When I was in middle school, I attended a mostly black school. It was an almost daily occurrence of a small group of black kids jumping white classmates after school. The first time I got jumped, I got a week suspension due to the schools zero tolerance policy. Even though I didn't initiate and barely had any ability to fight back, it was still considered a violation of the policy. The black kids did not get suspended because the school determined they were already too far behind in their studies from previous suspensions and didn't want them to fall further behind. When I returned to school after my suspension, I was jumped again for snitching. I remember my parents trying to take this issue to school boards and journalists. Everything about it was completely ignored, and this was back in 2006. I can't imagine what it's like for some of these kids now.

I dont blame my parents, It was the same school my older brother went to just 5 years before me, and there wasnt any problems when he attended. He even did so well that he skipped a year. I grew up in Section 8 housing until I was 16 and my mother worked very hard to get us out. I was The only white kid that rode my school bus and was constantly harassed by the AA residents and students. They used to chase me after getting off the bus all the way to my door, they broke my ankle with a bat one time while chasing me. My school said there was nothing they could do, and there were days they would stand outside my apartment with weapons just slamming on the door. When that happened I would be shaking at my door with a kitchen knife praying the door would hold. So glad I’m not in that kinda area anymore.

This has been going on since the 80’s. When I was 7 I got jumped by 5 black kids, I was knocked out and don’t remember much about the incident. Afterwards for the remainder of the school year the counselors would call me in and ask me about my dad, does your dad scare you, does your dad hit you. Later on in life I found out that my dad was arrested that day for coming to my rescue, for pulling the 5 kids off me.

Yeah, I remember a day back in 2000, living in a culdesac I saw a Hispanic man selling ice cream with a pushcart. 12 black teenagers surrounded him and mugged him, then stole all the ice cream bars he had. I was 7 then and I had no idea why they would do that. Answer is simple, they all have hatred in their hearts.

Nearly every time I hear the word "bullying", once I hear the actual situation, it's more accurately described as "assault" or "mugging". Things adults would go to the police for, or pull a pistol and shoot someone in self defense over, they instead minimize as "bullying" when it happens in a highschool.

I was jumped by around 10 to 15 black students in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 2003. I thought I was going to die and passed out. A random citizen came up in his car armed and saved my life. The incident happened near the same area as the incident of this victim. It's sad to say this is part of the culture in Las Vegas. I can't believe no one came and helped this boy. Now this boy's family has to deal with the loss of their son.

Vegas resident here. Yes, CBS8 is our local affiliate. And there have been arrests. At least four of the assailants have been transferred from juvenile detention to county jail.
Not gonna lie. This one got to me. As a father of two boys, hearing the dad speak, coupled with AJW’s comment that he “raised his kid right” and that was what cost him his life…dang. I’ll be hugging my boys a little tighter today.

Reminds me of a story I heard a while back of a girl trying to explain why he boyfriend was in jail. She said he was innocent, she was asked what he did and she responded “he had a gun and pointed at some people and asked for stuff”

They expected to overpower the female homeowner since they were armed with a gun. The homeowner shot and DeLeTeD one of the home invaders. The family wanted a civil suit for wrongful death but weren't able to. In one interview, the family member said the deleted guy was getting money to go to college as a justification for the home invasion. The reason was based upon "how else do you expect him to get money?". So, that family considered that guy to be innocent too and the homeowner to be in the wrong. But they were still unable to sue for wrongful death (due to excessive force).
They made 8 arrests finally but they were adamant it was not a hate crime. The LVMPD chief made it a point to emphasize as such during the press conference this morning.
You can always tell when it’s not a hate crime because law enforcement goes out of their way to say it’s not a hate crime right after it happens. You know, like you do when something looks like a hate crime, and quacks like a hate crime, but uhhh isn’t a hate crime, turns out. Nothing to see here.

The part that is so brutal about what you said is that before the left wing got a hold of them, they were actually extremely family oriented and mostly devout Christians ie 30/40/50s. I have long since lost the charts but it was in the 60s that stuff just went screaming downhill for them. It was extremely shocking to see how in a single generation they more or less completely collapsed. You did see a bit of a revival in the 90s but then it did not last.

