Found Pollack over a decade ago from his impressions then I saw A Few Good Men and I have to say he is a damn good actor as well but this video is awe inspiring
He even has the eye thing down.I guess he was so good at it that Peter Faulk cornered him at a grocery store and askedI know why I do it but how the hell do you do it?
It's like a Chinese Whispers youtube train..... started with Jude Law and Natalie Portman on Wireless talking about Caine's wireless then to finding Pollack doing Arkin....
Indian summer is a fantastic movie! its funny, sweet, and touching! it just came out at the wrong time!!!! i met kevin at a show and talked to him and told him ,that was one of my wife s and my favorite movies!! own a dvd copy and watch it every year,,,,,(wish I would have brought it to have him sign it) and still laugh, and still get emoational. its very good!
loved Alan Arkin in "Wait Until Dark",, he made a WONDERFULLY SINISTER bad guy, and Pollack,, was as good as I've seen, in "Deterrence", I recommend both
@@LRS905 I'm sure you haven't been losing sleep over this for the past four years, but I do know how he does the lazy eye trick (he explained it on an episode of Kevin Pollak's Chat Show). One thing you might notice is that his right eye (camera left) is always pointed inward; he doesn't just have one eye looking forward while the other is moving around. So what you do is, you cross your eyes (which means the right eye is pointed to the left, and the left eye is pointed to the right) and then look to the left (which means the right eye is pointed to the left, and the left eye is pointed to the left). You do that back and forth, and it gives the illusion of a lazy eye, because one eye is moving while the other is staying still.
with youtube we know there are guys that can do 50 plus voices spot on...it is all about exposure and opportunity...all these guys have some career under them...if this was pure talent, they are good, but the playing field is much more level--thanks internet
The only problem with Pollak's Walken (and Spacey, must be something about the name Kevin) is he has a tendency to overemphasize his rhythmic stops, but his intonation and inflections are perfect and he says stuff that Chris would actually say. If his impression flowed like Mohr's it'd be perfect.
The point of impressionist is to exaggerate for comedic effect. Therefore overemphasizing the parts of someones speech that makes them memorable is how it is done. The real key is to have funny material to go along with it. Many people do Walken or Nick Cage but without good material it is not funny.
Kevin I forgot how many of your impressions are just spot on! And no one does a better Captain Kirk than you! NO ONE! Do you do an Admiral Kirk as well?!
the best walken impression ive ever heard no one even comes close to this guy
Titus Welliver does it better and I think this guy does walken impressions with him. But Pollak got the mannerisms down.
Best is the guy from The Wedge...Pollack is good but you hear too much of his own voice.
He adds a lot of comedic value to it. So hes exaggerating too much for it to be a straight authentic voice.
3rd Gunman Oh that is crap. So was the show.
Look up GameSocietyPimps.
his kirk is perfect because its not exaggerated, pollack underacts it and thats what makes it so acurate.
Rest in peace Mr Alan Arkin.
Dude kills every impression,he's one of the best 🤘
How does he get his eyes to do that for Falk?? Tremendous.
This guy was born making a Phil Collins impression.
Found Pollack over a decade ago from his impressions then I saw A Few Good Men and I have to say he is a damn good actor as well but this video is awe inspiring
People nowadays may not appreciate the impressions of the older celebrities, but I sure do.
"Frankenstein never scared me, marsupials do,cuz theyre fast!" ahahah
An underappreciated talent.
I love his Columbo impression
Wow. Never have i seen a such an authentic impersonation.
the alan arkin story never gets old
I wish he told the Letterman part
You know what? That's not that funny. . .
That Arkin impression is so much better once I remembered/realized he wasn't doing Alan Alda
I did the same exact thing lol
It's amazing how many movies Kevin has been in. And his William Shatner impression, amazing!
Thanks for the video I had no idea how talented Kevin Pollak was
best christopher walken impression there is! That's craazy!
Nnnope...
@@aimfuldrifter Yep.
Craig Glass
Jay Mohr
His Peter Falk is perfect, everything he does is spot on
He must have made his left eye so sore perfecting that! Crazy 👀
He even has the eye thing down.I guess he was so good at it that Peter Faulk cornered him at a grocery store and askedI know why I do it but how the hell do you do it?
Falk apparently loved Pollak's impersonation.
I'm going to agree here. When he says "Having said that, my young costume friends" he sounds pretty close to how Walken sounds.
Segments with impressionist/comedians as good as Kevin Pollack are always too short!
As a huge Columbo fan, man, that Peter Falk is out of this world.
Old yet still good in 2020....🤗🤗
When it was worth staying up late.
Exactly!!! Current late-night "comedy" is dead to me.
Kevin is hilarious. Walken is from another galaxy
Seen him do this set tonight! It was funny as hell!
"He looks like a Danny to me." Classic!
He does the best Jack Nicholson I've ever seen.
So good that Reiner had him do Nicholson off-camera as a voice stand-in for the courtroom scene when Nicholson ran late one day...
