First Hollywood actor i know, who openly admitted to having bad anxiety.
And you know what?
I like him even more now!
chris evans
I think Finn Wolfhard has anxiety...
Bill Skaragård has really bad anxiety
True I was more interested into finding out more about him and his anxiety I love him now lol
Chloe Bennet
I love how Stephen Colbert can't even begin his James Mason impression before Bill Hader just starts laughing hysterically and corpsing.
I love that they're bonding over an obscure (at least to many of us) impression
And they both did a very good James Mason. Hader did a somewhat older version of James, but both were spot on.
it makes it even funnier seeing bill's reaction
@@debbiedoodiedandi It's from the movie the 1960s something film Lolita...I suggest you Wikipedia it because I can't describe the film nor the book without gagging.
@@mediocremaiden8883 I looked it up... the plot is gross!
bill has the cutest laugh and i’ve never heard anyone’s like it 🥺🥺🥺
He does 🥺🥺 I’d do anything just to hear him laugh
yes! he always laughs and smiles so big, i find it heartwarming.
Idk but his laugh reminds me of Lisa Kudrow’s
It takes care of his anxiety, plus he's easily amused anyway, so that's good : )
YES!!! He's laugh cracks me up!
The title should be "interview with the most lovable guy there is" because that's what I'm left with
AustrianCitizen yes!! I honestly had pretty much stopped watching SNL by the time he got hot on the show so it took until he came into movies and tv and appearing in these interviews for me to appreciate how awesome he is. I completely missed out!!
AustrianCitizen I agree but why do I feel like Steve C. was jerking him around on the spot?
I’m left with a cruuuush

Can we just agree that bill hader is like the most relatable and down to earth actor/comedian ever
I know. I love how open he is about his anxiety.
We can absolutely agree!
No.
Maybe becaue he didn't have acting lessons.
I joked awhile back that Bill Hader got Tom Hanks infected with the coronavirus on purpose as all part of Hader's plan to usurp Hank's long standing crown of "A-list super talented actor that is also oh my god is he really that nice?" status lol
Honestly, “It’s a hitman, but get this... he’s in an acting class” could be an actual John Mulaney line
Vlada Kaplunova I read it in Mulaney’s voice haha makes sense
Picturing John Mulaney as a hitman will be in my head for days now. Thanks for the laugh!
@@mr.wilson9341 I picture Mulaney as a hitman who says "IM SORRRRRYYYY" after each kill.
@@JayNic85 street smarts
they are close friends, so
The hottest new HBO show is Barry. It has everything.
The Fonz, but old.
Janet from the Good Place, but human.
The guy from SNL who always laughs.
No, not Jimmy Fallon.
And Dan Cortese! Yes yes yes yes yes! 😂
CJ Greiwe yup - the writing is great! Hank and Cusomano actors are perfect 😂
Brilliant
Plus Milton Wadams, but evil
Eugh, leave it to Mulaney to write them please
They should get him on the graham Norton show
YES!!!
That needs to happen on so many levels!!
I was hoping he'd get a chance to go with James McAvoy to promote IT 2. But alas...
Yess!!!! Yess!! Yes!!!
And on Joe Rogan... well pre Spotify Joe Rogan
I love that successful actors also get stage fright. Makes me feel better
Grow up stop taking the blue pills.

