Oh, Diana, I think I can speak for most people here, we’re not wondering where you’ve been!! Four littles!! No explanation needed! Thank you for taking the time to check in with us. You have been missed. 💗
Diana & Dawn! Wow! Your subject today HIT THE SPOT! I am an 82yo in poor health, after a very lively life… and I know that in this season my PURPOSE is PRAYER! God has clearly revealed that to me, after much wrestling on my part. You and Dawn have been such an INSPIRATION to me for a very long time. If I would have had daughters, I would have selected you twins! Instead, I was blessed with two wonderful sons who are now considerably past your age, and I am blessed with two grandchildren with great-grands! Facing a New Year, as I have every year in the past, I am inspired and motivated to set goals for meaningful living, with God’s help, “all things are possible!” 🙏 🦋💙🦋 ~Lyn W, Idaho USA
God bless you Linda. You are doing something very important - praying. When I had major health issues for years, knowing people were praying was very comforting - as well as knowing the power of prayer!
Linda, please know that any illness that you have is not from God, and he will remove it and heal it. Look at psalm 103 verse 3. That answers it all. It says I will heal all your diseases. You do not need to be sick if you're a born again Christian. if you look at the curses in Deuteronomy 28 sickness is listed under the list of curses. Jesus took all of that on his body. We don't need to suffer with anything that is listed under the curses and that's illness, poverty dysfunction. claim Psalm 103 verse 3 for yourself and watch the symptoms leave your body, tell God that you believe his word you receive your healing and watch It Linda day-by-day, each symptom will leave and you will get rid of this stuff out of your body in Jesus's name.
We live in a fallen world. None of us are promised to get out alive unless the rapture happens. Illness is NOT a sign of FAITHLESSNESS. Jesus did NOT promise we all would be healed from every single disease or problem on earth. Even He didn’t heal every single believer. Many amazing people of saving faith in Jesus [had and have] incredible testimonies of God’s Grace & Faithfulness because of their afflictions. My husband died very suddenly and unexpectedly in spite of all our and his own prayers & belief for healing and our faith (even as a mustard seed) and (Lord, I believe! Help my unbelief) and Paul (God did not take away his affliction, whatever it was). My kids and I were devastated enough without people telling us he didn’t have to die because God promises to heal everything - which implies it was our lack of faith that “killed him”. YES, pray and believe for healing in Jesus’ Name!! God can do miracles and can indeed heal any time He wants. But ALSO REMEMBER: “Not my will but Thy will be done!” Trust God to decide what is best and keep trusting Him in spite of the struggles we all face due to living in this sin-filled world!! Our ultimate healing physically comes in heaven. Our “spiritual healing” so to speak comes the moment we trust Jesus as our Savior! With Him, like with millions of others, we can walk and ensure whatever He chooses to allow to touch us. It’s all for His glory. PLEASE DO NOT make false promises that God Himself and Jesus on earth, never gave us. Paul had to be one of the most faith filled people to ever walk the earth and he was not healed.
A group of us widows in my neighborhood realized there are 19 women within walking distance of each other. We have started Neighborhood Gals which is a fellowship group to minister to some very lonely ladies who need friends to care about them. We will meet once a month for an hour at our homes and get to know each other then planning activities to help us get connected.
I'm in my 70s and my passion is for quilting. It was so revolutionary when I discovered a few years ago that a ministry doesn't have to be something traditionally considered "spiritual". So now I have made quilting a ministry, combining my spiritual gift of teaching with my quilting to teach whoever wants to learn quilting at no charge. Our quilting sessions often end up talking about the Lord. And almost all of the quilts I make are gifted to people that God brings to my mind and praying for them as I work on their quilt.
I am struggling right now. I’m 68 and don’t have much contact with my two children and grands. I have dealt with depression for years but it has hit me bad this year. Please pray for me.
