Your excellent video motivated me to try this. I’ve been jumping rope since April of this year 5 days a week. I’m 55 and last Friday I got up to 25 minutes and 19 seconds straight without stopping. Thanks to you.
That is just amazing read. I am really happy i could motivate you to start jumping. But it is your dedication to keep it up for such a long time. My video was maybe just a little push. How is your experience with it so far? Did it make a big difference in your life or you were already living a healthy lifestyle with lots of movement and sports?
@@PushmentaThanks for the kind words. My experience with this workout is amazing. It’s really addicting in a good sense and after I’m done I’m drenched in sweat and feel very great. This has made a big difference so far. For the last 15 years my body was getting more aches and pains which I know is the normal aging process. However since jumping rope I have noticed certain pains have subsided and a couple have disappeared. I’ve been very athletic in high school and college got my black belt when I turned 40 and ran the LA marathon in 2015. I’m no stranger to hard work. My experiment with my body now is to see how long I can keep in excellent shape, hopefully into my late 70,s. We’ll see how my body responds. Also want to be able to keep up with my 11 yo daughter and 7 yo son. Thanks again. I’ll keep you posted on my success. Your jump rope friend, Sean

Glad to hear it and thanks for your feedback! Let us know how your journey went. Actually two of our Pushmenteed just started their own rope skipping challenges this month🤙
Love this man. Great video. Good contrast from couch pro to jump rope pro. Interesting to see how the stretching helped your jump. In the beginning of the video when you started jumping you would jump up and your heels would come together due to inflexibility. Later on in the video you have a much better foot launch and your whole body looks more like a spring.

Last week i had over 1h sessions and it looked like 1min jump - 30s rest - 1 min jump - 1min rest. Never nonstop. Rest time as much as u need to prevent injuries
Great video brother! I attempted to,start my jump rope journey 2 weeks ago and I made the classic mistake of getting too excited and doing too much and Injured myself. It’s taken 2 weeks for me to recover and I’ve learned a valuable lesson. I’m a vitally going to do some calisthenics and practice jumping up and down without the rope till I can do 10 minutes and not feel any pain the next day. This will let me know that my body is used to the impact of jumping and then I will start with the rope and work my way up. As a driver I sit all day and my body is not used to any impact exercise at all so I need to take it slow. Currently 87 kg and I would love to lose 10kg and have this be a regular part of my routine too keep the weight off. Thank you for you video. It is inspiring and well done. 👍🏽
Thank you for your kind words. I am happy it motivated you. Generally jumping rope is not a big impact for the body. What you can do is to wear soft shoes, try to jump lower and better jump 4 times a day 2 minutes each instead of 8 minutes straight. Try to do the warm/up moves i show in the video before and after your training. If you feel pain, you can do them in the middle of a session as well. I wish you the best on your jump rope journey brother!
Great video, i will view again to learn and practice my own skipping. Thoroughly enjoyed watching & i can see the thought and work you put into producing this . 👍☑

In description you mentioned diet did not help in weight loss... but I found your diet routine very good and believe that in conjunction with skipping is a very good combination. In any case, loved your video. ❤ from India 🇮🇳
Thank you. I did have a good diet but it did not help me loose weight. I was consuming healthy only 1 or max 2 meals a day but the amount of food and total calories were still high. I still could keep the weight steady. But it did not help me loose weight. I wasn't trying to go for a heavy diet that's why i was looking for doing more cardio and sports. Rope skipping was on top of this existing diet. After starting jumping, i have recognized the weight loss. Overall it is definitely a combination of both.
Thank you for your kind words. You can definitely do it. It looks tricky and hard to get, try to follow the step order i show in the video. It is an awkward move until you get used to it, bending one knee slightly , letting other leg more straight gives you the required posture. Just keep trying, you will get it in couple sessions easily. Best of luck!
I used to jump rope for an hour straight, and it was huge for getting me back in shape (i don't know how healthy that is to jump on your knees for that long every night, and boy was it boring haha). I definitely need to get back into this.