Trick, treat, quite the conundrum
"And they dart! Thats crazy!
LMAO!
It's like a Chinese Whispers youtube train..... started with Jude Law and Natalie Portman on Wireless talking about Caine's wireless then to finding Pollack doing Arkin....
Omfg that's exactly how I got here
Same
Hey Chris, is everything ok? STRANDED!
lol!! i laughed so hard!
damn! how does he move one eye like that during the Peter Faulk impression!
This was a great Walken even by Kevin Pollack standards
Indian summer is a fantastic movie! its funny, sweet, and touching! it just came out at the wrong time!!!! i met kevin at a show and talked to him and told him ,that was one of my wife s and my favorite movies!! own a dvd copy and watch it every year,,,,,(wish I would have brought it to have him sign it) and still laugh, and still get emoational. its very good!
Kevin Pollak = comic genius.
I agree!
loved Alan Arkin in "Wait Until Dark",, he made a WONDERFULLY SINISTER bad guy, and Pollack,, was as good as I've seen, in "Deterrence", I recommend both
"Seems like a 'Danny' to me." was funnier than all the impressions. 😅 Great line.
He sounds more like Walken than Walken does
I've always liked Kevin, very funny man.
Epic! Made my day!
Best impressions ever.
"Thank you both for seeing it." 🤣🤣
I could watch his 'Christopher Walken' all day long...hillarious!
Best Christopher impression ever!
Christopher Walken was Priceless!!!
Kevin is awesome!
"...and they dart!!! that's crazy!" :-D
He is the best
"There's this lion..." or, "Two mice fell into a vat of cream..."
31 people quoted Alan Arkin: "You know what? That's not funny."
Guy is one of the best comedians ever
How the hell does he do that Peter Falk lazy eye thing? It hurts just to see it lol...
Peter Falk didn't have a lazy eye. He had a prosthetic eye.
I was not aware of that. Thank you.
@@LRS905 I'm sure you haven't been losing sleep over this for the past four years, but I do know how he does the lazy eye trick (he explained it on an episode of Kevin Pollak's Chat Show). Lmaoo I just did exactly what you said and recorded myself on my phone, and it was perfect. Lol
He's a brilliant comedian.
"Which one of you little kids can guess what I've buried under my house?" LMAO
Crying here I'm laughing so much.
That is AMAZING!
with youtube we know there are guys that can do 50 plus voices spot on...it is all about exposure and opportunity...all these guys have some career under them...if this was pure talent, they are good, but the playing field is much more level--thanks internet
I love Kevin pollock!!!!
One of theee best Walken impressions ever, :D.
Hahaha! When he called Dave, Danny! You know Letterman's egotistical ass loved that, lol!
Beautiful ring Kevin!!! hummmm
Great impression
Thanks, my gf and I liked seeing that film, Kevin.
Hilarious. Walken I heard is a good sport with the impressions. 🌻👌🤗
He’s a genius!!! On my top 5 of comedians list!!
Omg he's frikin awesome , it's amazing lol
GENIUS !!!!
complete legend
👌🏻perfecto
Him and Kevin Spacey are at the top of the game. All impressionists need to study them. They set the bar yrs ago and still today.
Excellent.
Brilliant !
This is the first time I've seen an impression of Alan Arkin, it's great
Kevin Pollak is truly a throwback to old Hollywood. Talent in so many ways AND should be on TV more than the less talented tarts we see today.
yeah, I saw that yesterday. Never had so much laughter in years.
LMFAO I love the Peter falk impersonation
Great bit.
perfect
the Frankenstein bit started on one of the times he was on bob and tom radio show. even had tshirts made up with that bit on it. still funny
please bring back impressionist week
echolot And Dave.
echolot please bring back Letterman!
Brilliant!.
Lmao. I still remember that. Epic movie.
Only 65,+++ views - not enough. This is good stuff!
how crazy was that thing he did with his eyes, hes great
My favorite movie is Deterrence. You must see it. Great role Pollack
STRANDED!!!
Someone comes close, and in my opinion does an even better job. I love Kevin, but Titus Welliver's impression of CW is the more real.
Welliver's is better technically, but Kevin nails the essence. And wins for me.
Everything you need to know about how to do an impression: "FRAYkenstein nevah skehd me."
Moishe maisel is also a standup what a treat
"Spock! He got a raygun!"
I died at that XD
"trick.. treat... quite conundrum!" hahahaha
Bravo.
trick, treat
QUITE THE CONUNDRUM!!!!
The best!!
His Christopher Walken impression is outrageous..
Nah...Better ones out there.

The Lost Room was very underrated
But its great.
They don't make talent like that , this kind of talent ur born with it !
Kevin I forgot how many of your impressions are just spot on! And no one does a better Captain Kirk than you! NO ONE!
Do you do an Admiral Kirk as well?!
"wow! your car is alive!...chase me!"