Praying for you. Most of my family has moved far away. Though we periodically talk it has been hard. Find something you are interested in or revisit something that used to make you smile. Comit to it for at least a month. If that ends up not being the "thing" give yourself permission to try something else. No judgement! Also get outside for at least 10 minutes a day. Even if the weather is bad. Sit in your car if you have to. Park in the sun with the sun hitting your face. Speak to someone in the grocery store for at least 2 minutes. You need to conect with the world outside yourself. I am 73 and these things have helped me. God bless you❤.
Both of you ladies have been so inspiring. Last year, my season of life was disrupted when I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I had to retire out early from a job I loved as an educator. Going through chemo I found you, Dawn and then Diana on youtube last year when I was wanting to declutter just in case... I didn't want my daughter, now 30, to be left with it all if I didn't make it. I continued to rely on my faith. God still had a purpose for me. I recovered and became cancer free..it was a miracle. During that time, I also had decluttered fully thanks to your help. I now have the time to pursue my interests. I agree; to live our passion as god intended and to help others is really what we are all here for. I can't teach anymore but I am still young enough to work and now coach new teachers as my job and tutor students at risk. It's my calling to help others. Thank you for this conversation. It's exactly how I've been feeling. I am continuing to read and explore the skill of mentoring and I love it. I love the devotionals. Feeling blessed to be alive. I always feel happy when I listen to you both talk together. Thank you.
I have to say, being a baby boomer, it is amazing listening to the voices of all the interesting women on UA-cam- I wonder if I could have been a better mother had I had this inspiration in my younger days- not that I was bad, but watching so many young women who not only homeschool multiple kids but live very full lives with whatever talents they have found in themselves! You are both terrific!
Glad you are back Diana, you were missed. I am an empty nester. I did work as a teacher at low-income schools for 14 years. Right now I work as a Para at a low-income school. My job is my passion. I fix their hair, buy some snacks, provide things for our reward school cart. I build relationships with the students in order to let them know someone loves and cares about them. This would not have been possible, when I had 5 children at home. I feel really blessed now to be able to serve these children.
I'm an empty nester who always loved women's ministry. Last year I stepped out and began leading a Bible study in my home, and assisting the pastor's wife in planning women's events at our church. It totally energizes me! I love it! And the women in my church have really become closer and connected. It's thrilling to see the changes happening!😂
Thank you for that beautiful prayer that I wept the whole way through. It was truly heaven sent as every single thing you prayed touched a deep area of need for me at this moment. May God richly blessed you for obeying His prompting and reaching out. 💖🙏🏻
The organizing, minimizing and making order out of chaos is SO THAT we can live life and find things we love to do and serve one another. ❤ thank you both for your ministry
I have gone from a career in IT to slowly studying medicine. In the time I felt the call to move to medicine I have had 3 additional children. Slow & steady. Not only am I working towards helping people everyday in their hard moments for my job but I am showing my children you are never too old to change careers, to go back to school, to learn new skills. I’m in my 30’s & will hopefully be finished by 40. People aren’t retiring till 75 so I will still have a long career! lol 😂
I am 67 years old and have lived a very full life, but I am at a Season in life where I don't know where to go from here. I struggle a lot with depression and wondering how I can accomplish anything worthwhile at this stage of my life. I don't want to just exist. I want to live a life of purpose and fulfillment even now in my senior years.
I lost my mom 2 years ago.. she was only 68. I can assure you that you have much to offer even at 67 years old just as she did! If you like cooking, you could make and sell candies or cookies. If you like to knit or crochet you could make things for babies in hospitals or for the elderly. If you like to read, you could start a book club. There are many avenues that you could take to still feel wanted and needed. Everyone has something to offer up until the day they pass from this world. :)
So good to see you two! At the end of 2022 you mentioned the bible recap and in 2023 I did the whole trip through. It was lifechanging! Not at my circumstances, but inside of me! I can't thank you enough!!! As I talked to my smallgroup about reading the bible on a regular basis a lot of them admitted, they don't read at all. That really touched my heart and I asked the LORD how I can help them to get hungry for HIS word again. HE pointed me to the lent. So now we are going to read the bible together during that time and I'm so excited to see how god is working in their lifes too! You are both such an inspiration to me! Thanks for sharing your thoughts, your time, your energy! ❤ greetings from germany 🤗
I am right there with you. I'm 68, not working. I think I don't like retirement! I've been thinking I'm too old to start something. I know that is a lie. Prayer for you as God shows you something wonderful you can be a part of.
