I’m definitely not an expert, but it sounds like your left front brake is actually the only one working properly. The other 3 may have clogged lines, causing a majority of the brake pressure to funnel to the one brake.
@@goonwop592 Suspension is moving under braking, causing the car to turn. Wasting your time chasing the brakes. My car did the same thing, except it would pull to the right an lock up that tire. Got to love drum brakes and worn out suspension. lol
Holman Moody racing switched from disc's to drums to save weight, reduce rolling resistance and increase braking power. Also, the front end rebuild is worth it's weight in Gold. You won't regret it.
I have a 99 civic that has the 1.6 sohc motor, I put a speedy snap muffler on. 2.5 eBay header 2.5 pipe all the way until you hit the 3 inch speedy snap muffler that used about 5 adapters to pit on the the 2.5 pipe. It side exits in front of the passenger front tire. It’s very quite at idle but god damn when you rev it up past 1500! I recommend speedy mufflers all day every day. Thanks Tom you gorgeous man!
Something about finding all the simple stuff wrong with a car that you just got is so satisfying and relieving like your control arm bolts I bought a 2015 mustang GT and found that the engine mount bolt was almost completely backed out this was after I've gone 160mph so after going through and tightening it and checking everything else gives you so much more confidence

If you see this Tom, I had a 66 falcon than no matter how much work I did to the brakes or suspension it pulled hard to the left when I hit the breaks, until one day I just decided to replace the shoes ( which had plenty of material on them) and it completely fixed the pulling issue. The only thing I can figure is maybe one side or the other had been oil soaked for years or something
Just shows modern cars are much more reliable, that charger is not as loud but at 200k miles still driving is amazing. I have a 08 300 with 220k miles and still drives amazing.
Opentracker’s makes a killer suspension setup for first gens. I have their stage 1 kit with 5 leaf reverse eye rear leaf springs and a Shelby drop in the front on my 66 coupe. The car handles incredibly now, and the rockers are about 4” off the ground.
I'm dangerously tempted to put a full Speedy's exhaust system on my V6 minivan. Either run a stock-looking system with a single exit or get creative and run separate-side "true dual" exhaust.
My gramps has a 65' fastback with a 289 and a 4spd, 8-ball gives me the same energy as his car just a looooooot more sketchy 😂😂😂 great vid as always Tom!

Hey Tom, I’ve seen you at Carlisle in PA this Saturday and wished I could’ve get to say hi, we went all over the show and couldn’t find you, hope you had fun and the Chevy sounded great, keep it up!
Another thing to note my first car was a 68 GTO with drum brakes. I had the same phenomenon with the brakes pulling hard on one side. Turns out the brake shoes were from two different manufacturers and the pads were slightly different material and size like 3/16" different the metal backing was identical the pads(shoe) were different. Pull both sides apart and check them. I took one side off and walked around and compared them.
NGL I not a muscle car guy but I think 8ball has a lot of potential to be a really good looking and driving car step by step take your time and make it work bro love the vid
I swear that was my first car, the one I LEARNED to drive in😂. Same single pot non functional drum brakes that lock one wheel while the rest spin free. The same ejection doors and lack of seatbelts that would get my friends every time. I added my side exhaust with a hack saw and auto zone slip on 90s, no mufflers for me though😊
As much as i love mustangs, I knew the second I saw 8ball it would be a problem. I hate chargers but it was a newer and overall better car, I wish you kept it and waited longer for a better trade. I hope you can still trade up with this car, I wanna see the challenge continue!!

This whole vid reminds me of when I bought a 69 Volvo 144 when I was 18. While on a date it broke down on the side of the road and went to open the hood and my hood hinge snapped; I had to bend the hood to open it. But still had to flat tow it home in the dark

My 91 Dodge D150 braked like that. The driver side upper control arm was broken and any time I braked pretty hard it pulled that way. 😂

That front right hose is probably the culprit for it pulling to the left. Not enough pressure getting to that side and it’s all going to the left