Hey man, nice video and great result. I also do rope skipping from time to time. Since the weather is miserable here I'm looking for some nice mat so I can do it at home. Where did you get yours from? Cuz it looks quiet heavy duty.
Hello, I decided to do rope jumping for more than 30 days, im female and i weight 55kg with 168cm height, im not really overweight but i have a bit of tummy while the rest of my body is kinda skinnier, i used to train in middle school a lot but after i went high school and uni all physical activity stopped for me so i think this would be a great start. I used to weight 67kg in high school but in quarantine i kinda got depressed and stopped eating where I lost all that weight. Recently I stopped eating sweets and snacks, I only eat fruit to get sugar in my blood. Sometimes I do fasting and eat 1 meal per day, but mostly I eat twice a day, and im really trying not to eat anything at night time. The problem is my sleep scheduale is kinda bad and I fall asleep at most random times at night. I will do rope jumping with some mild exercises for my core and the goal is to go from 55 to 50kg hopefully. And to get some physical activity. I'm gonna do it every day i wake up and before sleep for 30min and write my updates here. Day 1: I felt little to no pain during jumping and exercise, but god i sweated so much, water was dripping down my body. Day 2: I feel a bit of pain in my muscles but it's not that bad, still doing it! I feel a bit more energized. Day 3: the pain is so so bad, i can barely lift my arms lol, my legs hurt too, but as soon as i started doing it again pain stopped. Day 4: I made a break cause I had a doctor appointment and had to rest today, so tomorrow I continue the progress! I lost 1kg already. Day 5: did it twice once when i woke up and before bed, my muscles dont hurt anymore as much as they did and i feel more energized. The thing is my mental health is really bad rn and i thought this would help me reduce stress, but i feel even more stressed after working out and going to bed..
i am on day 5 i am about 30lb over weight and just lack tone and as i have joint issues and cause me to get injured every time i go on a running burst, i needed something less high impact. as i skipped as i child i can already skip consistently so i have started with 1000 skips day one and going up by 100 each day. 1400 today. really hoping this can help me with my weightloss and body toning goals
I think it is one of the safest trainings yet high calory burn. If you feel pain, try to take breaks more often. Try to walk out ~30min a day out in one session to get different type of movement for your body as well. Just keep going and dont give up. Best of luck with your jump rope journey!

I really enjoyed watching, and the intro to the video was creative ! I started jump rope three years ago, and it was the best work out and now my favourite hobby! Keep it up
Awesome! Thanks and you too!
The background music.. the voiceove.., the recording.. the cutting 👌... WOW.. and havent mentioned the content yet... WOW.
Really nice work! Well put together!
I'm impressed! 😳
Well done 👏👏👏
Thank you 💪
Thank you for your kind words.
I love it when a random video has that element of filmography. Great video
Thank you
Your cinematography and editing is fantastic, great humour too! Super transformation!
Thanks so much!
The algorithm found me... Not sure how I'm here but I'm a new subscriber now. The production of this was amazing. I thought it was a jump rope 30 day recap and turned into an existential jump rope fever dream. :D
Wow, thank you for this awesome feedback. It’s comments like this driving us🤙
Big props to you, dude. Great quality video, and it was entertaining, too. I recently started skipping everyday, too, and yeah I mean, I don't know what kind of weight-loss I'll have in the end, but it's something I plan on keeping up for the rest of my life.
Thank you man. Best of luck!
The content, editing, everything is real quality. I cant believe you only have 753 subs. Thats definately going to change brother. keep up the good work
I jump roped for day 1 today and then found this. subbed
Thank you for your kind words. Best of luck with your jump rope journey!
As much as I hate exercising skipping rope is the only activity that I enjoy and always looking forward to.
I am addicted to this exercise and jump 1500 times during the morning.
Right now, I not only admire your physical skills, but your video editing skills.
That intro is sick, and those slow motion explanations are perfect. 😀❤️
Thank you for your kind words❤️
This is the best tutorial for beginners that I have seen. Posture clearly explained, need for warm up. Thanks.
Thank you so much for your feedback!
I hate cardio and jumping rope is the only one that i truly fell in love with! Game changer :) I also add foam roller before and after training session to avoid soreness and muscle shortening (especially the calves
)
This is so inspiring. The details and tips are so helpful. Also love your editing!
Thank you for your kind words.
Thank you for the inspiration mate. I was heavy in the gym prior to covid and then everything shut down. Lost all motivation when things opened back up and now I'm starting to get back into things and going to start jump roping in the morning as a routine before heading back to the gym. 165 right now and hoping to get back to around 143-145 by the end of the year.
Thank you. Already second week felt natural. Its crazy how quickly body adapts to it.
Best jumprope progress video on youtube! I wish I could jump rope. All my spine discs are herniated and have rods in my upper back and waiting for cervical neck surgeon....but if I could this would be a go to video! Great fitness and cardiovascular exercise!
Thank you for your kind words. I hope u will get well really soon and master not only jump rope but many other skills and enjoy your life free of limits. Stay strong💪
This is the best video abt jump rope in the internet..no cap...
Thank you for your kind words.
THIS was the jump rope exercise review I was looking for! Looks like you got some serious results!
thank you. I hope this can help you start your own jump rope journey💪
@@Pushment oh I’m definitely getting started. If it’s ok, one question: did you start with the weighted jump rope or just use a regular jump rope at the beginning?
I keep coming back to this video. I've dropped from 249 lbs to 219 lbs without jump roping, but I've missed it. I want to drop to at least 200 lbs, pretty much 20 lbs, and hopefully by then. I hope to be at that 25% body fat. Thank you for this video.👊
Thank you. With including jump rope you can achieve it quickly.
Great video. Both in terms of content and in filming/editing. Well done :)
Thank you
Looking good. That closing shot of your silhouette on the corrugated door was beautiful work.
Thank you for your kind words
Found this video from Reddit. Very inspiring, sir!

