  • The all-new Wacom One Creative Pen Display is the latest entry-level drawing tablet from Wacom. But is it the ultimate drawing tablet? We gave it a go on one of our latest illustrates to see how it compares to the higher end Wacom Cintiq. The results were pretty surprising. The small 13.3" display allows for a slightly portable drawing tablet in comparison to the other Cintiq models and at a fraction of the price. This tablet might be the right step for Wacom tablets.
    BREAKTHROUGH! Thanks for watching!

    For The Wacom one I’m pretty sure it doesn’t need to be used with a glove thing (if you were using it so your hand doesn’t mess it up)

      None of the Wacom products need the glove in order to use it. But the glove help reduces friction.

    Thanks for this review! It was helpful. The feel is still the same between tablets. The thing I dislike about Wacom is the expensive price , while XP-Pen and other brands has way better in term stability (Win 10).
    XP-Pen’s build quality in recent devices ( Artist 12 / 13.3 /15.6 Pro ) seems really good . Fully-laminated screen , shortcut keys , 60 degrees of tilt function .
    Hardware durability, both Wacom and XP-Pen has quite similar using time, as about 4 years, the standard life time for an electronic device.

      I agree the price is a bit steep. But the quality is good. I would think about it as an investment. Wacom is one of the leading brands in the design industry. But definitely try one before buying it.

    Also, why does wacom not sell screen protectors??

    I recently order this one and waiting for it to come finally, I'm only concerned about colors of the display and how will they affect the illustration, because I don't have a good PC monitor, what's the trick to get good colors and not mess up the illustration?

      I research this gamut
      72%ntsc is equal to 99%srgb
      Its standard color range for illustration and photo editing for beginner
      Note..
      72%ntsc = 99%srgb
      DCI P3 (more red) = Adobe rgb (more green)
      And Huion Kamvas advertising 120-140%srgb its like equal to 80%ntsc

    I need help I recently bought a Wacom One tablet, but the display screen doesn't want to turn on for the life of me! When I use the pen on it the cursor on my laptop moves, but the screen on the tablet is still black. No matter how many times I change the power adapter, or push the power button, it doesn't want to turn on. I spent a lot of money on it and I don't want to feel like I wasted it.

      In terms of functionality and color accuracy (of the display), no.
      Don't make that turn you off though. I've seen artists make incredible art using a cheap, old wacom bamboo.

    • @TheCreativePain

      I think the durability is great. I would only make sure if mobility is something that concerns you.

    • @TheCreativePain
      @TheCreativePain  4 роки тому +4

      @The Laughing ManThe most critical factors about the Wacom One, is the smaller screen and lower price. This is key to comparing it to other Wacom screens such as the Wacom Cintiq displays (which are top of the line for these kinds of uses), but these displays lack mobility and affordability. That's the real comparison, you can't compare the two to an Ipad. It's just too different. An iPad its using apps and doesn't have full versions of the Adobe software, which is very important to an artist or designer.
      What I will say is the Wacom brand is one of the leading brands behind drawing tablets. I haven't seen any other brand that compares. I do agree that Wacom prices are always too high, but the quality is excellent.

  • @waifurst
    @waifurst 4 роки тому +1

    I've been on the fence lately of whether I should get a Wacom one or a Huion 16 pro. Both are the same price but the Huion seems to offer a lot more features and better specs. At the same time, the Wacom is a WACOM tablet and their display tablets have never been this cheap. Sounds illogical but I'm genuinely on the fence about this one...

    • @waifurst

    • @TheCreativePain

      I dont know enough about Huion tablets. I've only used Wacom brand. I would definitely look into it if you're on the fence. Wacom has been pretty solid in my experience and is one of the leading branding in the industry for drawing tablets.

    • @TheCreativePain
      @TheCreativePain  4 роки тому +1

      Have you used the Wacom One? I'm only saying that you can't compare it to an ipad. Otherwise the Huion and Wacom just seems like a brand preference.

    • @szenokkie8997
      @szenokkie8997 3 роки тому +4

      I know this comment is 7 months old but through research and digging, huion doesnt have good quality control in terms of screen tabs. Its infamous for the stylus and cursor not aligning and the drivers itself not working. And in my opinion, wacom is well known for a reason. It lasts longer and its reliable and trustworthy.With huion, you have to worry about defects more often that wacom since wacom is one of the leading companies in the industry.