You ever see the behind the scenes videos of SNL?? Some of the most stressful television to be a part of
@@mahmood8267 what's up my brother ?
That laugh from Bill is so genuine. He's a wacky and very talented person. Gotta love the guy.
"...and I'd like your biggest bottle of Yoo-H...I'm sorry?..."
I DIED.
legit the best line from the bit.
The best part!
What is a Yoo-H?
@@1crackaddict He was going to say a Yoo-Hoo but cut off because of the gift certificate
I have to admit a dozen donuts with a large bottle of YooHoo sounds amazing. Good quality depression meal.
He’s perhaps one of the most vocally gifted actors in Hollywood. He’s exceptional.
"Bill Hader's best celebrity impressions", does ONE impression.
He did 2 actually.
@@BrokenGodEnt okay technically you right. But still feeling cheated by the title.
And 14k people STILL hit the thumbs up
@@rhymeocerous It was a great clip but the title was bordering on clickbait.
@@hashbrownsforhamster I'd say bordering is being kind. Maybe some staffer or network drone just got it a bit wrong & hopefully it's not a sign of things to come.
The joy on Bill's face when he is listening to Stephen's impression is a big mood.
I have extremely bad anxiety, so I act funny to hide my anxiety, when I can’t hide my anxiety, I hide myself inside my house.
Gabriel Rangel why is this so fucking relatable.
And sometimes when you’re with other people and can’t think of anything funny to say you just become completely quiet.
Kapish Joshi or make a weird noise. Maybe that’s just me tho
KindaNervousLol oops I make a funny face instead, but yeah I agree
Shannon W LOL FR I always start fidgeting cuz I also have bad ADHD I'll be like walking around and dieing
So now that Bill Hader is in IT; Chapter 2 he's gonna have an improv laugh-off with Pennywise.
If he doesn't crack a fee jokes at him in the movie I'm gonna be disappointed
600th like
I see Bill Hader, I click.
He is such a phenomenal talent. And I always feel bad for him, when he speaks about his anxiety on SNL.
Also, I think it's the greatest compliment you can get from Lorne Michaels, when he says you can stay on his show as long as you want.
Helen Stasevich wow that’s high praise 😳
His impressions are not just about the voices, but the situations that the subjects are in. It’s not just a line from a movie, it’s a fully realized comic scene.
Bill Hader is one of the most sincere people I've ever seen. He has such a positive and warm vibes, absolutely love that!
Interestingly, I find the same to be true about Colbert. He always seems very genuine and decent.
wanna set bill hader's laugh as my alarm tone. best way to wake up in the morning 😂
I'm going to set it right now because I have to wake up at 5am. Thanks.
no!
@@sithlorddread8721 no what?
Why don't you marry him?
@@Apocalypse-mr5eh Because he won't glance at your direction now with the divorce still fresh and his 3 daughters all needing different things from him.
Bill Hader is sooo underrated! That was an amazing impression at the end.
'Underrated'? How is Bill Hader underrated when he's the lead and producer of a top-rated HBO show and a Best Actor in a Comedy Emmy because of it?
Mia7189 he’s been the ‘darling’, feel good story of TV comedy for almost two years running now ...lol so underrated 😜
The shocker is 52 ppl agreed. Apparently they live under a rock
I remember Bill from 'Men in Black'. I wouldn't watch his other movies, because I'm not really into Dork Comedy. But If he were to show his acting range, I'd probably pay closer attention to him.
@@MimiKeel it's geek chic.
@@Mia7189 he needs to be on more chat shows I guess.

His laugh is so contagious & I love it when he broke character on SNL. So good
I'm not American, so the first time I saw Bill was at the beginning of Pineapple Express, where he's smoking the blunt in the Army research bunker... 😂😂😂😂

Such an infectious giggle I came in from the other room to watch 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😂😂😂👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I want Bill Hader and Ricky Gervais to have a giggle standoff :)
Angela Greenkiwi He’s the latest guest on Conan O’Brian’s podcast. It is an hour of giggles. Such a tonic.

I really like that Bill talks about his anxiety cause you wouldn’t know looking at him in SNL or any interview, that’s kinda cool to know I feel like
Lamia Lola In his earlier SNL skits (mostly Stefon), you can see him shaking and he would put his hands in front of his face
Hader's childlike glee at Colbert's Mason impression is just heartwarming. And his own James Mason is quite uncanny.
Bill Hader is a treasure. Love this guy's humility and humanness as much as his enormous talent.
Stefon Meyers has come a long way from his days promoting clubs in NYC.
New York's hottest interview is this one! This interview has everything....

Political Skeptic yesss, he plays one of the kids in IT as an adult..,I think the kid on stranger things
He's the absolute perfect actor to play Richie Tozier! Rickie from IT is like a fictitious Bill Hader.

