Couldn’t agree more when you said “I think the best schools are the ones that hold you accountable and are also reasonable with a given time frame “ I’ll write that down as a quote from you and come back to it when I don’t feel like doing smth.. Congrats for sticking to this challenge for a month 👏👏
The only thing I disagree with is limiting yourself to 1000 jumps per day. You will start to plateau quickly. You should always push to do more each day or increase the intensity/time. Just doing 1000 jumps is really limiting your progress. Still really good on you bro. I'm getting ready to start my 30 day challenge once my jump rope gets here from Amazon. I'm in horrible shape. My body is shaped like a microwaved jumbo marshmallow. I'm trying to look like a Greek God so I got a bit of jumping to do
I don't even do 1000 per day and in 1 yr I can skip, do criss cross with ease, jump without messing up, do side winders, different variations of skips and more. This just in one year dude. Yes 1000 skips alone per day can do alot for your progress. Maybe it's consistency that's holding someone back from progressing.
@@JuliusTurner-hm6ff you're missing the point of his comment, he was saying only limiting to 1k per day might stump progress a little, he was suggesting to push for more than 1k per day. yeah you can do all that in a year - but what Wrekz is saying is he could push to do MORE within the time frame he set :)
DAMN. Nice commitment to the challenge. I woulda given up (I hate cardio lmao)! Great job man! I think we both know you don't really lose that much weight just from cardio alone haha. I'm sure your overall body comp definitely changed for sure. You look way more shredded at the end of the challenge compared to the beginning!
Ello Bro! Yea I still kept up with my regular resistance training and cleaned up diet a bit. I think it was that added on calories burned that put me at that sweet spot of a total deficit.
I know this post is a year old, but 1000 jumps of jumping rope isn't enough to burn a lot of calories. I can do that in about 6 and a half minutes and it only equates to about 80 calories. If you do 10,000 a day that's when you start losing weight. I didn't start lifting weights until I lost 100 pounds and all I did was run and jump rope everyday for 6 months. Cardio along with getting your nutrition in check will certainly help you lose weight.
Nice transformation!! CrossRope is one of the best ropes out there. Try getting yourself a rubber fitness mat to protect your ropes. Will last longer 💪 🕺🎶➰
Bring elbows back with arms close to the ribs, wrist should be slightly in front of you near your waist. Watch boxers jump rope, doing it with your arms out to the side will effect your progress in the future, as you are shortening the rope. Pulling elbows back allows the rope to whip around and gives you more rope to work with. Rush athletics is a good example
@@DanielKaganov yeah I made these changes myself as I used to jump with my arms out to the side as well and have gotten loads better, it’s increased my skill by a lot. Good luck!
Also, up the intensity with tricks and by challenging yourself to go faster. A set amount of skips is not a great way to lose weight, instead getting out and going til you can’t anymore will increase agility, endurance and stamina while burning fat.
So I’m on the my third day did you incorporate any rest days or is it solely 30 days nonstop ? My legs are sore rn but I’m about to finish my third day right now. Use the 1/4 rope it’s so fun too
I did 30 days nonstop but certainly I would not recommend powering through what could be an injury. If it is just general fatigue / soreness hopefully after the first couple weeks your body starts to an adapt. Keep it up!!
Are you still on a journey? I’m on my 10th day and I did the rest day on my third day of journey cuz I felt sore. I’m a beginner tho. Sometimes when I feel sore I just cut the routine to morning and evening exercises just not to die of straight 30 mins skipping at once. I guess it’s better than nothing lmao
Could you share the rope that you use there? It seems so strong even though you mostly trained on a paved surface Anyway great 💪 (usually i make 30-40 minutes each one for 2 times at week, but, mentally, it is very difficult to do it every day like you)
Tons of other cardio, but if we're being specific, yes skipping and a healthy diet (yes you still have to maintain a caloric deficit) can get you the same results as a marathon runner. It's one of the best cardio activities to speed up the heartrate and boxers go to method of maintaining balance, stamina, and footwork. I'm telling you this as someone who use to run for an hour on a treadmill after lifting damn near everyday for 2 yrs, and did not see anywhere near the results I got in only 6 months of 30 min a day jump rope activity. My favorite cardio workout period.
Never work through intense pain. Rest and light stretching but still working out other muscle groups is the way to go. If it's a slight discomfort however it could be just due to being untrained and may require a few more sessions to get over.
He told you everything but the main 1 😂😂 bro you need to jump on a jump rope mat this dude is crazy doing it on concrete I did that shit for 2 months and couldn’t walk for like 3 weeks because I was jumping on concrete
It's not good, you shouldn't stretch out your arms, but bend them and bring your elbows to the body as much as you can, turn the rope with your upper arm and wrist, not with the whole length of your arm like you do, look how Floyd Mayweather jumps. This is well-intentioned advice, I'm just waiting for them to write me comments, record yourself jumping, then show us that you can do better, then I'll really have to do it. :D
This has already been disproven, depending on the individual. Everyone isn't built the same and the only thing that's been proven consistent with each individual, is making sure your your upper arms are close to your body. Your lower arms vary with each individual as some are more comfortable extending them while others get better results bringing them down and close to the hip area.
Anyone here who are in bed and watching this??🤣🤣💀
haha same
No, laying in couch
Me now 😂
bro I am eating chips and watching this 🤭
Completly😂😂😂😂

Yay! I’m happy you found this helpful hehe
This is not possible in med schools in Turkey. Forget taking time for yourself.
the editing around the 3:00 mark is really good. Simple but effective how you used three clips in one screen.
Thanks haha 🎥
I can see the progress, well done :D
Thank you!

I can barely even do one proper jump rope before I end up with tangled rope. Haha!
haha no worries it all takes practice. Other great forms of cardio out there too if you can't jump rope
Way to go brother 👏👍

Weird question. What kind of sock length do you usually buy? Digging the look lol. Quarter length or crew?
Hahaha so I buy crew socks and then fold them once over themselves to get in between quarter length and crew. Strange thing I do 😂

I got shin splints so I have to take a day or two off to recover. They can turn into fractures if not careful.

Most likely a Crossrope

How long time did it take approximately to finish the 1000 skips? 10 mins?
Yep! At first a bit longer but as I got faster and built up endurance sometimes even 7-8min
@@DanielKaganov thanks, thats awesome. I do 10 mins a day, still learning a little. But have the rythm down
Morning 1000, evening 1000 since 15/20 days now 61.5kg, let me see,6 min
Any update😊
Was this only skipping or did U work out too
I know Winston-Salem when I see it 😂😂😂
How much jump in one day please
Have you continued or stopped?
How many minutes did u do
15-30min as I got faster
I am a starter. i can do so many. 100 tops per day
How many minutes each set?
My speed increased as I got better so for each 100 reps I could do in 40ish seconds at one point and could finish all 1000 in ~10-15min
💪💪🔥🔥
How much time you did
You lost around 3 kgs?
How did you deal with shin pain??

Counting jumps is so tedious. Why not just jump for a certain amount of time instead. That would leave your mind free to actually enjoy it?
Lol 🤡🤡🤡🤡, any sports watch can count the jumps
Because going by keywords and algorithm "Jumping rope for 30 day challenge" will get you more attention and clicks than "Jumping for 30 min per day."
Hey bro why u dont have any videos in your native Russian language?
Почему по-русски боишся говорить? Это зашквар для тебя что-ли!?😐
