- Good morning everyone and welcome back to my channel! We have a bit of a different video today, and also a different experience for me! I think my new favorite thing to do is to fly a plane that is new for me. This was such an incredible experience considering how rare it is to fly these planes nowadays.

I am very thankful for Florida Air Cargo for allowing me on this flight, as well as the captain and first officer for teaching me some new skills! This was a great flight and great crew. Can’t wait for another fun flying experience like this!

First question...where on earth do you get parts for a plane that old since I am sure there are parts that wear out. Second...those engines look like they are held together with bubblegum and duck tape...lol. So glad you got to experience flying in one of the old classics. It's wild to think that these planes actually flew passengers back in the day. Third...I noticed an LCD screen in the cockpit so I guess it's had quite a few "updates" lol

How old plane are before they decide to retire it ?
No idea!
Since i see a pair of what appears to be sunglasses in your hair on top of your head I'm curious what restrictions there are in becoming a pilot. I'm a retired optician and as such I am very aware that when getting a driver's license you need to be able to see at least 20/40 or better in order to pass the vision test and get your license. Is that also a restriction with getting a pilot's license as well? In looking back through your video's I didn't see any with you wearing glasses. So I assume you don't wear glasses. Something you may not be aware of is that at one time if girl wore glasses she was rejected from even trying out to be a stewardess, now known as flight attendants. In those early days only girls were hired as stewardesses. This was before the days of contact lenses so that wasn't an option for girl with less than perfect eyesight. I believe this was maybe just before the 70's.
There are limitations when it comes to eyesight but you are allowed to wear glasses and contacts. I’m not sure until when they would take your medical away.