Me too…. I struggle with purpose, usefulness. Etc. I’m trying to learn more things, more about what subjects I already know some about, and some new things. I’m thinking about exploring what’s available at our local Community School. Xoxo
Loved this video so much and Diana, you have a gift when it comes to your prayers…. They are so beautiful at the end of the videos .. thank you so much!!♥️
I loved hearing the sweet cooing in the background at the end while you were praying! My children are either college age and beyond, so it’s a precious reminder of times that went by way faster than it felt at the time. ❤
I think that God has given me several areas where i find joy, and they can be used to share with others. I love to cook, craft, and organize things. I struggle with huge energy and some physical limitations. It is a daily struggle to feel relevant and to share God’s blessings with others I try to read the Bible every day, and I am in constant conversation with my Father. ❤
Diana we are here for you whenever you have time! I love the “realness” of this video. Your Mom calling, the text the baby is crying, yet , you remain faithful and excited and embracing the season you are in! Sending you big hugs❤😊
I’m a SAHM but I’m taking a course this weekend to become a CPST (basically a car seat tech). So obscure but I’m passionate about moms being able to protect their kids and this is a tangible way to do that.
I am a flight attendant that travels around the world. I love my job but also came to the realization that I am not home enough to continue to pay for Wi-Fi. So I just canceled it this week. Other than my house, I have access to Wi-Fi anywhere else. I feel like this will be so good for me to read more rather than watch mindless UA-cam videos that are just a bunch of influencers trying to sell you stuff you don’t need.
So good to see you Diana❤ I’ve missed you!! Thanks for checking in. 😊 your little ones are adorable! I’ve been watching you since b4 you had littles. Seems amazing that you have 4 already🤯
I completely understand you're in the nesting phase. Honestly, I only have 1 toddler now and I am amazed how you are Momma of 4 and you have this channel and church class you lead at the same time. Thank you for the prayer at the end. I know it blessed so very many of us. I woke up with an excruciating sinus headache and needed to power through bc I am a SAHM. My headache lessened when you prayed for healing. PTL. Just wanted to share that and thank you for encouraging us today! May God bless your day!
Soooo needed this today. I’ve been an empty-nester for a few years and work part-time but trying to find God’s purpose in my life and now in a season of waiting for a response. The prayer at the end was so on target. Thank you for being willing to be used by the Almighty 🙏🏻❤️
2/6/24 ~ Just received EVERYDAY JOYS, which I ordered from Amazon when I watched this video a few days ago, upon your recommendation. WOW!! It’s BEAUTIFUL! Totally Gift Quality!! It is quality bound, and the content is extra, extra LOVELY!!! I love that at the end of each chapter there are a couple of questions with space to journal an answer, which makes this a practical resource for spiritual growth. THANKS for your mention of this very special book that I plan to gift to several special people!! Love you two and your families! Blessings, Lyn W, Idaho USA 🎶
I'm an RN. I was doing freelance photography on the side. I started getting requests for prices for people to buy my nature photography. I'm currently working on getting my etsy shop up and running. It has been so fun!
Don't feel bad - I have no children at home and my "Christmas" cards went out mid-January as "Holiday" cards somewhere between Christmas and Presidents Day should be acceptable...I am actually surprised to hear from you with all your littles. (I value your content no matter how much time passes...)
I've always wondered why things that come in boxes need to be placed into other containers. My cereal boxes work fine, as do my cling wrap and aluminum foil. They come in boxes and they store just fine...apart from that, it's lovely to see you Diana. Get whatever rest you can. We'll be here.
