In Canada, the acronym CFI stands for Chief Flight Instructor. Also here in Canada, proficiency in spins is required for all licenses including the Private Pilot’s Licence. In the one 172 and 152, the airplane is so inherently stable that even if you become disoriented, just release the controls and the airplane will stop or recover from the autorotation, your job will then be to recover from the ensuing dive. I for one love spinning as well as aerobatics. Next time, try some aerobatic manoeuvres, who knows, maybe you will be the next Patty Wagstaff.

OK, what I said before isn't quite right... this plane was an Extra NG, which is the most expensive/highest performance version of all the new "Extra 330" series but it doesn't actually say 330. They have have the 9.5liter 580c.i. producing 315hp... but the NG version is the one that is all carbon fiber... the others have carbon fiber wings and tail but steel frame. And Jess was closer on the price... at least the price when new was $450k... not sure what it is today five years later (came out in 2020).
