This exercise is perfect. You jump and make your body moove much more than with running and you don't hurt your knees. You'll definitely get more results doing that everyday than going for a run.
@DarthVader you're supposed to jump as close to the floor with a slight bend in the knee. If anything, for rehab purposes, skipping would have less impact on the joints than running, but it all depends on how high you jump. Atlhough, having said that, it's easier to maintain a run for 10 minutes than skipping for that same period XDDD I used skipping during my rehab periods when I can't run, and helped strenghten my ankles and legs more. Although bit by bit, started with 15s of 10 sets then 20s then 30s. I guess that'd be better for most people rather than try and do 1-5 mins straight out of the bat XD
Hi, I've watched three of your videos... rowing, skipping and press ups. Great job! Congratulations. You've won the first battle which is to keep motivated regardless of pain or fatigue. I'm 52 and have gone from fit to fat and this inspires me to 'get it back'. I have one question though... I realized after the third video that these are all from the same time period. This would mean you were doing rowing, skipping and press ups (perhaps others?) each day during the same 30 day period. So it isn't really individual exercises that resulted in the weight loss, but rather all three combined. It would be handy to know that, and I can imagine doing all three each day for 30 days would result in such weight loss! That being said, did you also make any dietary changes during the same time period that you can share? And once again, I'm not criticizing you. I think you did an amazing job!
I’m on my day 3, had a good cry about my insecurities last night. Quite determined to make it through June 2021 my medical school graduation month. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
I'm 69 years young and this video had me scratching my head as Billy appeared to be skipping with very good form and for a good length of time, but his clock was always 08.15 or 20.15, I don't know which. I was 106 kg on 08th March and today (12/06), I am 95 kg. The weight loss was mostly achieved during March, April and May and I have plateaued somewhat during the past few weeks. Trouble is at my age, starting doing physical exercises again, I don't have the stamina for prolonged exercise so mostly did intermittent fasting, calisthenics and some free weights. Personally, I think a routine of Planks, Push Ups (which I'm still struggling with), Air Squats, Farmer's Carry (50 kg) some crunches I can do on my mattress and Jumping Rope are all I really need with a controlled diet. Therefore, I was really glad to read in the description that Billy had started out with 1 minute skipping followed by 1 minute breaks as 20 jumps is my today's maximum and I'm knackered after that. Plus, to begin with, I needed a man bra to stop my Moobs bouncing which really hurt. At the end of the day, you need to keep moving, doing something and burning that excess fat in the most enjoyable way you can. Be a savvy shopper, learn to eat good foods only and avoid all of the trash the big conglomerates are trying to poison you with. Do that and count how many times you're not awaiting a doctor's appointment - Good luck.

@DarthVader you will get loose skin if you're obese and lose weight fast especially via exercise. I don't know if it can go away on its own, ive heard people talk about surgery. I really don't know. But that shouldn't scare you. Focus on losing weight first.
@@GroovyStyleUnbox just Google 2 boiled eggs and intermittent fasting you will get all information and get to choose whats right for you. Loose skin issue will depend on how much you weigh and lose and how you do it. Its nothing to worry about tbh.

I initially thought you lost 11kg in 30 days just by do skipping, looking at other videos, you also did running, planking, push-ups, Medicine Ball Slams, burpees along side skipping in the same period of 30days and that's how you achieved this incredible transformation isn't it?
So in the first week you did 1 min per day equating to 7 mins total in a week? Also how many rest days did you have in the 30days & when did you decide to take them please ?

@@varshamunde2289 at first its hard i wouod often trip i was 127kg, i would jump 2 min per round for 5 rounds, it depends ist not same for everobody you just do what you can and then you just keep getting better, now i can easily do 10 round for 6 min, no rest in betwen rounds 1 min ab workout. And most important thing is fun, i dont jump regular any more just fast sprints and I learned a lot of tricks . Everyone can do it put some music on and you can do it everywhere 😀😀
I was running 3-4 times a week but im overweight and was hurting my joints pretty bad, doc recommended me to buy some foam mats and start doing some cardio with a jump rope and belive me it works just like running or another cardio training you just have to be consistent and later on mix it up with some push-ups, lundages, crunches etc etc to accelerate the fat loss.... 💪
Nice results man, very inspiring! I'm gonna try this for sure! Your brother's band music is really good too, very pleasing to listen to. Did you also change your diet alongside the skipping?
Jump roping hands down is the best work out. I’ve lost so much weight in the past , with a workout tool , that cost so little (speed jump rope) vs heavy workout equipment or a gym membership. The only problem why I don’t jump rope as much anymore , is because my knees swell sometimes . When I was younger my knees never swelled but I’m 52 now & I think I will have to try a lower impact jump. This has inspired me to try jump roping again . I am gonna try this for 30 days. Thankyou :)
I thought the sides by side comparisons were well done. Nice touch. What kind of rope were you using? How long were you shipping for per day? In the description it says 1 min, was that per day in the first week and then 2mins per day in the second week with a min rest in between sets?

Outstanding! Keep grinding.
Thanks!

