    Most Bantu languages sound so smooth and melodic. I hadn't heard Shona before, and it is even more pleasant than other Bantu languages that I had already heard. Thanks for this great opportunity to hear this language in a longer and more casual sample.

      Look up tone languages (if you haven't already) and you will see why Bantu languages sound melodic =)

    My first time, that I hear Shona...
    Lots of vokals, smooth melody, and at the same time with precise 'structure'. I mean, not like, for example, French, where you can't identify, where one word ends and the next word begins.
    Flattering to the ears, so I enjoy it to hear!

    Shona is a word I'm my language and it kinda means like "bestie" but in like a funny ish way and now I wanna learn the language just coz of that lmao

    In my language the word Shona means gold

      its been hypothesised that the word came from and Indian language as they would reference the abundance of gold in Zimbabwe

    I understood some words it has a lot of the same words as swahili (yako yangu baba shauri, shukuru, etc.)

    This language sounds much more beautiful than most of other languages of Africa
