- If you have a beard and can't find a mask that works for you, this is the product you've been searching for!
I don't often promote products, but the JSP Powercap Active is a true game changer for anyone who's tired of fighting through the fog and taking risks with their safety in the shop.
I look forward to honestly answering any of your questions and will be posting a more in-depth review in the coming months, once I've been able to put some mileage on this thing. So if there's anything you'd like me to touch on in that review, let me know in the comments or reach out to me on instagram: / stonewallwoodcraft
If you enjoyed this video and feel like I've earned it, I'd really appreciate your subscription. There are some great new videos on the way soon!
Thanks for watching,

I purchased the JSP Powercap Active here:

After 30 yrs in plastics moulding and now welding 3 full days a week, a powered respirator is the only way to go no matter the manufacturer 👍👍👍
Our club uses this model all the time. We have been using this for over 5 years. Great product.
Thanks for the video. As a beard-blessed guy, I feel your pain. I will definitely check this mask out!
Thanks for watching! It's a bit of an investment but such a game-changer for me.
Thanks for the link to buy this it was 549.00 free shipping. I've been trying to buy one of these for a month or so from several videos. Axminster sells them over the pond And JSP only sells to distributors. To me their making a mistake not selling these online but oh well . Yes there expensive but a good motorcycle helmet is 400.00 -900,00 so i guess it depends what is important. hopefully the motor fan noise isn't too bad but i use noise canceling earbuds. Again thanks n happy woodworking.
Would be interesting to compare against a more budget PAPR device that could be within the means of a homegamer
Ever so often I get a great recommendation from the YT algorithm. This is one of those times! Such a great respirator! Would it be good for fumes? Like spray paints, sealants and Resin?
Thanks for the very kind words! I have yet to test it's filtration ability with anything other than sawdust, but I'll make sure that's in the upcoming full review.
From the website of the retailer who I purchased it from:
Will The Powercap Active Protect Against Vapors?
No, the Powercap Active is not suitable for these applications, as it is a particulate respirator only.
I’ve been looking for something suitable for concrete grinding. Do you know if this would work?
Would this work against metal dust? I'm specifically thinking about knife grinding. Thanks!
When will the update be ???
How's the mask been so far? Did you get it shipped to Canada or did you pop over the border? Thanks for the video🍻
It's been great so far. I've been using it quite a bit lately and I'm very happy with it. If I had to say something negative, it's quite tight on my head and I wear a size 8 ball cap.
I got it shipped to Canada because I'm about 5hrs from the border.
Thanks for watching! I'll be posting an actual review once I've used it a while longer
How'd it go
It looks like it’s not available in the US.😢
Do you feel like you bonk your head on the filters
Can you wear your glasses under the mask?
How much does it cost?
Thoughts after 8 months?
wondering the same!
@@Nettle314 almost bought one last month.
Safe for epoxy?
No, this unit is only for dusts. It does not protect against vapors of any kind. Peke and 3M make more expensive versions that provide protection against both.
Sounds a bit loud
Great, now my brain will vibrate also I'll be deaf and also ill be breathing water vapour. Nice.
