I use the Wacom ONE with my android phone and a docking station. I have a small TKL keyboard with me, and so I can carry my wacom ONE to a friends house with ease, without having to carry an additional laptop. All I need is the tablet, my phone and the small docking station, as well as the small tkl keyboard. It is slick, easy and so fast to setup. And since I dont own a laptop, and the ones that I want are too expensive, this setup works super well.

Your review of the small Wacom Intuos (perfect size , BTW) convinced me to get that (and I did), but I just could not get used to keeping my eyes on the vertical screen while my hand was drawing on the horizontal tablet. And I noticed, you are drawing things here with speed and accuracy that is much greater than you did with the Intuos. I wish it was cheaper, but I'm going to spend some more and get this one which is more like pen and paper drawing.

Teoh, another great video mate thank you. Question - Is it possible to take what Im seeing on screen on the Wacom tablet and have that reflected on my laptop screen? I do a lot of coaching and want to show visual diagrams etc to students via Zoom (video conferencing)

You do fantastic reviews, as good as Lisa, which is why I watch you both! I heard wacom tabs have pixel problems when using them for a while. Have you noted any problems, and if so, what tab do you recommend from them for long term use? I am an pro artist needing a pad for art for printing etc. Thank you!

Thank you:) . I am looking at getting the new Huion 16 pro 2020 version. Instead of wacom, yet people tell me only buy Wacom! Not sue they r worth the very high cost of them here in Canada even though I do pro work! This is a major investment for me...

You'll probably end up with more than 1 tablet. I view them the same as pads of drawing paper. I own this one, I plan on picking up the mac mini and apple pencil, as well as the massive huion 22. They all are at the $400.00 price point. Also you can purchase this through Best Buy using the Klarna app. That way you can purchase it using 4 payments. Interest free. Payments are processed every 2 weeks.

I think i will order the pen on its own to see if it can compliment the samsing devices (mostly for notetaking). And it is a lil cheaper than the lamy emr i am eying 🤔

If I remember correctly, there are models of Samsung Galaxy Tab A with S Pen and some without. Those models that don't already come with S Pen will not support S Pen. As for drawing performance, you can check out my artist reviews for Tab S3, S4, S6. Drawing performance is similar

I bought myself a Huion Kamvas Pro 20 (2019) myself. I find it perfect for the money I spent on it.
My xp pen broke after one day of usage and it was brand new, it seems half of xp pens consumers get experience ruining problems, literally no signal on screen. There support is awful, me and many other s found ourselves tearing our hair out over a solution and it turns out there isn't one, it's pathetic and my nan can give better customer support than xp pen. Point being, please research problems and don't buy from xp pen, it's daunting

Since we now have an "affordable" display tablet from Wacom I think it is time to start holding Huion and XP-PEN - maybe not Gaomon or Artisul - to the pen precision level of a wacom. I have a Huion Kamvas Pro 13.3 and I was very disapointed with the precision inicially. After a driver update released more than a year after the product release the calibration got better, but that is not something I was happy to discover by myself after receiving the product. Huion themselves advertise a precison for the center of the screen and another one for the edges of the screen. I'm thinking about "upgrading" to the new Huion Kamvas 13 that supposedly has a more precise pen - p517. Could you please report in your future review if the "upgrade" from Huion to Huion is worth the annoyance.

Great review! Could you please check if the Wacom one pen works with samsung tablets? It's hard finding a replacement to the s pen where I live and if this pen works, it would be amazing
Wacom is the company that licenses out their pen technology to other manufacturers. So its a good chance it could work.

I was new to this kind of stuff so I didn’t understand why I wasn’t getting a display on the wacom screen but was still able to use the cursor. But since you want to be a smart ass why don’t you answer Imanes question instead of my comment, which also was about nobody responding to his question. Otherwise piss off

Excellent! I want to expand a young one's abilities and through reading, see that these are not standalone items - need to connect to computer/laptop and software located there. In this tutorial, what color drawing software is being used? To have a true standalone experience, I suppose a Surface Pro or such is required?

