I’d take the merc only because the reason for the wagon is the cargo space and the Audi fast backed their rear.

@@pseudonym6642 Can you please send me the link on where you’ve seen the RS6 sell 10:1 compared to e63s. Im assuming you’re talking about Pre Facelift, which I still think is better, M5 feels very numb to me and you’re better off going with a M550i, never been in a RS6 tho. All great cars, each with their pros and cons, but nothing excited me more than that E63 but thats just my opinion.

I’ve Always thought the Audi looks better but I’ll say this(and driving a 4 door sedan e63) the Benz is an absolute torque monster. I’m talking if you gonna run it hard the e63 the route to go. But if you want a good looking car Audi.
I took delivery of an 2021 E63s wagon in january this year because of you guys :-) Usually we have our kids, 2 and 4 years in the backseat. Works great as a family hauler. Agree with you regarding the looks, but happy I choosed the E63s!

The Audi's body proportions just look so much lovelier compared side to side to the Benz
the wheel size difference alone is insane.

I am glad there's still high performance wagons. Such a great practicality. Mind you, I'll never be able to afford this, but it's nice they exist, so I can have something to buy after massive depreciation in about 8 years. Hope they don't fall apart by then.

As a S212 E63s owner, this brought a huge smile to my face this morning. Made me want to go for a drive, but man, it would be wicked if I had a wagon buddy to go rip around like Jakub and Yuri.

As a photographer who shoots on location and needs to carry a lot of gear I need a vehicle that has a lot of storage space. I was tired of suvs and wanted to a car so I was looking at the Mercedes wagon. After watching you guys review the 2018 AMG version I was hooked. I ended up buying a 2019 last year after searching all over the US for one that was specked the way I wanted it. I ended up with a polar white with black out package and the black rims. Thank you guys you deserve all the credit for my decision to purchase this wagon
You were my inspiration to buy the e63s wagon. Looking for it I stumbled upon the AMG gt63s ⁴d and it just stuck with me. It's honestly a fantastic experience
I also stumbled upon a GT63S 4 Doors, but I went with the Estate.
The fact that I'm stuck at work right now and can't fully watch this video makes the rest of the day feel like an eternity.

No, E63S is not safety car in Formula 1. Safety car is AMG-GT R and now AM Vantage also, but C63S is medical car, that is what you got mixed up. Nevertheless, great video!

Actually the medical car is the DBX when the Vantage is the safety car, and when the amg gtr is the safety car the medical car is the c63s...
@@JESUS_IS_GOD that engine partnership is going to end, aston martin is developing a straight 6 cil engine in house to replace all the mercedes v8 cars.
@@JESUS_IS_GODLance Stroll said that they are replacing de v8 with a v6 built in house by aston, they are only going to share technology like hibrid and eletric components, not engines. The first model to come with that engine is due to be presented in 2022 and its going to be called Valhalla. Im not making this up just google it.

I’m an Audi fan and was waiting for the straight pipes seal of approval with the rs6 avant, but I think I’ve been swayed. I’ve been leaning more on the e63s wagon as I’ve done more research and this sealed the deal. Great video guys.

I think the rounded styling on the Mercedes is looking a bit dated. Otherwise both great machines.
Here in NZ everyone loves SUV’s. Wagons are not considered “cool”, so its awesome these super wagons exist.
I was always in love with the GLC 63 after the straight pipes review a few years ago. I would say it set me off on a path of research that ultimately lead to the RS6 purchase. Thanks @thestraightpipes!
I had ordered one in late 2017 and it was on a boat when your first video came out so it was great confirmation bias. Keep it up! And yes, the pre-facelift one looks better and doesn’t have a soft limiter. Unless a dealer has a wagon allocation already it takes 6-12 months to get one. Possibly longer if you want Carbon Ceramic Brakes because they build less than 10 worldwide per month with CCBs between both the Sedan and Wagon. My dealer had to trade 5 cars, including a non-CCB E63 allocation, to another dealer to get allocations for my E63 Wagon with CCBs and a GLS63 for someone else.
I usually go for the Audi styling,..but,...I really like that new look of the Merc. It's looks great. Winner for me.

I absolutely love the styling on the RS6 Avant. The Merc is also good, but the RS6 really speaks to me.
