I am a little but late for this but, I called wacom’s Wuac-ums. It sounds closer to Japanese when you say it like that. I learned Japanese for 4 years in high school and I know that in japanese it is called: ワコム (Wacom). But, it is pronounce wa (short a sound like a “o”) co (or ko when translated and it sounds like a long o sound) and m (or mu when translated and it sounds like, well, a cow going “moo.” But, shortened.) :)
Im afraid you forgot to mention about the cables. That this tablet has to plugged to power source and also the cpu. That’s what makes it less portable than it sounds
Exactly. No idea why no one has EVER mentioned the cables in their reviews. I can't understand how ''Wacom'' made such a stupid mistake in 2020; a portable device that can't be operated wirelessly ?? I don't know what to do with mine right now T_T very disappointed.
@@-.-3855 I prefer to say it's "semi" portable. Yes you can move around with it, but remember there are cables plugged between the tablet, cpu, and power source
11:45 theres also a massive difference in price from the 1080p to the 4k offerings you fail to mention here. For my specific buying situation, im looking at this for my son. Hes very serious about his art and animation ect. So were looking at getting one of these here shortly for his birthday. A 4k offering would be Way out of the price range I would say is acceptable for a younger kid to play with. I couldnt imagine paying 3600 for one to let him go nuts with, however 400 is much more reasonable.
It's not suitable for travel at all... There's so much cables. 1 wall plug that it needs in order to work as it doesn't have its own power supply, 1 USB into your PC, 1 HDMI into your pc and then the cable into the tablet itself.
I've always called them 'WAY COME' I honestly don't know why but am quite happy with this. That being said I hope this is ok thanks for everything you do.
Thanks man, I was trying to see if I wanted to get this tablet or something else, and your video convinced me that it’s a good fit for me. Will probably order in the next few days, thanks!
Hello I never had this kind of tablet before. I have a question, since you plug it into the computer and it works as a monitor that you can draw on, does it work like having two monitors? As in, you can draw on the tablet and then on your actual computer monitor you can have references open? Or are both of the monitors showing the same thing?
It should work as a second monitor if you use the correct display settings on your computer “extend display” vs “duplicate display” most tablets of this kind work like this.
I bought a Wacom Intuos Pen tablet (small) but its so hard for me to draw while I'm looking up at the monitor. I am thinking about returning it and investing into Wacom One Display. Should I just keep the intuos and learn to get use to it or buy the Wacom One Display?