What software is the one in the video? Following up question, any way to tell if it is compatible with Dell Latitude Laptop E7250?
Does it over heat? Or does it emanates a lot of heat? I have a Cintiq wx12 and it heats quite a lot i have to turn it off to let it cool down...(since i don't want it to break or stop working TnT)
Always enjoy your videos. Quick question. Does this tablet use PWM? I really want one but can't use it if they still use PWM.
I did not test for PWM so I can't say for sure. It's IPS panel and most monitors with IPS usually don't have PWM

Hi Teoh, I always watch your videos before making a decision :) Did you find any color display issue with the Wacom One? I heard this product is not much for digital artwork or color accuracy, is that correct?
The colours looked alright. I measured 92% sRGB so that’s good enough.

Hello Teoh! i think it would be a good video about reviewing different kind of ultrawide monitors.
To me it keeps unclear based on the non artist reviews out there if curved monitors have an effective way to prevent inaccuracy or are the flat ones difficult for artists because of a different aspect of the experience.

Question! Just installed Wacom One and I have Clip Studio installed with a new account. How do I get the software to display on my tablet? It's only on my PC. I don't know much about this stuff, trying to help my daughter get set-up!
Is anything showing on the Wacom display? What's showing on the Wacom display? You can just drag the software by the window over to the Wacom.

Since the surface of this one is easily scratched , can one put a protective cover on it, or does it loose even more brightness? I hear it is pretty low on this unit.
It will not lose brightness. But I don’t think scratches is a big deal. Scratches mean you draw a lot, which is a good thing.
Thank you for the video Teoh! I'm considering on getting this, but since it doesn't have the finger gesture touch function, how do you zoom in and out easily besides using keyboard/mouse? To add on, is the brightness issue very serious?

My wacom one fails to perform like you have highlighted. I'm using Mac probook mid 2012. Could it be that the softwares ain't installed on the laptop? How can I connect the tablet to my phone? Can I mirror it onto the projector?

I got one of these Wacom One and it won't work. I downloaded the drivers and all, but I get a communication error. I went to their support site but it's totally unmanageable. Apparently, their live tech support is available one day a week.

can I access any software I have on the laptop..or do I need specific software that is compatible with the wacom? Can I access and use software like Affinity designer/photo, photoshop, illustrator etc??

Is only one side of the pen supposed to click? My new pen looks like just the top of the pen clicks, and the bottom seems stuck. Unless it's supposed to be that way? IDK! help
Teoh Yi Chie, can you tell me how to hide or disable the mouse pointer cursor that is always there with the pen nib. I want the pen to work as a pen only and not a cursor. It makes me open and clicks unwanted applications while I draw. I use it with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Whiteboard.
I don't know how to disable it. It must be disabled with Windows.

Which art apps are your favorite? Does you choice change if you use macOS/windows os for said app instead?
I like Clip Studio Paint for drawing on MacOS and Windows. On the tablet, I prefer Procreate (iPad only), Concepts and Medibang Paint Pro

They are quite similar. You can get either. Wacom driver, at the time I tested, doesn't have display switch so it's not as useful when you have dual monitor setup.

they’re both fine. but wacom lasts longer. i heard from people that huion has a lot of issues, it’s like a gamble buying it, you get a display with issues or one that works fine that breaks after a year or two. i’d personally buy wacom after reading the reviews of huion

Deng. You might be disappointed. I love Wacom but unless you fit into their box of artist types, like Straights in Christendom , you may not get what you're looking for.