What shocks me the most is how people are shocked by this at all. It's so telling to me. It tells me that if you're surprised by this event, you've never lived around large numbers of "minorities" before. There's a reason some of us are openly racist. On a animalistic survival impulses yes. However to make a humane world its more complicated. I'm not advocating whatsoever though normally Hispanic and black communities have kids like this because being raised right in ghettos and such would make them victims. That n plethora of other issues like poverty, no culture, democratic preying and so on...... So to have a melting pot of any degree work you need everyone having the same general humane standards. I think the world would do best with each race having their own nation and there be specific smaller areas that go more into melting pots. Every race needs their own defenders to an extent. The fact is racism n slavery can be brought back as a tool to enslave any race or group. So having a fascist group for each race is needed while also keeping them still enlightened as why they need those defenders instead of just letting it be racism. Which is just hate of another. Don't need hate to understand why being fascist for your peoples survival and security rather than dominance is needed. Tbh I believe specific white races are the only ones who will be able to implement that kind of racial philosophy. Everyone else has bn too corrupted with a smokescreen and hate.

Mexicans move slightly north as well..... That would leave the possibility of the positive white philosophies of autonomy, freedom, god given rights and such to be implemented in the systems that eventually run the world..... If not I believe their tactics will inevitably work in time and we will have to destroy the world and inhabit Mars..... Ik insanity will have to reign to progress sciences and such. Ik at some point we'll be made to worship people pretending to be God's using science...... My biggest concern is making sure that when those things possibly come to pass no matter what it isn't the end of our species..... I have lived in Las Vegas for a long time. It's never been perfect, far from it, but in the last few years the problems we've had have gotten worse and worse. This city is crumbling.
I’ve lived in Vegas for 4 years. The outskirts are lovely, new Henderson, Summerlin etc. but Vegas proper is just a depressing sht hole tbh. Idk, the vibe of this city is just weird. Homeless people everywhere, rampant drug use. I can’t even walk my dog without feeling worried some nutter is going to assault me. I’ve had tweakers menace and threaten me before. I think a lot of the issues stem from Californians moving out here, many to escape gang violence and to better themselves but they end up just bringing the violence with them. I dont really have room to talk though because I moved from CA for a fresh start to get away from my drug problems back home (which has actually worked since I don’t know anyone out here and I stick to myself outside of work). Can’t wait to get out of here tbh. Big cities in general are just depressing. I’d take a quiet life out in the country over this any day.
Imagine how the little boy he was defending feels like now. He knows those black kids killed the boy who stood up for him... he has no one now... Imagine the trauma of that too... plus his life is in danger as well. 😢
I live in Vegas, and we've seen an increase in gang related activity and theft in the NW in recent years. My kids have also reported a surge in brutal fights in the middle schools and high schools.
Can you imagine how fast this kid would’ve been arrested if he’d been armed with a knife or ‘something’ and used it to defend himself? Even if he didn’t have to do anything more than brandish it? He’d be convicted and in prison by next week.
This one was especially hard to watch. The photo of the father sitting by his dying son's bedside was absolutely brutal. Man... I pray to God that justice is swift and harsh. I can remember 92 at 4yrs old the "Rodney King" beating and trial which led to the 92 riots.and,the media portraying him as some random black guy assaulted by LAPD for no reason. But,learning as I got older that was far from what happened. The O.J trial in 95 and how logically nthin made sense about the case. From his behavior in the "Bronco chase" threatening to 💀 himself. Or the fact that no other suspect was ever even mentioned as the real killer of OJs wife but all the media could focus on was the corruption of LAPD and how Fuhrman was sloppy with the crime scene and weather he had ever said the "N" word🤯and how as a child the media had brainwashed me and my parents to focus on these inconsequential things when anybody of color did something damning. When I was in middle school, I attended a mostly black school. It was an almost daily occurrence of a small group of black kids jumping white classmates after school. The first time I got jumped, I got a week suspension due to the schools zero tolerance policy. Even though I didn't initiate and barely had any ability to fight back, it was still considered a violation of the policy. The black kids did not get suspended because the school determined they were already too far behind in their studies from previous suspensions and didn't want them to fall further behind. When I returned to school after my suspension, I was jumped again for snitching. I remember my parents trying to take this issue to school boards and journalists. Everything about it was completely ignored, and this was back in 2006. I can't imagine what it's like for some of these kids now.

