Well explained. I listened to a pod cast by the creator of 75 hard and he said adding the reading and water min. Was specifically designed to make the program harder simply to create that lifestyle transformation for any one who truly completes the program to the letter. I love the idea and am a huge believer I had a district manager 15 years ago and he correlated the majority of his success to habit. He structured his day with military precision. You would find him doing the exact same thing at the exact same time daily and he would simply say routine breeds efficiency.
Yes, it does - like anything though it’s about balance - if everything is like that you develop habituation and life can pass you by…! It’s about making the things you don’t want to do, need doing regularly and that are tough into habits - frictionless and effortless - but hopefully that frees up the time (and physically enabled you to) live your life in a present way by doing the things you love, are internally motivated for and really experiencing life. Does that make sense?
@@1stElement it does make sense I can see how too much structure enter-fears with life. Like you kid has a soccer game at 2 on Saturday but of my day routine puts me at work or on the bike at that time, and I can’t pivot then it’s caused me to miss an experience and a bonding opportunity with them, however small or large that may have been. So yeah it’s a good point I know you’ve mentioned the frictionless before from atomic habits I believe, and it’s so true the easier it is to begin the more likely you are to start and of coarse finish.
So, who’s up for it..?
Yeah, thanks for getting me on this. Day 11 & suffering like hell!!!!
Oh no, mate… sorry..!! At least there’s no 30 milers at the end of it..!!