Para aqueles que pensam que pular corda é para fracos ou para pessoas que não físico bom para outro tipo específico de treino, estão completamente enganados, pois tem que ter muita dedicação e animação para realizar todos os dias!
That's great bro. I've been out of work for a year and a half and have gotten fat! gnna start skipping tomorrow
I did intermittent fasting and the egg diet plan and some skipping too. Lost weight real fast. No loose skin.
Can you write down it to me, it would be really helpful. I'm really worried about loose skin. 🙋

Hey good to hear. For how long you did i.f diet?
ehem, watu wa +254 hawawezi kosa hapa, alafu ilikuwa kienyeji ama broiler?
@DarthVader you will get loose skin if you're obese and lose weight fast especially via exercise. I don't know if it can go away on its own, ive heard people talk about surgery. I really don't know. But that shouldn't scare you. Focus on losing weight first.
@@GroovyStyleUnbox just Google 2 boiled eggs and intermittent fasting you will get all information and get to choose whats right for you. Loose skin issue will depend on how much you weigh and lose and how you do it. Its nothing to worry about tbh.
Same has happened with me. Rope skipping is one of the most effective exercise. Plus the psychological boost it gives you.
I lost 16 kg during the lockdown. I used to do 1800 skips, 120 pushups, 100 squats, 100 crunches daily.💪🏼
Bro did you go bald like one punch man? Just kidding ! Keep up the good work, u an inspiration:)
@@ghgyufydctxtrxgfchvk he need to run 10 miles to for that

Great Job losing the weight and even greater that you started something and stuck to it for the 30 days. I hope your still continuing on with your program. Its never easy but continue to drive yourself. Great Job 👍

Billy My man! You just gave me a truck load of motivation! Good job buddy! Keep going!
Great job!! Love these videos!!
Thanks, glad you enjoy them!
Well done, dude. You are an inspiration.
Do intermittent fasting, with some exercise such as roping or it can be any other exercise.
You will be amazed by the results. Speaking from the experience, except roping i did normal exercises and sometimes HIIT, with Intermittent Fasting.
I lost 18 Kgs and 6 inch waist size in 2 Months ☺️.
Just believe in yourself. You can do it guys.
Pls share your diet chart
You try diet IF which one? OMAD?
great job! keep working out! support from Italy
You are inspiring me to be consistent with what I do. Thank you
Billy is the master of weight loss
Thanks. I need to learn to keep off the weight!
I initially thought you lost 11kg in 30 days just by do skipping, looking at other videos, you also did running, planking, push-ups, Medicine Ball Slams, burpees along side skipping in the same period of 30days and that's how you achieved this incredible transformation isn't it?
You can see the significance after 30 days. Anyone can jump rope and the benefits are amazing.
Did you do the Press-ups, running and the skipping all in the same month?
Was thinking the same
Yeah as well as a few other exercises. Low reps of each but a good range of different exercises
Whatever you carried out, you did well! Awesome! 👍💪 Keep going harder
So in the first week you did 1 min per day equating to 7 mins total in a week?
Also how many rest days did you have in the 30days & when did you decide to take them please ?
Nice result! Good job mate!
I remember this guy. He did the running on a treadmill thing for a month iirc
Yep that was me
@@BillyBrendan how much distance?

Jump rope changed my life, i highly recommend it, i lost 45 kg in 11 months using jump rope every day combined with other exercises, but the most important thing is to eat healthy and results just keep on coming, and after i while believe me u just get used to healthy food and you love it, and training becomes fun 😀😀😀
Can you tell how much time you did jump rope ?
@@varshamunde2289 at first its hard i wouod often trip i was 127kg, i would jump 2 min per round for 5 rounds, it depends ist not same for everobody you just do what you can and then you just keep getting better, now i can easily do 10 round for 6 min, no rest in betwen rounds 1 min ab workout. And most important thing is fun, i dont jump regular any more just fast sprints and I learned a lot of tricks .
Everyone can do it put some music on and you can do it everywhere 😀😀
@@marinjurisic2666 thank you.😄
Congrats man!! Keep it up!
Thats really inspiring !! ♥️🇮🇳🔥
Glad you enjoyed!
This is original bro....i love ur passion & dedication....keep it up
I Hate skipping I always have to do this as a warm up when I do me boxing class.
But it's fun and if you get better you can do some cool tricks
@@meizind Yeah like double tap and crossover I can skip but I never really liked doing it.
0:53 Why is there a playstation chilling outside?
Keep going man! Ur doing great!
Nice results man, very inspiring! I'm gonna try this for sure! Your brother's band music is really good too, very pleasing to listen to. Did you also change your diet alongside the skipping?
Thanks glad you enjoyed. Just lowered my carbs and calories
How long did you skip in a day?
@@mygamingemail30 It is the video description, but was about 6 min
Jump roping hands down is the best work out. I’ve lost so much weight in the past , with a workout tool , that cost so little (speed jump rope) vs heavy workout equipment or a gym membership. The only problem why I don’t jump rope as much anymore , is because my knees swell sometimes . When I was younger my knees never swelled but I’m 52 now & I think I will have to try a lower impact jump. This has inspired me to try jump roping again . I am gonna try this for 30 days. Thankyou :)
Try swimming to give some rest to the knees
I thought the sides by side comparisons were well done. Nice touch.
What kind of rope were you using?
How long were you shipping for per day? In the description it says 1 min, was that per day in the first week and then 2mins per day in the second week with a min rest in between sets?
Dude, this made me so fucking happy. Keep it up! Can’t wait to see more progress.
Thanks mate!
