I own one of these. Great vehicle. The only thing I don't like is the MPG (16 city with mine lifted and bigger tires) and wind noise on the highway.

I have the 2010 twin to this, which I've really enjoyed driving the past four years. One question I've always wanted to ask a Jeep dealer... WHY do they have such a aversion to ordering in Jeeps (or any vehicle, for that matter) with the saddle or tan interior?? Gray and charcoal seem to have been flavor-of-the-week for the past two decades.

thanks, yea im getting a jeep in a couple months, trying to decide what the best option would be either manual or automatic. im a college kid, and i gotta commute a lot.
Yikes!!!! Don't get a Jeep if your gonna be working pt and commuting a lot. Mine gets 400-ish K in town and about 550 K highway. If I go home on the weekend which is about 450 K one way I could easily go through $220 worth of gas in one week!
I could easily burn a quarter tank in 50 K if its stop and go through traffic or punching it.
I reckon my Jeep 2005 feels more rugged than this, its pretty much a rav 4 almost lol. No voltmeter, no oil gauge, electric windows. I'l stick with the old jeeps

automatic=worthless... also save your money on the towing package. you can buy the hitch and wiring harness off amazon for $50 and install it in about 30 min.
Jason Heward Automatic = arguably better off road, everyone I wheel with says this as well, and they have manuals. And tow package = comes with 3.73 gears so yeah, get the tow package from the dealer. Its not just wires and a hitch that give you the tow package, its the gear ratio giving you more torque at the wheels.
Automatic= better on rocks. tow package= better gearing

Brian Haight 2 doors look much, MUCH better imo and if i were to get a jeep i wouldn’t worry about fitting people in the back
