Hi, how are you? I read on your reply back to another parson that this mask would be good against harsh chemical. Would this mask be good to use against toluene, acetone and other dangerous fumes? And if so, what bayonet cartridge would I be need to attach so I can be protected from inhaling these fumes? And sorry for the very late question. Thank you!
It depends on what you're doing. These masks are supposed to prevent you breathing in something that is otherwise harmful to your lungs. Your diaphragm is going to be doing more work to overcome the resistance the filters present so don't fall asleep with it so maybe exiting the area with the contaminates and taking a break every 30 minutes or so. My personal experience is after a week of work while I was using it I found my body adapting to it and honestly my diaphragm felt a lot stronger. I suggest reading 3Ms supplement information on their masks. It's seems like a lot of info, but honestly the information is so valuable.
I honestly couldn't tell ya, they are great for dust, but you can still smell things with them. you might want to get the bigger filters that block out vapour as well.
I have never used flexi printing, but if your worried about vapours i would go with a vapour cartredge by 3m, the p100 by itself is only good for dust and not any kind of harmful gas or smells.
I am looking to do epoxy work, cutting tropical hardwoods, and some strong adhesives/sprays (shore adhesive, toluene, etc.) Would it be wiser to go with this full-face mask instead of the 3M 7500 series for the work I will be doing?

P95, P99, P100 filters are best as far as I've found. In the UK, P2, and P3. Those should filter out any oils (SARS-CoV-2 has an oil based body that holds it together)
@@Lyndonp15 n95 filters out 95% of particulate. p100 filters out 99.9%; the "p" just means it's oil resistant, whereas the "n" isn't oil resistant. This probably won't be important in the hospital unless you're working with oily substances. The p100 is fine and definitely better than n95.

@Fact Checker that's only part of the story. Even N95s are designed to protect the wearer and not necessarily others from emission.
