Good gloves for Dutch kickboxing drills.
Great review mate, thanks!👍🏻🥊
I own both bgvl 3 and 6 and I love the bgvl 6 so much! Protects your wrist way better than the bgvl 3!
Just got the red and white one. Leather Feels plush. It's awesome. I like it a lil more deeper feeling like my fairtex but they are still good
Bro do these gloves feel good when hitting the heavybag?
@@haziqmahmood4887 yes
MMA athletes and Grapplers have frequent wrist/ hand injuries... these look ideal, twins gear cost a bit but it always worth it
I have a pair of the Twins BGLV6 boxing gloves in 16oz and the long cuff is good for blocking high kicks plus it gives you more support on the wrist and I find that they feel more comfortable than the regular Twins
Great points
Are they good for bag work?
Does the extra length on the wrist become restrictive when punching at all?
Is there gel of any kind in the knuckle area?
I got BGVL 6 today cant wait to use em
How it go?
@@ehkluhtoo2078 Great gloves.

Considering of buying these. Now I have bgvl 3…also very good glove. But got wrist pains, so a glove with good wrist support is needed. And im satisfied with twins so I dont need another brand.
These are really good for exactly that
@@FightCentralUK Good to know, thank you. Btw how do these gloves compare to the twins bgvl 11…also a model with a wristlock only more compact like the bgn?
@@justinb3846 They are very similar, one loops on the top, one loops inside. The 11 looks a bit more traditional, the 6 is a bit funky and different from a traditional glove which is personal preference but I like the 6 but it's hard to describe why. Maybe the fastening being on the inside and having an uninterupted cuff on the back favours the way I punch, I'm not entirely sure. Both are high quality proper leather gloves though and none of this PU stuff they've started bringing out
@@FightCentralUK Thank you I will try both and make a choice between those two.
Im interested, mainly blocking (a bit of extra inches down the forearm). But Thats an innovative velcro strap for Twins. Like all things new, im wondering if it can hold up. Is there much of velcro there for surface area - compared to the usual Twins.
Thats a great question. Less velcro than the normal gloves but certainly enough to do the job
Hay mate , I owe a pair of those and can say that those are great gloves . Hand fits inside very nice and tide . I have them for a few years now and been destroying them on heavy bag , pads , sparring and can surely say that they last ! Velcro still good and because of the construction of the glove your hand feels snug in them . Only minuses i can name is that loop thing on the inner side of the glove making people you spar with hate you - in clinch it hurts their ears and head in total . Also they don’t look as pretty after a few months of use - that whole pad on the outside breaks somewhere in the middle and creates a “hump” because inner padding goes only to that point but not all the way . That’s it pretty much . I had around 15-20 pairs of gloves from boxing rivals to top king , punish, fairtex , punch , ect and for the price you pay - those twins are the best ! Plus you can get pure white or customise it ☺️
Are they good for bag work?
Does the extra length on the wrist become restrictive when punching at all?
I suppose it depends on your style and what sort of work you're doing on the bag, for me personally I typically use the bag to work on power, and so I want the extra wrist support. They could be restrictive for Muay Thai clinchwork but if you just do boxing or bag work then the extra support is a benefit
For padwork the bgvl 3 is better than the 6??? Thanks
It honestly just depends. The 6 has a lot more wrist support so if you are big or a heavy puncher or have wrist problems you might find the 6 better, if you like to hit pads for more technical work then maybe the 3 is better. If you mix some clinch into your pad work then the 3 is a better glove in my opinion. I think its important to have a range of gloves in your bag if you can afford it though, like a mechanic has many tools in his toolbox
@@FightCentralUK tks
Ello ello, 'ewelcom tew thugh chynnel.
are they a bit heavy than the others BGVLs?
No, 16oz is 16oz the same as anything else. Cheap gloves don't ont play by the rules and it's just a size guide but proper brands should weigh exactly as it says on the label
@@FightCentralUK i actually order 1 awhile ago hahaha. Can you please try to do a weight comparison between the 2? I really think the BGVL6 is a bit heavier than the BGVL3… but just a really tiny bit hehe
@@alamikoy2191 I think its an interesting video topic actually so I will try to do it. It might not be this week but I will try to sort it out some time soon
Yep! Let me sub then. Im going to be waiting bro. 😉💪🏻
they are actually 17 oz
Is there any sense buy it for boxing not for Kickbosing or Thaiboxing?
Good for training because of the wrist support but you won't be able to fight in them I don't think
@@FightCentralUKnice to know i thought about getting them for sparring
Nice gloves. That logo on the bottom of the screen is a bit annoying though.
yes.. it's hugeee...
I just want to write this comment so you know, channels like yours eventhough you've got barely 150 subs help HEAPS for people looking into specific gear and a proper detailed review about them
Thank you