Hey, great to hear and we’ll do our best!
I'm glad I came across this video. I'm planning on incorporating jumping rope in my workout routine, I hope that it will be my gateway to jogging. I don't really need to lose weight, I just want to keep and maintain a strong body. This video is very informative, which will come in handy for when I start doing this exercise. I will start my jumping rope workout journey as soon as I receive it in the mail. Thanks for sharing this video. 😊✌
Go for it and enjoy your journey!
Your video motivated me to start my jump rope journey. Thanks bro U R the best ❤

This was awesome, great video, I've just started jumping rope and picked up so many useful tips and tricks thank you!
Thank you for your kind words. Best of luck with your jump rope journey!
Just started today. Only did a minute though. My goal is to add a minute each week. Thanks for the inspiration :3
I am happy I could motivate you to do it. Adding a minute each week sounds like a good strategy. Best of luck on your Dead hang journey!
Thank you..... I just start my jump rope 3 days.
You're video very encourage for me.
I am happy it motivated you 💪
Jumping rope works . I’ve been jumping rope for about two months now and I’ve seen great results already
Agreed. It works
Nice and in 30 days you have already unlocked a few slick moves. You are really good!
Thank you. Still have a lot to learn. But now it is really fun to play around with different moves and combinations
Great video + tips! And the intro was hilarious!
Thank you
Hi , when you jump , you do 30min non stop , or in sets example : 10x2min and 30sec rest ,
Last week i had over 1h sessions and it looked like 1min jump - 30s rest - 1 min jump - 1min rest. Never nonstop. Rest time as much as u need to prevent injuries
Ohh wow he is coming for me lol😂😂😂 I better learn how to skip rope 😮subbed I needed this ….so inspiring ❤❤❤
Thank you. You better keep on jumping otherwise i will be coming for you:D
Keep it going bro. Updates needed 👍🏻
Planing to do a follow up challange :)
What weight are you at now?
@@theodoremason6344 86 kilos
Great video, i will view again to learn and practice my own skipping. Thoroughly enjoyed watching & i can see the thought and work you put into producing this . 👍☑
Thank you. Best of luck on your jump rope journey!
Love that you included warm ups
Its quite important information especially for jumping everyday
Damn.... 600 subs and this quality? If you keep it up and maybe improve your narration a bit, i can defenitely see you going places
Thank you for your kind words. Consistency and quality as everything in life helps us achieve anything :)
I love it! It's giving me a lot of energy, meditative state & focus just 10 minutes with breaks and abs ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ during my break I'm working home and it is great to balance my day also❤no more back pain❤❤❤❤
That sounds great. Keep it up💪
I find that Crossrope is really the best jumping rope ever! I brought the handles separately and get the 1/4lbs 1/2lbs and 1lbs rope it’s an AMAZING WORKOUT !!
Heard about it. May give it a try.
Best jump rope video I've ever seen
Thank you for your kind words
@@Pushment sounds good 👍 it's a journey and lifestyle. Wish you good health.
Wow! Impressive editing and videography. Enjoyed the mini movie! 😁
Thank you. Mini movie took a lot of work. Great to see people enjoy it :)
I enjoyed (maybe too much) the first two minutes of the video. 😅 Thanks for taking the time to make it.
Haha, thanks and indeed our dear Numan really took some time to make us smile. Thanks for this awesome feedback!
I really appreciate the time and effort that was put into this video. I'm thinking about trying this out! :))
Glad it was helpful and thanks for this awesome feedback!
I love it! Great job and video
Thanks!
You are great bro ,,, i subbed to your channel !
Thank you for the support ❤
Great work. This was very very inspiring to me!
Thank you!
Thanks for a very inspiring video im gonna start doing this everyday now aswell.
Good luck with your jump rope journey💪
great job!!!! you look amazinnnnnnnnnngggggg!!! i can do the crossovers but Im struggling with the boxer step....and I really wanna learn it..
@@Pushment im not gonna surrender!!! I'll update when I got it :))))))) hahhaha
I just started 3 days before. But i can't know how to jump properply. Today i got the answer. Thank you❤️
You are welcome. Keep it going!
I used to jump rope for an hour straight, and it was huge for getting me back in shape (i don't know how healthy that is to jump on your knees for that long every night, and boy was it boring haha). I definitely need to get back into this.
It is not soo boring when you jump and watch a movie :) Do not wait to get back too long ;)
Good inspiration video! How long were you jumping rope per day?
Thank you. See the top pinned comment.
This. Is. A. FILM. Ok? I’m here for the jump rope but I’m staying for the quality! 🤩
Nice, thank you A!