Hi, I've had this display tablet and it works just fine as I expected.
Anyhow, I am having trouble to change the brightness setting of this display, on my mac os. It just showing, "Compatible display device not found".
Can this display tablet brightness be configured or not??
It can but through the software. There are two software/driver installed. One of them can adjust the brightness

Not sure what you are asking. Just imagine this Wacom as a computer monitor, and does what a computer monitor does

Les_ Hauts Hi Les.... if I may chime in here... I use an XP-Pen which is much cheaper than Wacom. It might not be quite the build quality of a Wacom, but I can still produce quality professional work. Also Huion is a good product and much more affordable than Wacom. If you do a search there are quite a few brands now coming out with display drawing tablets.

Look for tablets on eBay too. Sometimes you can get them for way cheaper than on something like amazon. I got my XP-Pen Deco Pro for 90 dollars instead of 120 on there. Haven’t had any problems with it.

I’m stuck between the decision of buying this Wacom One tablet or the Huion Kamvas 13. What concerns me most is the durability. Can anyone help me please? 🥺
I've had a Wacom graphics tablet (not display) for 10+ years and it still works perfectly. I haven't had a Huion or XP Pen but I've heard complains about durability over and over again. I'd personally go with the Wacom, altho it is more expensive the plus of being super durable makes it much more worth it imo.

It's the typical latency of pen displays
Its because the pen went farther from the screen, I wouldn’t call it a delay.

The specs are nice, except for the brightness, it is a bit darker and the colors opaque. It looks great on your video but not in person at the store : / maybe is the configuration.

Hello, between wacom one and xppen 13.3pro which one is better?
Wacom is more durable and more sensitive, but more expensive, and Xp pen on the other side is less durable and less sensitive (watch marc’s review to know what I’m talking about), but less expensive. It’s your choice in the end, but I’d personally go with the Wacom.
Can you please please help me with this problem I am having? I’m getting no answers at all:(( I recently got this tablet got my Mac book and I even installed clip studio paint. How do I get it to show on my screen. Nothing is on my screen except for my wallpaper on the tablet. Even when I have it open on my laptop, it just doesn’t show on the tablet. Please please tell me how I can fix it

@@Indestructibleworm ah, I can probably help you, I finally figured it out :’) So basically you go to system preferences and click display, there should be an option that says “mirror”. make sure you put it on “mirror” and not “extend”. Then it should pop up on your tablet!

Do you think which one is better on parallax and precision of the pen: wacon one or Huion Kamvas pro 16? Here in brazil, the price betwwen those two is less than to cintiq 16, but I'm really worried about this issue and color calibration in this products. Thanks a lot for the video!!

Hi i own a wacom intuos , if i am to get a wacom one , can i connect both of them to my pc and use them at the same time?
The pen can't be used at the same time unless you can draw with both hands. But even if you can draw with both hands, only one pen will control the stylus. But yes you can connect both to your computer.

I think it's worth the $399, especially for noobs.
Conclusion..... get a Huion or XP-Pen for half price with express keys and 2 buttons on the pen. There's nothing that warrant double the price here.
Agreed! I'm about to buy my 3rd Huion tablet and I don't think the price difference is worth it. I have had trouble with drivers and such with Huion but honestly it's just a bit of struggle when you get/install the tablet but then you're good until you change computers! Apart from that, the rest are details to me and don't justify doubling the prices. I would understand if prices were slightly above but not more.
(Side note: my 2 previous tablets are still working perfectly fine! I'm looking for a 3rd tablet that I can carry around because my others are too big for traveling but the oldest is now 5 or 6 years old and they're still working.)

i have a huion kamvas 191 v2 and it works great
you better off spend full price worry free, rather than buying product half the price, but the risk margin is unimaginable.

Hi teoh! Did you actually notice the parallax on wacom one?
It's a laminated display so there's no parallax. That and parallax is less of an issue on smaller displays.
@@teohyc Oh, haha! I didn't know what laminated display really was, but I just purchased this Wacom One because Wacom Cintiq 16 doesn't fit on my desktop. I must say that I like it! I've been using Intuos Pro, it still works but having this pen display is nice! Thank you for the review!
