Stick shift is the best class at this event in my opinion. Everything needs to be perfect to make a good pass, and when that happens, these drivers make it look easy

Last edit* Atkins is such a professional but modest when it comes to his wins... He thought he lost and celebrated with his opponent only to find out the technicality that I had to rewind and watch a dozen times only to be like 🤷 given the fractions of a split second reaction time that red lit the right hand lane...insanely close by every means.
It's been a long time since I've seen a team celebrate after losing a drag race. Great to see that the run the car made was more important than turning on the win light against a bad ass car in the other lane. That's what makes drag racing great.
I like 1320 video but wow, the production here is so much better. It gets you excited with the music and the cinematic feel. 1320 is too busy letting freddie talk about whats "on the property"
I think all drag cars should be manual. just like in nearly all race series, the cars are not allowed to be automatic, or shift for the driver. Its just so exciting, seeing the cars slam into each gear, both visually and audibly...and knowing that some happy driver is bangin gears to their hearts content

On top of needing to get your car, engine, drivetrain, and transmission dialed, you need to row your gears properly too!

@@sergev7828 blowers are 100% better, BUT, the problem with blowers, is the immediate and crazy torque. They are tough to dial in and tune as well. That is why, when u put a crazy chassis n Tire u can do 300+ in the quarter with ease and put down the power. But even Top Fuel struggles to contain it.

I think we should do away with automatic transmissions for racing street or strip all together. Racing should be a true test of drivers. Having an automatic transmission takes a huge part of that out of the equation

Nuck in The S10 screwed himself staging. He let his truck roll while staged and redlight. It happened a couple times but it got him red on the final.