This was fun to watch, thank you ☺️
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great Video. Started my journey 3 days ago. Did you have prior experience jumping rope? As I struggle to do more than a handful of jumps at a time.
Thank you. I didnt have any experience. I was struggling a lot in the begining as well. I could only do 10 skips in one go. But quickly o got better. First week is critical. Do not give up. Even if you can do only a few skips keep on trying over and over. Best of luck on your jump rope journey!
Thank you for the video, it motivates me to keep jumping rope 😁🙏
My pleasure. Best of luck with your jump rope journey!
Thanks for adding warm ups. No one shows it so I don't bother looking it up haha.
My pleasure. I realized no one was putting them and it is really essential if you jump especially every day.
Thank you, I really enjoyed your video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
One of the best video I found it today ❤
Thank you for your kind words
You deserve more than a million subs
Thank you for your kind words
Thanks for the video
How do you mesure the effort. Per day....do you count your jumps by series...series of how many and how many series a day!!
my pleasure. I was counting the session time. I knew that if i had a 30min session i was getting around 15min jump time. E.g. in order to reach min. 30min jump time per day i was having 2 30min sessions
Hey man, nice video and great result. I also do rope skipping from time to time. Since the weather is miserable here I'm looking for some nice mat so I can do it at home. Where did you get yours from? Cuz it looks quiet heavy duty.
Thanks. Here is the product i got:

Great job, your day one was hell better than mine!
No matter how bad ur day 1 looks like, day 15 will look like mine if you do it everyday
Your glass of water! Toss a side. That was great! Great video!
Thanks. The glass supposed to land on a soft surface and remain intact but it shattered into thousand pieces :)
love the editing
Thanks!
Best of luck on your jump rope journey!
@@Pushment Thank you! ❤️
This is inspiring. Thanks you
glad you liked it
Very entertaining video broo !! Loved this 💯💯
Thank you brother!
Doing this almost 1 year. after im done to my workout this is my best cardio excercise. I hate jogging
I agree it is best cardio exercise. 2x more efficient than jogging. But i still like going to a forest or lake for jogging in nature.
@@Pushment how old are you cuz you should of started earlier

i am on day 5 i am about 30lb over weight and just lack tone and as i have joint issues and cause me to get injured every time i go on a running burst, i needed something less high impact. as i skipped as i child i can already skip consistently so i have started with 1000 skips day one and going up by 100 each day. 1400 today. really hoping this can help me with my weightloss and body toning goals
I think it is one of the safest trainings yet high calory burn. If you feel pain, try to take breaks more often. Try to walk out ~30min a day out in one session to get different type of movement for your body as well. Just keep going and dont give up. Best of luck with your jump rope journey!
