I’ll send a prize to the first person who can decipher what the Surrealist says at 8:36

As you know, my life runs on a schedule. When it isnt training sessions, it is work appointments that come in either 30min or 45min slots. Constantly looking forward to how I was fitting in the next thing into my schedule. None of that became more clear to me until 10wks ago when my grandma died. She was unwell and we did expect it this year most likely, but none of my family expected her passing the morning she went. Eating her breakfast, chatting happily, then 30min later...gone. In that moment, and in the days that followed, it felt like my world stopped turning. All that was left was the moment I was in. Of course over the past weeks life has returned to "normal" but it is a different normal, and I am continually reminded to be more in the now.

I get the feeling your Nan knew this too - chatting happily over breakfast - enjoying the moment. Sometimes you have to give yourself a little reminder, a little memory jog to be back in that place - but that sounds like a profound moment, Jenny.

To you too, brother - take it all in - it’s all happening all the time around us - take it for granted and you’ll regret it!

I’m sorry to hear about your tough time man - you know, it’s not always helpful but ‘everything passes’ and it is true… find something each hour to appreciate and things seem brighter. And yeah - sorry, you got ‘trouser’ right…!!
