"Linda Hunt is so perfect she doesn't even need a photoshop." You said it, Ser. I laughed as I thought the same thing. Tommy Lee Jones was also a bullseye.
While he would work, another alternate would be Patrick Wilson, who while has been known for playing horror/triller movie characters has played Nite Owl in Watchmen who was a retired superhero and in more softer characters like in Little Children, A Gifted Man and Fargo.
I think it would be interesting to see who you’d cast for LAIKA animations movies (Coraline, Kubo and the two strings, Paranorman, etc..) If they were remade into live action.
I actually thought Tommy Lee Jones was Rick for the longest time when I was little, because the character was so clearly modeled after him. A+++, would love to see your thoughts on some Disney movies that *could* benefit from a live-action remake, like Atlantis or Treasure Planet.
I personally dream cast Linda Cardellini as Elastigirl. I think she is perfect for the role since she has played the mother type in many movies including the wife for Hawkeye in the MCU. Also, she really really looks the part, her voice sounds just like Elastigirl’s, and the age lines up perfectly with David Harbor since Harbor is 46 and Linda is 45.
Also: please do the Chronicles of Narnia! All 7 books (some of which aren't movies at all yet) if they were to make them now, as well as recasting the main cast of those that already have movies. :)

It’s so random to see Thomason Mackenzie getting recognised in Hollywood I remember watching her death scene on a New Zealand hospital soap and thinking “wtf? This person can actually act!”
Oh I thought she was a kiwi thinking yeah she must be a kiwi but I don't recall her shorty character (because pretty much every kiwi actor has been on shorty) she's actually quite a good actress I hope she continues to go far.
I still want you to keep doing the Disney ones, but shows I would love to see casting videos on are The Legend of Korra, Steven Universe, and She-Ra and the Princesses of Power.
I haven't seen David Harbour in anything but the Black Widow trailer and the Stranger Things clips you showed, but you sold me on him as Mr. Incredible.
Oh man, I know Stranger Things isn't necessarily everyone's cup of tea, but honestly he is my absolute fave in that show! You should at least check out the first handful of episodes if you can, just for his character development :) (And I would say the first season wraps up pretty well as kind of a stand-alone if you don't want to watch the whole show.)
And the most ironic thing is that she is not into superhero movies and is not pursuing these roles. That atleast came out of one not so distant interview where the interviewer was of course banging on the fan casting of her as Sue Richards.
I doubt DreamWorks would do love action remakes but I'd be interested to see who'd you pick for some of their movies,bPrince of Egypt and How to train you Dragon I could see working well. Also maybe cast Big Hero 6 for the MCU.
I enjoyed everyone’s casting(especially Syndrome) but I think Mariah Carey would be a really good Mirage, she has the sultry voice and is a phenomenal actress

Linda hunt will kill it as Edna. When I watched the animated movie I was wondering if she vocied edna's character but I was wrong, I live in Greece and animated movies are translated. Cameron for Sintrome is also perfect. And I think Tommy Lee Jones looks so much like Rick.
You should recast The Hunchback of Notre Dame, a remake that has a lot of potential to be good. As long as they don't do those stupid gargoyles. Also, you should recast Spider-Man.
Linda Hunt was *born* to be Edna Mode. David Harbour is perfect for Bob. I had not considered Tommy Lee Jones but you are right. Good calls all around.
I love David Harbour for Bob, but I think another excellent choice would be Eric Allen Kramer I mean not only would he be able to play the part perfect but he actually kinda looks like the character as well
After watching Black Widow and seeing David Harbour's character reminisce about the glory days, it makes the case stronger for him to play Mr. Incredible. Him or Eric Allan Kramer of course
I was so shocked when you said Jamie Fox. I thought for sure you were gonna say Anthony Mackie. He’s everything you said plus he has the height, wit, and tiny front tooth gap.
This might be some kinda unpopular bordering on sacrilege, and I myself would prefer a different story set in the same setting, but I would be interested in seeing your recasting of a "Firefly" reboot. Right off the top of my head I'd say... Andrew Koji ("Warrior" series, upcoming "Snake Eyes" movie) as Malcolm Reynolds, Katy O'Brian ("Z-Nation", "Black Lightning", "Mandalorian") as Jane Cobb, Jeremy Irvine ("Warhorse", "Great Expectations") as Simon Tam, and Lola Flannery ("The 100", "Shadowhunters",) as River Tam.
Nah, another perfect set of casting from you. Most of them I guessed before you said it, but then I saw Syndrome, and yeah. Absolutely agree. One of the greatest young actors working today. He has had some great roles and really been a standout performance in just about everything I’ve seen him in.
@BryanSeeker i would love to see how you would recast the 1984 Ghostbusters for a modern audiance. i have made my own cast for some of the charaters ( Matt bomber as Peter Venkman, Christopher patrick Simpson as Ray Stantz, John renolyds as Egon Spengler, Micheal Chea as Winston Zeddemore, Mellissa rauch as Janine Melnitz, and Christopher Minz Plaza as Louis Tully.) i would like to know what you think of this cast and what you would if you casted the Ghostbusters. i'll be very interested in what choices you would make.
Looking at Rick in the actual Incredibles movie, I wouldn't be surprised if the artist turned around and said they modeled the character's appearance on Tommy Lee Jones
I’d absolutely love to see your ideas for casting a new Mortal Kombat movie. Hopefully one including Johnny and Kitana, maybe even Jade and Sindel if you’re feeling CRAZY
Dude your fan castings are always S tier. Think you can do a fan casting of a Final Fantasy 7 movie? I think it can be dope. I got a fan cast for Barret and Aerith and I kinda got one for Cloud.
As a rule, I'd rather have remakes of movies, that didn't do well, or that weren't as good as they could've been. Remaking something, that is pretty much perfect as it is, that hasn't really given us any improvements to the formula. Of Disney's Live Action remakes, the only one I find actually better, than the original, is Cinderella, mostly because it recontextualizes a lot of what happens there, and it turns the fairytale archetypes into actual characters. So, what I'd actually think could work better in Live Action, with current tech, Atlantis and Treasure Planet. Both are fine movies, but they just didn't really live up to the others.
Great choices, although, if they remade it, I hope they'll use another original villain, because we all know and love the animated Syndrome, but reusing him again wouldn't probably work.
‘He’s super cool.’ ‘It would be an incredibly difficult performance to pull off.’ Did...you just slide in a subtle pun for Frozone there?? And then the entire movie? Thought we wouldn’t notice, but we did
MAN you are good at this! I literally reacted out loud to your Frozone, Rick, and Syndrome picks because of how good they were. But all of these were great. Nice job!
I don't know if you'll cover any kind of show... But I would LOVE to see you do one on Danny Phantom from Nicelodeon! It was one of my favorite shows as a kid, and you really do your research on actors to fill the rolls of their characters. I really would love to see what you do with Danny and the gang
Actually just hopped on to make a suggestion: live-action ‘Gargoyles’ cast. Because that would make an epic franchise if done correctly. Been feeling nostalgic lately... Anyways, excited to see your Incredibles cast!
I was definitely surprised by who you chosen for frozone and it’s perfect, specially since Jamie will add some of his own charm and not be a replica of the live action but add some difference. And Linda Hunt is perfection Also I do wanna see you cast the dc heroes and villains specially the league of shadows, injustice league, legion of doom or even more female villains and heroes like lady shiva, Nyssa, Rose Wilson, raven, starfire, zatanna, black canary, livewire, killer Frost, and definitely supergirl and Powergirl
