- Here is my personal review for the Twins Special BGVL-3 Boxing Gloves.
Pros:
-Extra padding
-Durable, can last for years
-Soft padding. Good for sparring gloves on top of heavy bag us
-Can be used for muy thai
-High quality leather
-Color choices
Cons:
-Small hand compartment
-Break-in time

I really appreciated seeing these in action...and particularly in western style boxing. I'm looking at these for mainly heavy bag work. I've heard it suggested that the wrist support isn't as good with these because they make them flexible for clinching, but it sounds like you're a big fan of the wrist support. For a low-intermediate boxer, would you recommend these or more of a pure boxing glove?

These gloves are tight, in the video i mentioned they are good for small hands.
Great review! I was tempting to purchase this but i got a slightly better deal for Fairtex breathable bag gloves, I got them in 16oz cause i heard they can have smaller hand compartments and even with my dainty wrist and baby hands i feel they might fit.
All in all loved the review and comparison after a few months of use!!

Very much so. The cushion is soft. Good protection on your hands.

My venum gloves have a very soft padding, if I hit someone they barely feel it. My opponents' gloves, full contact, katsudo, ben lee, are all harder. It's enough if he just pokes me with it and I can already feel the effect. Are the twins soft gloves?
These r pretty compact. But not the most compact. If ur trying to injure ur partner. Like ur friends gloves. Then these are not it.
My order just arrived, of course you can't try it on anywhere, just order the bgvl 3, I think it's too small for me, it's not a size for a European person... It's like hitting with my fingers instead of my thumbs, will this make the skin expand? I'm normal height, even in size.
I stated that this glove is good for small hands

Do you recommend these in 16oz? I do Muay Thai and I’m 6’0, 100kg with a bulky build
yes, I am 56kg and use 14oz for sparring, 10oz for bag/pad work
These are commonly used for muay thai though
whats your hand size bro? I'm a smaller guy around 5'8 and lean, i was thinking about going with 14 oz instead so I could use it for sparring down the line. should I stick with 12 and get different gloves later for sparring?
Mines 7.5" im 5'7. They feel really light. Tbh I would get 16 oz for sparring since the compartment on these dont change much. Its the padding that changes. And from other reviewers I've seen the 16oz event weight almost 14 oz. So I would probably buy the 16 since they may be more in tune to 14oz.
You should get 16oz for sparring. That's standard for adult males regardless of size, at most gyms.
What's the advantages of soft and dense padding?

i use them for muay thai too but i suck at it lol
@@icantfightchannel lol muay thai, kickboxing and boxing i love and teach all 3. I stick with my boxing gloves for everything striking because it keeps my hand in knuckles in the right position when I land
