The woman in black tights is the star of the show, l mean she was outstanding, and so were the ngungu beaters. It would be more interesting if the dancers were shown in full as there is so much importance and emphasis of the whole body coordination and movement in this dance. so the video shoot kind of let them down. Men are normally excellent dancers but not in this case.

they are hybreeds of ndebeles who are mostly zulus who migrated from zululand with mzililkazi enroute some sotho were taken from the free state and lesotho and some tswana i the transvaal and botswana and mostly shona people the ethnic groups of botswana why are people acting confused you can very well see whn people are made up o different african ethnicities. They are similar to shanggan and ngoni people. But khalanga is a subgroup under the ndebele.People must stop acting.within this tribes made from different non related ethnicities they blend creat a new language but you can still trace their true identity via they surname.

@Eddymaf Seems some kalangas in Zimbabwe live side by side with the ndebeles judging from the use of many ndebele words and some clicks, in Botswana they adopted Tswana words not ndebele or Zulu. It's not common to find a kalanga person with Zulu/ndebele name or surname in Botswana.

However, they must not kid themselves that if the Ndebele people were to suddenly disappear from Matabeleland then the Shona people will treat them better!! Just ask the people of Binga. The Shonas are oppressing them just as much. People in Binga are proud Tonga people who know who they are and proudly speak their language but the Shonas still impose themselves.
