SJ11 Track Build Guide #5 - Curbs & Cobblestones

Part of our track runs through an old medieval city, much of it featuring cobblestone surfaces. While there are some labor-intensive methods of achieving this look on the track itself, I'm using something simpler for the street curbing and walkways. I'll show you how I do this with computer graphics and weatherstripping. We'll also take a look at a new addition to the garage, highlight some European UA-camrs and see how you can enjoy worldwide content using UA-cam's Auto-Translate feature.

Awesome work! I use a free program called Gimp to do my photo editing, making signs, backgrounds and such. Thanks for sharing, it's always good to get new methods and ideas from others!

Awesome video mate.. Germany is most definitely hot for slot racing but Austria was surprisingly thin on tracks.

I never thought to print my scenery. I've been using cut out styrofoam for a makeshift rock/mountain look until I have the time to use spray foam. Will definitely be printing some mountains now. Expect a few discord messages 😂. Thanks for doing this. The scenery looks amazing, I Really thought the coblestone was hand made.

I've always done a lot of print graphics work, so it helps that I have an inkjet printer that can do an 11" x 17" sheet. Lots of cheap or free graphics programs can handle the set up work. I'll check the Discord.