With some people all the bright packages with text and pictures can lead to sensory overload. I decant into used glass coffee jars etc. you don’t have to spend money. It’s very calming.
About 4 years ago, I started doing microloans for women in other countries through Kiva. During this time I wanted to help women and families closer to home. I found Dawn and she inspired me to declutter and organize my kitchen! Through this, I realized I missed cooking for a family (we are empty nesters). I believe the Lord lead me to find the group Lasagna Love ( founded in 2020). I believe the Lord gave me the courage to make lasagna dinners and deliver them to families in my community. God knows what we need, He knows how we can help. We just need to be ready and willing to accept the calling He has for us. Here am I, send me. Isaiah 6:8-13
God Bless you, sisters! You are a breath of fresh air! I have been on Dawn's page for quite awhile & she recommended you so I am new here. I am so glad I came over. I know this was from 2 months ago, but I am feeling a bit down today & having pain in my hip. You're prayer covered both & I sure thank you for that! I feel better & encouraged already!
I am a structural engineer passionate about conservation and heritage of existing structure. Today i had a meeting about creating a training programme which would allow me to follow my passion by teaching what i know to other colleagues and be supported through work to do so. It is such a blessing and this was a reminder of what i feel i am called to do. Lots of hugs to you and your family from the uk!
So Cute about your mom calling you. I have an identical twin sister and our parents always said if one called home the other one will call to. Thanks for your video
I dropped out of college so my husband could finish and I could raise our girls. I kept thinking the whole time that I wanted to finish. So during Covid I went back to the University and finished my degree in Anthropology at 54 years old! So rewarding. Now trying to figure out what to do next. I would love to help people somehow.
You take care of those little ones and yourself. I have the notifications on to let me know when you have a new video. I’m still working on what I’m passionate about. I do enjoy quilting and when I hear of someone who has cancer I make them a lap quilt. Sometimes it is hard to keep up. So many people seem to have cancer these days. There are other quilters in my area that get together and share. 😊
I literally an hr ago tried to say this same prayer and asked God to guide me to be a better person. Then I came across this channel! I stumble with what to say in a prayer but I know God knows my words
I have discovered that my passion is crocheting for charities, homeless shelters, nursing homes. It’s because my house is (mostly) decluttered. It is so exciting
ROGER THAT! I have been seeking the Lord about something I am really feeling called to do. This video came right when I needed it! I feel like God has confirmed this journey for me through you both. Thank you. I cannot wait to see God open up a new way for me to be used by him!
My kids are 6, 4 & 1 and I'm turning 40 this November. I decided last week to start taking ballet again with hopes to get en pointe before my birthday. Thanks for reminding me I'm not too old and too busy to chase my passions! ❤
This was so great to hear. I have truly stepped out of my comfort zone this year and I started a moms group at my church so that moms can connect with one another. I also ran for a board of directors at my dairy coop. ( I am a dairy farmer in MN and we ship our milk to a coop that make cheese) and I got elected and it has been a good experience and a weird experience all at the same time. But I want to show women that we can sit in these roles as I am the only women who currently sits on the board of directors. But with sitting on the board of directors I am learning a ton. The weather in MN has been amazing so enjoy ladies.
I literally just thought to myself yesterday that I missed seeing you on here and was hoping you were doing well! So glad to hear that you are and that all is well with your family! 😊
You are not alone with football. I have never played, or watched it up until last Super Bowl, and now I am hooked. I listen to podcasts, read articles and follow everything football. I can’t explain it, but I’m addicted as a 45 year old mom.
Finding it hard…right now is consumed with homeschooling and kid raising. But you both have that too and are still making room for your passions. I can hardly think of my passions. Of course, homeschooling, kids, and teaching are some of my passions. I just feel like you’re saying there should be something more, since you both have that something more on top of kids and homeschool. Any thoughts on this? Love you both. Good to see you!
