I cannot tell you how helpful your video is as I go through the New York versus LA debate. I am currently in Seattle and cannot wait for my lease to end and get out! Used to live in New York, and have visited LA but have been on the fence. I’m really leaning towards LA after your video. Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️
I'm a die-hard spiritualist by default. (African). I laughed so hard when you I saw "Power of Now" Echkart Toll. Talking about the pain body and chakras. "Who have I become?" LMAO. You will enjoy the spiritual ride there imposed to going on this journey in NY. Let me tell you, your location makes a difference whether your lessons are harder or mild, and my NY spiritual awakening I wouldn't wish on my worse enemy. Can't wait to land in LA and go even harder than I am currently.
@@FabianKim-z9u honestly it’s totally different, especially in terms of traffic and public transportation. Love how there always something to do every weekend, and how many different cultural pockets there are out here in LA
Very funny video😂. Born & raised new yorker here and have always been an early riser. Loved walking near🌅 fdr drive since for ever!! I still hate dishwashers and refuse to use them😕. Thanks for another great one🍎💚💯
Welcome to LA, where time (driving and navigating parking) and $ are your greatest limiters. Also, lots of flakes, unless you live only a few miles away. I know you love beaches! I think you'd find the southern part of Venice Beach off of Washington to be very relaxing. Also, Kenneth Hahn shouldn't be far from you and is a very beautiful park. Great vid!
I thought the same thing about Vegas when I moved in 2003 I thought I'm going to hang out on the strip see celebrities in concert drink every day for free and win a million dollars at the slot machines 🤣🎰 I still don't hang out on the strip I don't drink everyday yes I've seen my fair share of celebrities due to the work I do but I haven't won a million dollars yet....
I moved out here to Vegas from Chicago when I was 15 and 1/2 and honestly it may be more expensive for basic everyday things as well as rent pricing but other than that it’s not bad I’m so excited to be 21 this November because I can actually enjoy the city by playing slot machines like everyone else I can’t wait
I just living out here in L.A its the best damn city in America the weather here in L.A it is just so freakin amazing specially during the winter time never snow here in L.A it hardly never rains here in L.A almost always sunny here in HOLLYWOOD
You would've enjoyed Lalaland even more had you not moved in the middle of a pandemic. Glad you found Culver City. It is central and close to everything. Also, Culver City was/is a part of Hollywood history and present. MGM, now Sony, was one of the original Hollywood studios (think Wizard of Oz and Gone With the Wind). MGM was one of Hollywood's largest studios. Imagine MGM backlot stretching from Overland and Washington down to where WLA College is now. My friends, who grew up in CC in the 50s-70s, told me they snuck onto and played on MGM backlots. Enjoy this sprawling megalopolis that's larger, more populated and has a higher GDP than many European countries (that too many transplants whine that Lalaland is NOT).
Hollywood history and GDP will do nothing for people who move there - you rent and always will and if you buy a house it you will need 300k down and enjoy your 6500 a month payment for a crappy house. If you are a poser and think you are someone you will fit in with everyone else who is lying about their life
Thank you for posting this. I am looking to move to LA within the next 6 months. Do you have any tips on finding cheap rent in a good area?? i want to live close to the beach so i was thinking culver city but my budget is like around 1200 per month.
it's funny how it's very similar to the versus between Paris and French Riviera (Nice), i come from Paris moved to Nice, and it's exactly the same expectations (but reality is maybe better as the city is not too big like in LA, and housing is a bit more affordable) but yea it's so f*cking good to leave grey/cold city of Paris for a sunny/warm city like Nice surrounded by nature, where it's much slower and sweet to live, i also go to the beach every week, and do hiking in moutains when i'm motivated :) PS : the real question in America is actually : Miami or LA ? I would say Miami personnaly ;)
Loool! That was really funny! Wake up early morning is better for work, I think. And for hiking is while the sunset, it’s really beautiful and fresh hahaha Don’t you think?
Women are attractive in both places just year round dress better in LA. Other than that NYC I love cos you don't need a car and it's convenient to get around.
@@Arthurfiji but with all the smog can you even see the sun? I thought those were clouds in the sunset....nope smog.😬 and isn't California going through a DROUGHT?! 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
I couldn't tell you man I haven't lived in either just going off of what I've heard from people who live there. I've heard that's just June gloom and LA is sunny most of the time and I've heard Florida is sunny but rains all the time! And Florida doesn't have anything on California when it comes to to the land, Florida has the coast and the everglades the rest is flat and from what I see looks boring and no where near as gorgeous as California

Your videos are hilarious bro. I’m moving to LA from NJ later this year, and can’t wait
How do you like it ? NJ seems very similar to LA minus the palm trees. Skyline looks the same

Yes! So there R mountain lions there!
In what world do people not have garbage disposals? I am pretty sure CA is not the only state to have these inventions.
pretty much nonexistent in nyc lol

You ran your garbage disposal dry! Your landlord must love you.
LMAO your dog pays the bills

Good videp
It was a fun video
If anyone calls LA a great city, and ppl actually move here - then I can’t imagine how shitty the rest of the US cities must be!😵💫
😏🙄
Why you talk like that….
Kind of pointless.
how do you guys deal with earthquakes and all that? arent you afraid of the big one thats expected? 😩
Your videos inspire me. I've always wanted to move to LA, but my biggest fear is violent crime. Do you ever feel unsafe?
Thank you! Not typically, no, but you gotta use your judgment with places you visit