I grew up in Section 8 housing until I was 16 and my mother worked very hard to get us out. I was The only white kid that rode my school bus and was constantly harassed by the AA residents and students. They used to chase me after getting off the bus all the way to my door, they broke my ankle with a bat one time while chasing me. My school said there was nothing they could do, and there were days they would stand outside my apartment with weapons just slamming on the door. When that happened I would be shaking at my door with a kitchen knife praying the door would hold.
So glad I’m not in that kinda area anymore.

I was jumped by around 10 to 15 black students in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 2003. I thought I was going to die and passed out. A random citizen came up in his car armed and saved my life. The incident happened near the same area as the incident of this victim. It's sad to say this is part of the culture in Las Vegas. I can't believe no one came and helped this boy. Now this boy's family has to deal with the loss of their son.

Vegas resident here. Yes, CBS8 is our local affiliate. And there have been arrests. At least four of the assailants have been transferred from juvenile detention to county jail.
Not gonna lie. This one got to me. As a father of two boys, hearing the dad speak, coupled with AJW’s comment that he “raised his kid right” and that was what cost him his life…dang. I’ll be hugging my boys a little tighter today.

Reminds me of a story I heard a while back of a girl trying to explain why he boyfriend was in jail. She said he was innocent, she was asked what he did and she responded “he had a gun and pointed at some people and asked for stuff”

They expected to overpower the female homeowner since they were armed with a gun. The homeowner shot and DeLeTeD one of the home invaders. The family wanted a civil suit for wrongful death but weren't able to. In one interview, the family member said the deleted guy was getting money to go to college as a justification for the home invasion. The reason was based upon "how else do you expect him to get money?". So, that family considered that guy to be innocent too and the homeowner to be in the wrong. But they were still unable to sue for wrongful death (due to excessive force).

You can always tell when it’s not a hate crime because law enforcement goes out of their way to say it’s not a hate crime right after it happens. You know, like you do when something looks like a hate crime, and quacks like a hate crime, but uhhh isn’t a hate crime, turns out. Nothing to see here.

The part that is so brutal about what you said is that before the left wing got a hold of them, they were actually extremely family oriented and mostly devout Christians ie 30/40/50s. I have long since lost the charts but it was in the 60s that stuff just went screaming downhill for them. It was extremely shocking to see how in a single generation they more or less completely collapsed.
You did see a bit of a revival in the 90s but then it did not last.

What shocks me the most is how people are shocked by this at all. It's so telling to me. It tells me that if you're surprised by this event, you've never lived around large numbers of "minorities" before.

I have lived in Las Vegas for a long time. It's never been perfect, far from it, but in the last few years the problems we've had have gotten worse and worse. This city is crumbling.
I’ve lived in Vegas for 4 years. The outskirts are lovely, new Henderson, Summerlin etc. but Vegas proper is just a depressing sht hole tbh. Idk, the vibe of this city is just weird. Homeless people everywhere, rampant drug use. I can’t even walk my dog without feeling worried some nutter is going to assault me. I’ve had tweakers menace and threaten me before. I think a lot of the issues stem from Californians moving out here, many to escape gang violence and to better themselves but they end up just bringing the violence with them. I dont really have room to talk though because I moved from CA for a fresh start to get away from my drug problems back home (which has actually worked since I don’t know anyone out here and I stick to myself outside of work). Can’t wait to get out of here tbh. Big cities in general are just depressing. I’d take a quiet life out in the country over this any day.

I live in Vegas, and we've seen an increase in gang related activity and theft in the NW in recent years. My kids have also reported a surge in brutal fights in the middle schools and high schools.

I do have an interest in this story, and not just because the victim has the same name as me. The choice NOT to report a story is also a choice to sway public opinion, which is why many news outlets simply ignore it entirely. As a black man who grew up in the 90s i feel like my whole life and everything I believed growing up was a lie. I can remember 92 at 4yrs old the "Rodney King" beating and trial which led to the 92 riots.and,the media portraying him as some random black guy assaulted by LAPD for no reason. But,learning as I got older that was far from what happened. The O.J trial in 95 and how logically nthin made sense about the case. From his behavior in the "Bronco chase" threatening to 💀 himself. Or the fact that no other suspect was ever even mentioned as the real killer of OJs wife but all the media could focus on was the corruption of LAPD and how Fuhrman was sloppy with the crime scene and weather he had ever said the "N" word🤯and how as a child the media had brainwashed me and my parents to focus on these inconsequential things when anybody of color did something damning.