I feel the same way and I'm kind of in the tail end of homeschooling even. I graduated one and have an 11th and 8th grader left. I still can't really figure out my passions.
@@Erin78G I'm an empty nester and one out of many things I learned when raising kids, homeschooling, etc was to not let anyone tell or suggest I should be doing anything other than what the Lord has called me to do. Plus there are different seasons of life with different things in each season. You do you. Don't worry about what anyone else does or thinks. Galatians 6:4-5
Was so good to see you again today. You are missed. Enjoy this time with your little ones. There is nothing like retrospect to know the truth of the saying, "the days are long but the years are short".❤
What I felt the Lord reveal to me was I’m called to teach God’s word to children and other ladies-through discipling them in this season! I’m a homeschooling Mama, and one of the best parts of my day is around breakfast time when I read the word of God out loud to them. God shared with me too, read through the gospels each day we spend typically less than 20 minutes, reading from the new living translation, which my young girls have been very receptive to. Also, I get just as much out of it, if not more! It’s certainly exciting to think about, because God has given me giftings and talents in drawing, painting, singing, athletics, theatre, and encouraging others! I pray it is all used for His glory!
It was so good to see you Diana and hear that you and your family are doing well. I pray for peace to fill your house ans patience to fill your heart. See you soon 💜
I’m inspired by your comments which encourage me to look away from Facebook scrolling and identify my passion, my ‘wish’ list of things I want to try. And I’m in my 70’s! Thank you. - Wanda
Diana! So happy to see you back after your new baby! Congratulations! I am passionate about many things, so glad you are making these videos to have us first seek our identity in Christ and also exploring our passions to honor Him and others.
We miss you Diana and you both together. Understandable with your 4 little ones (adorable) that time available to have outside interests, is limited. But as they get older, you'll have more time too. Don't push yourself because this time too will go by very quickly. We love seeing you when you can post a video. Until then, enjoy your beautiful family and your home. Thanks for checking in with us. Love your channel !!
You girls touched on so many issues that I have experiencing. Thank you so much for taking the time to share with us today! Best empty Nester appreciates you more than you know
I have two littles. I love baking and love the women around me that I get to be there for. Still need the reminder to keep Christ in the center so I can pursue my passions and be there for others.
Nice to see you and your beautiful baby. You are always an inspiration to all and a wonderful mother. Those days go by so quickly. Glad you can take the time to enjoy them. ❤

A most beautiful sound. That baby crying in the background while you pray. Can't get more real than that.

They are so beautiful at the end of the videos .. thank you so much!!♥️
I agree. I really look forward to the prayer at the end of each video
Yes, the same for me.
It is a daily struggle to feel relevant and to share God’s blessings with others
I try to read the Bible every day, and I am in constant conversation with my Father. ❤
Diana we are here for you whenever you have time! I love the “realness” of this video. Your Mom calling, the text the baby is crying, yet , you remain faithful and excited and embracing the season you are in! Sending you big hugs❤😊
I’m currently learning how to crochet via youtube 😊
I’ve been doing the Bible recap. Thank you ladies for recommending it in a previous video. It’s great. Love it!!
I was going to leave this exact comment! I have been loving TBR sooo much!!
Same!!
..."You'll find that it's not hard because it's who you are" THIS!!!
Yes we can learn anything. ❤️❤️❤️
Love your prayers Diana so beautiful!!! Thank You 🙏
Diana and Dawn, you two must have some incredible genetics to look so amazing after having so many health babies!♡♡♡♡
You have a beautiful family, Diana!
When a momma has a home full of little ones, she pretty much has a captive audience and the opportunities for ministry to those littles is limitless,
I feel you Dawn, on the no Walmart delivery to the rural areas. 😂 I’m living decades in the past here.
