Hi Everyone! We’re going to stop with the funny editing after all the feedback. There are still a couple more videos that have this editing style and then they will go back to usual. Thanks for letting us try out something new and for the feedback!
They don’t need the cut from person to person. Just pull back and show them both and whoever is talking it doesn’t matter. It was a lot of bouncing around
Love these "complete" reaction videos where you don't skip the makeup part!! Please keep it up ❤ Also I would like to once again ask that you do a video detailing your experience with tretinoin Susan 😂
The unseen sunscreen was the first sunscreen my dad used consistently! Since then he’s found dupes he likes (right now the Trader Joe’s version) but so grateful he now wears sunscreen every day!!
Personally I've found that even when I would apply a lot of aloe gel I could still feel tiny zips. So I recently started using a regular ultrasound conductive gel and that doesn't happen anymore, so I prefer to use actual conductive gel. It apparently also improves the conductivity (I hope that is the right word) of the device.
1:10 Steamers also make it easier to breathe if anyone needs sinus help or has a cough, etc. It's always easier to breathe when you're sitting in a tub than in a dry environment.
Instead of trashing steaming, and saying what it doesn’t do, it would be nice to say why we steam our clients skin during facials, and what steaming does do. Lol We use steam to soften sebum in the skin so it prepares the skin for enzymes, exfoliation, and extractions. It also feels incredible; what to know: steam too close to your face is bad, steam should be 12-18 inches away. Second, steam can be too much for sensitive conditions such as rosacea-we will tend to use cold steam on those clients. Steaming isn’t bad for you, just think about these couple tips. As far as the NuFace, yeah, the owner is making sure people are using her device correctly. That being said. I don’t blame her for lying about not being able to use a different conductor; I’m sure there is big legality problems there. But you guys are totally right, you don’t need her gel, you can use other conducting mediums.
I agree, it would be good for Susan to clarify why it's not good to steam at home (in each video it's discussed). The purpose of steaming is really to soften the hardened sebum/blackheads in preparation for extraction.. and yes, it is also relaxing for many clients. What people don't realize is that steaming is not hydrating (which many think), but it's in fact it's opposite.. it can be dehydrating to the skin. So, if one is doing it too often and/or for too long, this could be problematic for the skin. Most people who are steaming at home, are also more than likely using devices that steam too closely to the face and this is not wise, as you've noted. So, overall, not advisable for at-home practice. One can simply apply dampened, warm towels to the face as a better alternative to induce relaxation, if that is desired. Or one could apply a similar dampened, warm towel (in a smaller version) directly to blocked pores/blackheads repeatedly, prior to application of a clay mask in that specific area/t-zone 2-3 times per week (if skin type permits).
I don't know.. I think the edits are entertaining.. They just need to be a little more subtle and less frequent. Like zoom in a little less, so it's not so close up, and don't take EVERY opportunity to do it. Just 2-3 times in a video
I enjoy both of your content so much but it’s really become hard to watch with this editing style. You’re both interesting and energetic - you do not need crazy cuts and closeups to keep us hooked!
Yes, I've seen derms talk about it, they even use in-office microcurrent treatments on clients whose botox did not turn out good to get rid of its effects faster.
Hi Susan!! I heard you mention that you have Melasma. I, too, have melasma (on my upper lip) and can't seem to get rid of it or even cover it up hardly at all with makeup. I wear sunscreen. And I started using retinol and a discoloration serum from Paula's Choice but had to stop using both because I think its was damaging my skin barrier because my face would turn extremely red and burn when I used them. I think it's healed now, though. It's been about a month or two since I've used any actives. My melasma is one of my biggest insecurities, and I am so self-conscious about it 🥺 If you have any tips at all, it would be so greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!!
From a physics perspective, you only need something with water for the micronutrients devices, because water is a conductor. So basically any gel or product with slip would work. Corporations just want to sell more of their own products.
yes but you can see she rubbed it in with her fingers and yet only used her middle fingers too way too lightly tap it in. So most of the products was left on her fingers than her face! 😊
Evan Healy- another one of those organic brands I can never use again because I used it while pregnant and now the smell reminds me of morning sickness🤢 😩
I love Niki and found this through her. I enjoy this type of video, but the ones I've watched have become frustrating when there is so much talking on top of each other and interrupting. Sorry!
I really really dislike the editing it's really childish why the change? 🤔 It makes me don't want to see the videos, and I think that your videos are interesting but keep the old editing.

You two give golden retriever and black cat energy haha
So accurate
I like it when Dusan and Nikki do videos together. And I've always thought Riley was beautiful. She reminds me of her mother. ❤

Thank You so much I love learning from you both watching someone else
Her bangs covering half of her forehead throughout her entire routine drove me nuts !

You probably made this video at the same time you made the other video with Nikki.. but *please DO NOT KEEP EDITING LIKE THIS* It’s so distracting!
The close ups of close ups of close ups gave me whiplash 😩
Totally hear you! And yes, this was edited before we decided to take it back.
Agreed, it’s super distracting 🙁

@@Mixedmakeup I didn't even notice a difference 😂😅 love when your videos
Thanks ladies loved the video. Agree with the other comments that the editing is distracting though.
I love you two together!!
I love your duo ❤

When u have blond lashes mascara is a huge change feel her
Just seeing that steam made my melasma flame up! Lol
And my hair grow 10 sizes! 😂
Ultrasound gel (clear and fragrance free for me) is also a decent conductor for the NuFace
If you use a micro current device does it reduce the effectiveness or length of Botox since it does stimulate the muscle?
Yes, I've seen derms talk about it, they even use in-office microcurrent treatments on clients whose botox did not turn out good to get rid of its effects faster.
Yessss

7:30 Dermatologists say you only need a rice grain's worth of product per eye for eye cream.

My eye cream is my spoiling moment in my skincare routine
I had to stop watching this video 😵💫😵💫it hurt my eyes 🙈
I am glad she used SPF, it seems that she didn't put any other product, but at least her hands are really well taken care 😂
The Dreamteam strikes again! Love to hear both of y'alls opinions and comments! ❤
The editing in this video is pretty distracting
True . I don't like the editing style.
It's been a minute since I watched a MM video and the editing style is different. Not sure if it's good or bad.
They just started this.. and I think it’s bad
Love your vids but please stop with the constant jump cuts!! I’m getting dizzy watching this video
Firstttt ❤❤❤
Men aren't the only ones that like matte sunscreens.
Please no more hyper step zoom ins. Everything else rocks!
I love Niki and found this through her. I enjoy this type of video, but the ones I've watched have become frustrating when there is so much talking on top of each other and interrupting. Sorry!
I love your videos but is someone new editing them? This feels really choppy. It’s a little bit distracting.
Do they delete comments?
2 non experts commenting 😅
Editing is horrific
Hard to watch with this editing 😕

We’re going back, but this was already edited this way.