I hope they turn it into a comedy, like the Evil Dead 3.
Omg bill is hilarious on SNL but his actual personality is probably 10x more funny
He knows what the life of an assassin would be because he watches true crime.

By that logic, John Mulaney is an ACTUAL hit man. Tom Segura, too.
Both of them do a great James Mason impersonation! "Oh, I see ... " LMAO!
Bill has such a natural joyous laugh. Awesome human!

The last minute of the first season of Barry is the single greatest moment of tragicomedy I believe I have ever experienced.
Ah . . .the incomparably elegant James Mason at a Dunkin Donuts counter. That's an image that will stay with me forever. Thanks.
I like how Colbert admits he didn't give a shit to catch Season 1. I'd be pretty pissed at that point if I were Hader.
I love his laugh, its so adorable, and contagious!!!!
I am so happy that is incredibly talented man is receiving the exposure and admiration he deserves.
Bill Hader is an underrated genius slowly climbing the MacArthur charts.
I love his laugh. I can miss the joke and hear him laugh and I start laughing.
I have been head over heels in unrequited love with Bill and his laugh for far too long. Barry is exceptional, it just works - wonderfully written, acted, and produced. He deserves all good things in life, so pleased that he's doing what he adores.
*He's so underrated*
Nailed mason. I used to do mason as a kid. People knew who he was then. :)
Man, I just feel for the younger set today that think most of the schmucks out there now are "stars". James Mason, now THAT was a true actor. Nothing like that era. 😉
When your feeling down and blue just watch Bill Hader interview videos, cheers ya right up! He’s amazing!
never seen bill hader before but he has a great laugh, what a goofy groovy guy!
he is sooo fucking epic and soooo good ... really impressive... thats what i love about him and people who haven't taken any classes for acting but they sooo good and better than most educated ones
That's called real talent. And work, hard work to overcome yourself
He always talks about how with acting, for him, it’s more about the behavior and observing behaviors rather than putting on a “performance” and how that makes a portrayal so much more authentic and genuine, and I totally agree with that. You can totally tell the difference between actors that are putting on a performance and those that just slip into a character in an authentic way. The former chew up the scenery and make me aware I’m watching a show or movie and the latter is a character I can believe is a real person that I know.
He’ll be writing himself (a guy writing a show about a hit man taking acting class) into season 3.
I don't think I've ever seen James Mason in anything before, but I still keep re-watching this impression. It's so good even if he was just doing a character he invented himself.
Watch 'Lolita' 1962
Stephen's impression of James Mason was SPOT ON 👌😱🤣
I became deaf as a young child but Bill Hader's laugh restored my hearing

Such a naturally talented individual, all his work is amazing without a doubt.
He’s just amazing and I love how he constantly laughs. Also Stephen’s impression was excellent 😭
Normally I kinda hate it when people laugh at their own jokes, but for some reason when Bill Hader does it it's absolutely adorable.
This was the best interview ever. I just love them both even more.
"NOO WAY?! You got out!!" I'm dyyying
Bill is the guy you would just kick back and drink with at a bar... and that's *fantastic*

Impossible not to love this man! (Tip-toeing to an Oscar maybe?)
He was snubbed a nom for Skeleton Twins. Him and Kristen Wiig.
Oh well. One day he'll win best director ;)
Hader's impressions are so great, but I really love the overbite and the giggle! And it made me empathetically nervous when he was talking about his stage fright.

I don't know who James Mason is, but now I want to know if he ever got those donuts.

Oh wow - I'm so sorry to hear Bill Hader developed stagefright as a consequence of anxiety. Man - I can totally relate as I suffer from acute anxiety at times. This can devastate your life if you don't learn to manage it.
So familiar with that, couldn't even read in front of a class, not to mention stage productions... A few years in customer service helped. Well, i might have lost a bit of hope in humanity, but at least i don't have problems just to come and start conversation with anyone 😁 nothing helps with general stress, one week was so bad, i effing vomited a few times from nerves (being financially responsible for the shop is no fun...), but at least i am good with everyday interactions with humans.
