! can solve every problem by making a simple rule across the board to have every card’s effect to be use once per turn and only once per turn. If Yu-Gi-Oh! can make a rule to override texts on cards, like Trap Monster Cards not needing to be in the Spell/Trap card zone, then they can make my recommended change.

It's a link 3 cyberse with 2200 atk that requires 2 or more monsters. Has all 3 arrow pointing at the bottom. Effects as followed: (this card is also treated as a dragon monster). This card is also treated as a level 3 monster while it is not in the field. This card cannot be destroyed by battle, cards or card effects while it points to at least 1 occupied zone. Once per turn, you can special summon monsters or Set spell/trap cards to zones this card points to from your GY or banish zone then destroy cards from your hand equal to the number of cards place on the field by this effect. The link 4 monster that used this card as material is a pendulum monster and if it leave the field it can be played in the spell trap zones. If place in the pendulum zones it is treated as a pendulum card. As for the rest of its effects i have a Hard time to decide since its pre evolution has an already very powerful effect.

This effect can only be used once while face-up on the field. If a monster this card points to is destroyed by battle or sent to the GY: you can special summon one cyberse monster from your hand. You cannot activate any monster effect, exept cyberse monsters effect, during the turn you activate each of this card's effect, also you cannot activate both of "Firewall Dragon" effects in the same turn. (Even if there isn't any other cyberse FTK enabler, this card would be very powerful regardless, i know)

Let’s be real firewall was not the problem card, it was linkuriboh. That little dooder was the real crux of the extra link, most broken card I’ve ever seen. It’s got more plot armour than firewall, cuz it was Ai’s ace monster.

Shortly after that event, it was banned. There was speculation that Konami employee feedback from getting destroyed was a factor in its getting banned. It wasn’t as powerful as people think back in 2017 and was the fairest deck of that entire format. Then Electrumite came out and limited the design off all future pendulum decks
All Konami had to do was make the second effect a once per turn thing, it's bullshit. Konami needs to take Firewall Dragon off the banlist and fix the second effect.
It's honestly one of the easiest broken cards to fix. Just a Hard opt condition of that effect by that named monster. Or even once until your next Standby Phase to be safe. Still very powerful, can disrupt and/or gain advantage with the bounce, can extend plays with 1 single special summon effect but removes game braking loops.
I remember how excited I was when they finally banned firewall. People were comment spamming ban firewall on all official yugioh social media posts. I was actually screaming in excitement the day they banned firewall.
jarringly despite this firewall dragon being Yusaku ace monster with ATK of 2500 like most previous protagonists ace monsters has been Summoned the least amount of times. Whereas most main protagonists' signature monsters have appeared often in most future duels their owners are involved in, Yusaku has been an outlier in this regard, using it in only a few times in the anime so far has only appeared in three episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS and twice in season 2 not at all since episode 82, which was aired in December 2018 when this card was declared Forbidden in the OCG/TCG which is reason why firewall doesn’t appear again not helped since firewall is only ace monster of protagonist that doesn’t used in final battle and last episode of series like most protagonist ace monsters used for finale of series but instead it make up for his evolved form firewall dragon darkfluid used in last episodes

Ya know, despite the argument that Firewall Dragon not being banned for a while due to being the Ace of the Protagonist in the Anime is interesting to look back on because Yusaku (Protagonist of VRAINS) barely used it. In fact, he used it a total of 5 times: summoned 3 times in Season 1 and 2 times in Season 2. And the in which he summoned it where many episodes apart from each other. So, did the meta actually influenced how often it got used or the writers knew from the beginning not to use it as often regardless? Just some food for thought

You forgot this: When you activate this card’s effect your opponent’s LP cannot go lower than 2000

I find it hilarious and ironic that Pendulum Magicians were meta back in 2017, even though the whole reasoning behind MR4 was to kill Pendulum decks.
It wasn’t as powerful as people think back in 2017 and was the fairest deck of that entire format. Then Electrumite came out and limited the design off all future pendulum decks

It's honestly one of the easiest broken cards to fix. Just a Hard opt condition of that effect by that named monster. Or even once until your next Standby Phase to be safe. Still very powerful, can disrupt and/or gain advantage with the bounce, can extend plays with 1 single special summon effect but removes game braking loops.

Now, the card is not in the forbidden list April 14, 2021!!!!
What is more surprising at all is that Konami didn´t ban this card at the moment.

I remember how excited I was when they finally banned firewall. People were comment spamming ban firewall on all official yugioh social media posts. I was actually screaming in excitement the day they banned firewall.

It’s the VRAINS protagonist’s ace card. That’s essentially telling them to errata Stardust Dragon, or errata Number 39.

jarringly despite this firewall dragon being Yusaku ace monster with ATK of 2500 like most previous protagonists ace monsters has been Summoned the least amount of times. Whereas most main protagonists' signature monsters have appeared often in most future duels their owners are involved in, Yusaku has been an outlier in this regard, using it in only a few times in the anime so far has only appeared in three episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS and twice in season 2 not at all since episode 82, which was aired in December 2018 when this card was declared Forbidden in the OCG/TCG which is reason why firewall doesn’t appear again not helped since firewall is only ace monster of protagonist that doesn’t used in final battle and last episode of series like most protagonist ace monsters used for finale of series but instead it make up for his evolved form firewall dragon darkfluid used in last episodes
No his not the ace the ace is decode talker firewall didn't bshow up that much because it didn't have any real meaning especially compared to the other ace monsters. Firewall is just the most useful gaia knight we ever got. The anime also ended on a code talker link 4 as well

Ya know, despite the argument that Firewall Dragon not being banned for a while due to being the Ace of the Protagonist in the Anime is interesting to look back on because Yusaku (Protagonist of VRAINS) barely used it. In fact, he used it a total of 5 times: summoned 3 times in Season 1 and 2 times in Season 2. And the in which he summoned it where many episodes apart from each other. So, did the meta actually influenced how often it got used or the writers knew from the beginning not to use it as often regardless? Just some food for thought

They're all banned in the OCG except Shadowpriestess of Ohm i think. But yeah, those cards definitely shouldn't exist.