Soooo needed this today. I’ve been an empty-nester for a few years and work part-time but trying to find God’s purpose in my life and now in a season of waiting for a response. The prayer at the end was so on target. Thank you for being willing to be used by the Almighty 🙏🏻❤️
Thanks for the encouragement! Love your prayers at the end.🙏🥰
🎉 nice to see the two of you! 🌞
Thank you for your prayers. You prayed for my problems. Insomnia and wayward children. Gerrie
I like helping others be more organized in order for them to have more time to pursue their passions.
Hello beautiful ladies!!!!
We all love both of you so much! You have become family.
Praying for both of you and all you are doing. God bless you. ❤
So happy to see you both
I’m loving having the opportunity to care for elderly in their homes!!!
Aw, we miss babies and little people around here. I offered my Holy Communion for you both on Saturday.
Oh my goodness!!!! So great to see you both❤️Wonderful to see you Diana ❤️
I love to learn! It helps my brain stay active. The learning doesn’t have to lead to a career or side huddle. Learn just for the joy of learning!
Brava ! This is me as well !!
Thank you for your timely prayer, Diana. Amen, LORD!
Yes dip your toe in what you passionate about. Great advice dawn.
One step towards something we're passionate about. Amen, sister. Welcome back! ❤
I feel behind in life- almost 45 years old and don’t know my identity/calling.
Praying through the babys' call to you was precious
You’d be proud, just took a load to the thrift store and didn’t let it talk itself back into the house!
So glad to see you. Have a great, blessed weekend. 😊 1:04
You are worth Waiting For !!!😊❤
I have discovered that my passion is crocheting for charities, homeless shelters, nursing homes. It’s because my house is (mostly) decluttered. It is so exciting
I ordered the devotional book as soon as Dawn mentioned it! It should be here today!!
Umm, well people got my "New Year" cards the second week of Jan😆and all my kids are teens!😄
Hi ladies! Diana, I adore the book Wintering by Katherine May and revisit it every year now. Highly recommend!
I’m passionate about gardening, home preservation and cooking
This is a huge shift for me ❤
I literally just thought to myself yesterday that I missed seeing you on here and was hoping you were doing well! So glad to hear that you are and that all is well with your family! 😊
Dawn, let’s hear more about this on your channel! Please. Love to hear you excited.
Thank you Diana for allowing the Lord to use your passion for pastoral ministry to bless me today.
You are not alone with football. I have never played, or watched it up until last Super Bowl, and now I am hooked. I listen to podcasts, read articles and follow everything football. I can’t explain it, but I’m addicted as a 45 year old mom.
So nice to see yall together!
Yay so glad to see you share an update! Miss you!
I heard it said the greatest ministry you have is within the walls of your home. Reading Titus might be an encouragement to you. ❤
@@qtluvBilly3 I agree, so I think it’s hard for me to hear I should be doing something more…
@@Erin78G I'm an empty nester and one out of many things I learned when raising kids, homeschooling, etc was to not let anyone tell or suggest I should be doing anything other than what the Lord has called me to do.
I have felt split between two different passions but through prayer and scripture study I know what direction to go ❤
I purchased the bins and they are great! There are 18
What I felt the Lord reveal to me was I’m called to teach God’s word to children and other ladies-through discipling them in this season!
I was so excited to see this today! I’ve been thinking of you and missing you and wanted to send you a message, but didn’t know how
This was such an inspirational video. Thinking of learning something new at 66!
I’m inspired by your comments which encourage me to look away from Facebook scrolling and identify my passion, my ‘wish’ list of things I want to try. And I’m in my 70’s! Thank you. - Wanda
Great food for thought.. consider your passion in ways to serve. thank you.
So good to see you! I have been praying that you are okay. You are 🎉
Don’t be to hard on yourself! This time will pass so quickly! Your family needs to be your first priority.❤️🙏
aw loved seeing your face!
Nice to see you and your beautiful baby. You are always an inspiration to all and a wonderful mother.
Those days go by so quickly. Glad you can take the time to enjoy them.
❤
