    Love this because you talking about something most people don't recognize. Time is our most valuable resource. We only have so much of it, you can't save it, manufacturer it or buy more of it, yet we waste it like it is something we have an unlimited resource. Love what you said "I did not enough desire to make the time to workout (or whatever). Saying yes to one thing is saying NO to everything else.

    Appreciate the video.

  • @wildwildwest1286
    @wildwildwest1286 5 років тому

    Part of the solution for me was to start building up a home gym.Just with a bar and plates you can do deadlifts.I started with a bar,and bought one or two plates whenever I had the money.Now I have over 600 pounds just in plates,way more than I need by the way.That's just for powerlifting.Bodybuilding movements are even easier since you need less weight.Add in a landmine apparatus and your exercise options multiply exponentially.You can do volume workouts one day a week at home,and heavy lifting at the gym when you do have more time.You could even maybe do a routine with just two workouts one week,and three or four the next week until your time gets freed up.

    168 - 60 work - 56 (Lol, no way I'm getting 8 sleep hours a night) - 21 "prep" hours - - 21 Travel - 21 hours family time = -11 hours
    TIL I'm living on borrowed time. Lol!
    Honestly, I do have the time in the day to get in a 30 minute workout during the week and however long during the weekend. You have to make sacrifices though. Sometimes its sleep. Sometimes it's fun time. Sometimes it's family.
    For me, the hard part is finding the motivation within myself to do something that increases how tired I am on a daily basis. There are days I sleep in my car instead of eating lunch. Other days (too many days) I end up skipping workouts. The truth of the matter is there's time to do it but I choose other things instead. I passively chose not to make the time to change what I'm doing. Exactly what you said at the beginning. IMO the hardest part is making healthier decisions, but they're the decisions that are the most important.
