after watching many rearhubvideos to fix a problem mine seems to have, this is the first video showing how to demontage the casing that holds the cassette, tnx man, i know what to expect now;)
It really is. You would think more people would have done a video on this. I think most people just shell out a couple hundred for a new wheel.
great video . simple and effective.
Good work!
Nice!
Thanks ❤️

So getting into the freehub, you were hammering the inner clockwise to loosen?

It is important that you did it yourself.
Hi What did you do with the underlay at 09:23 ? Did you take one away?
yes to stop it wobble and need to check it stuck if stuck we need to put it back the ring
@@PoleakTonethVlog Thanks
too much music remove it would make it better
Noted With Thanks
How long did it take to clear up that mess??
1h
Cant get thing at 7:29 off no matter how many times i hit it
There is a special key to remove that part. It doesn't cost more than $5.
The music is too loud.... we can't hear everything you say.
What's with the music I'm here to learn not to listen to music I didn't learn very much are thumbs-down sorry
It's a $20 freehub body. Unless you're stranded on a deserted island, it's not worth the work.
Why ? you learn how to maintain a freehub and you don't throw away a good freehub.
@@Yokssama Even a brand new Shimano freehub isn't a "good" freehub. They fail often under hard use (compared to Chris King etc.) and they're meant to be replaced. Yes, if a replacement isn't available, give it a try, but if it failed it probably needs some part replaced.
