@@Jon-dh3ki the single most useful thing I’ve taken is his idea of “fill, empty, and use” as it pertains to your mind. Just that easily digestible bit has become the framework by which I organize my days. I’ve become infinitely more productive because I’m never wondering how to a schedule my day. I’m consciously doing one of those three things all day.

1/ Set big, irrational goals for different aspects of life (mind, body, spirit, business).
2/ Create projects with milestones, variables, principles, and skills to achieve these goals.
3/ Start building projects and learn along the way rather than just consuming information.
4/ Focus on habit formation and design a lifestyle that supports your goals, emphasizing daily actions in mind, body, and business.

Hi Dan, I just wanted to say - firstly, I haven't come across any videos on youtube like yours in which I feel I get so much authentically valuable information. So hat's off to you, thank you for the content, it's honestly changing my life. Secondly, it's just so enriching and rewarding to listen to someone who has so many of the same experiences that I have had achieve such success and progress. It's honestly wonderful to witness. Writing is such a beautiful skill and I love that you know that. I also questioned things from a very young age, and got punished for it a lot of the time, and yet it hasn't changed me, I've always gone in my own direction. But even so, sometimes it's hard to know how to channel oneself, and that's where your videos and content are just of immense value. I am an aspiring renaissance woman, and I deeply appreciate and admire your commitment to that aspect. Finally, as a little extra, your voice is lovely to listen to! Calming as well, and I like how you express things - "I hope you're writing this down". That made me chuckle. Hope you keep going and congratulations on everything you have achieved. It's great :)
P.S. I forgot to emphasize this - but honestly going against the flow is no easy thing, it's a remarkable personality trait and even more so is how you've made success out of it!

Always thought my natural instinct to be curious and educate myself on different topics was bad . Everyone always says , “niche down” “just focus on one thing” , i agree you need to focus on one thing to make progress. But you should never neglect the natural instinct of curiosity
This reinforced my belief to stay curious and pursue interests in different areas of life

its actually insane how dense you talk. like efficient. idk how ot explain it but each sentence is short concice and effective and filled with as much info needed and formulated in the most impactful and understandable way possible. like usually people will make complicated sentences to explain a concept but you somehow manage to condense it to a short clear sentence thats immediately understandable and it stays in our minds more.

This is one of the most remarkable things on his videos along with focusing on his advice actually making sense instead of claiming to be "in a high level" or "better than other people" like many people on this field of content creation do. He is not only developing and strenghtening his content, but I find him as an actual mentor. I really appreciate this channel because of how clear he projects his ideas and drives me towards taking the necessary action without trying to make viewers feel guilty because of not having started this journey at a certain age. I am absolutely delighted and I will be pleased to follow along with this mentor's approaches, propositions and projects🙏

I similarly just found Dan 2 weeks ago. He’s made a significant impact on my life - whilst very importantly he’s helping me to transform the way i approach my business (pending, just bought 2 hour writer and gonna get on this sprint)
More importantly he’s helping me to organise my thinking. As someone who has very high mind momentum & have experienced significant low moods (labelled as depression anxiety etc), he’s allowed me to shift my perspective of these thoughts/feelings/experiences.
Of course, the timing for finding Dan has definitely been “right”, as i’ve done and do a shit load of work on myself continually (body, mind, spirit).
But, that does not mean i am not still immensely grateful for finding him, as I think along with the above, Dan has allowed me to feel connected, excited about my life and like i can actually create something that’s awesome.
    Thank you

This video is awesome friends, just keep in mind trying to master too many unrelated pursuits can lead to exhaustion and lack of progress.
My suggestion would be to look for intersections and crossover between our diverse curiosities. Seeking out the connecting threads between our varied passions allows us to integrate them into a more focused identity. This is what makes us autotelic - AKA aligned with our purpose.
You could leverage your love of science, art and writing to become a science communicator who makes complex topics engaging through visuals and storytelling. Or you could be a psychologist who is also a philosopher bringing deeper dimension to understanding the human psyche. Dan does this with his business + philosophy + spirituality.
The sweet spot is having breadth and depth - a wide base of general knowledge combined with deep expertise in a few key areas where we provide unique value. This makes us multidimensional yet coherent.
Diversity of interests gives us flexibility and resilience. But integrating those varied pursuits into a purposeful calling allows us to maximize impact. Awesome video as always Dan!!

    • @Evelyn55515
      @Evelyn55515 Рік тому +5

That being said, sometimes you won’t know why the knowledge comes in handy until years later! My learning to do nails 💅 in school taught me to work with resin acrylics and plastics, it wasn’t until years later I started making art and realized I could make large form projects similarly to how I had learned in aesthetics school. I also have a huge interest in science and psychology, yet a bit interest in tarot and spirituality. The more I learn about each topic the more I see them intertwined , but that was never a goal I set out. I don’t make money from the spirituality science thing as much yet, but that’s not everything, and I do have more tarot clients who will come to me because I can explain things in such a way. Doing nails in aesthetics was good money and learning but bored me, then it went into painting, then it combined and I was able to make custom resin countertops with colourful and glittery themes and that was a good job for a bit. Now I’m branching into other interests, mostly raving, body building, jewellery making. Now the jewellery making and raving have come together, and I make custom body jewelry for rave girls. Body buildings come in handy because I look good and can model my pieces online and in person(I’ve made sales this way.) I never knew any of this would come together or had set intention to do these specific things with this knowledge, but it does come together. It’s about following what lights me up and then seeing where I can add value with my specific skill set.
I agree with what you’re saying, my point is that sometimes the soul understands you’ll need knowledge in a way the rational brain will not understand until later. if someone is feeling called to do something and they don’t know how it will work out later, sometimes it’s best to just start and see how it ties in later.

The thing I hate about today is that everyone is so focused on money and building wealth. I make good money and was never so hyper focused on wealth. There are many experiences I’ve had that have shown me that it hardly has any meaning or depth. Work on the things no one can take from you. Build on skills, hobbies, and passions. Go after your interests with curiosity and obsession. Money and opportunity will come but that shouldn’t be the focus.

10:24 It occurs to me the reason why schools don’t prioritize curiosity and cultivate people who hate learning is so you don’t question the path you are pushed towards. They want you to learn just enough so you can follow the conventional route but then stop there. Why? Because the conventional path is the way companies and governments make the most money for themselves.

Thank you for sharing your work. This is really important for anyone to hear. Hopefully, I can use this and implement more of what you've taught in my daily life although I'm well aware most people just succumb to being fat and lazy.

Physically i became way better now. Mentally, i still need some practice.
But what's even better is that at a young age (26) (right now), i became a better young man, and aware of one thing i didn't knew: wasting my life over some mid things on the internet, whether it is youtube or gaming, i made a lot of errors by thinking more about those ones than about my IRL life.
Still for my success, i don't know if i'm really lucky or if by some kind of fate, i became a little more open to people and less of a lone wolf style of life.
But anyways, what matters is that i changed for the best, but still needs to practice on some little things that i lack.

Beautiful. Hey, some other ideas that can support the the main argument:
    - Ideas are a renewable resource
    - The digital world does not have the same limitations as the physical. The pie, here can be expanded, can be multiplied and not only that but it can be made better.
PS: Heard this in Spotify and came here just for the pic 😂
Has anyone bumped into the woman version of him? 😅 He's handsome but I am into women ... So just asking... 🙈

Life is a journey... if we leave the fear behind, we can walk the earth with curiosity, peace, and love for each other. Put in the effort to better yourself, and God/the Infinite Intelligence will come in your help. Challenges are going to be there, just learn to breathe in the mist of it.
May God's blessings be with us all. 🧡
