    There is a lot of bad information out there as to where the relay is for the radiator fan (also known as the cooling fan). Parts stores and sites online have it all wrong for this model. This video tells you where it is, and gives part number.
    Buy the part here: www.amazon.com/Genuine-Chrysl...
    Peace! This video is about T&C Radiator Relay Repair

    Thank you so much!! The dodge dealer said it would cost $950 because the resistor was part of the fan module!

    I’m really grateful. You show the precises instructions and I did it by myself. Now my 2010 Town & Country radiator fan is working properly. Thanks a lot and God Bless you! Correct diagnosis !😊

    I'm excited with the info. I'm having the same problem on my 2013 dodge caravan, changed temp sensor, thermostat, fan, fuses and nothing, now that I know were is the rad fan relay after work I'm gonna change it and hopefully the fan will work again!!!

    At what temp the cooling fan should engage.on my 2012 T/c it starts at 219f degrees and stops at 212 wich I believe it’s a bit higher than normal.I’ve replaced the thermostat but nothing has changed.could this relay be the culprit?

    How many relays does the cooling fan have? There is a "relay" in the fuse box... A "relay" where you showed people, and one or two other "relays" on the other side of the radiator? Is that correct? I am trying to pinpoint why I am overheating and why and where coolant is leaking from... And noticed that my fan does not seem to be turning on... And might have never turned at all since I bought the van a few months ago!?? All i know is i see a bit of coolant under the vehicle when i stop and look underneath and the fan has not turned on since paying attention to it all day... And i was able to get the fan on by making a circuit with the "relay" in fuse box and had the fan turn on right away... But do not know if that pinpoints the issue with the fan... And even if the fan is an easy fix... if the fan is or is not the only issue with the cooling system

    For a relay to radiator cooling fan it seems like on the 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan, that the relay is / was implemented without a heatsink metal poles on the relay and with a regular 4 connector relay that is black. Or doing that (without heatsink) was a common fix for that year. Can anyone confirm either the changes or the inconsistency of a relay for the cooling fan in a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan? Trying to get info from the OEM seems extremely challenging even if going to a dealer.

    My van has two relays side by side next to radiator. Which one is the high speed relay ?

    • @scottycam6
      @scottycam6 Рік тому +1

      Did u figure out which relay it was?

    • @rydgomez2
      @rydgomez2 Рік тому

      @@scottycam6 Yes. There are two behind drivers head light assembly. It is the one closest to radiator. You can also tell by the 2 larger gauge wires on it along with 2 smaller wires. The relay next to it has all small wires Make sure the connector to the relay is locking tight on the pins. Mine were loose causing me to burn threw relays. I ended cutting off the connector and crimping on spade connectors and connecting straight to relay then water proofing it. Haven’t burnt threw relays since.

      @@rydgomez2hello buddy my high speed fan works fine but low speed don't turn on when I turn on the AC... And blows warm at idle and red light on highway speeds it's cold. Does the other relay is for low speed thinking of changing that one ..

    • @rydgomez2
      @rydgomez2 Місяць тому

      You can always test your low speed relay, but your high speed relay is the main one for cooling down your engine when running ac. But first check your fan resister. Those go bad all the time.
