How I tune my cars

- Today I'm going over what I use to tune my cars and attempt to show you, the innocent public, how I go about doin it. After that, I give the new Porsches a spin around the track!
Update: The sand paper I use to polish the axles is high finishing grit. 1000-2000 with a dab of water as you rub the shaft.

Great video Joe I do that too my but I never thought about sanding the axles I'll have to try that for a little more speed 😀
Glad you got something out of it. My suggestion is to use a high grain sandpaper, 200+( finishing sp) I made the mistake of using hard grit and it took forever to get it smooth again. Let me know how it goes :)

independent front axel is the correct way. Nail polish or super glue on the fronts is good if you don't have the knowledge or tools to do it right, I use the Blue Tack to hold the motor still as well! Subbed nice video!
Thanks so much. I enjoy your channel as well. If you have the knowledge to make better zero grip front tires I'd love to learn. I found a tac from Loctite that might do a better job than the basic brand but maybe when I run out of my current stock. Thanks for the Sub!!

you oiled the plastic end of the motor i have watch some videos that say never oil that end as it destroys the plastic as i am new to this have you ever had the oil damage that end of the motor or are people being over cautious or is there science behind this claim.I oiled everything except that end and was wondering how to lubricate that end. bought my carrera stuff 3 weeks ago so any help is much appreciated. Sherm. subbed.
Welcome to the hobby and thanks for the sub!! I use very little oil on either end of the motor. Being careful to apply it to the metal shaft/pin and not on the plastic. I've never heard of oil degrading plastic before. I can only say that if the metal part was rubbing on the plastic then maybe. Unless you have an oil that is "not safe for plastic" I wouldn't worry too much about it. It would take quite a bit of oil and time to ruin that. Hope this helps. Where can i buy this rc car?
Its not an RC. It runs on a track. However, most hobby shops will carry rc cars and with some searching, I'm sure you can find a nice Porsche livery.

The fastest way to tune a Carrera car is to buy a Slotit car.
