Yeah man, this video might have actually saved my entire year.
I felt really bad I missed a day of the daily habits that would lead me to achieving my goals for this year already, and this triggers all sorts of negative emotions or wanting to put me in the ruts that prevented me from achieving all my goals last year.
The mind is a scary thing, if you let your emotions guide you unchecked without observing them & not deciding things purely from what the brain comes up with it can lead you to even worse places to be mentally, negative thoughts overflooded my mind & for the next day I missed half of all the good habits instead of just one, I panicked thinking oh no my current self is never gonna become my ideal self, I'm doomed I might as well give up.
Now I'm optimistic, cheerful, and can get back on track without doubt or fear, I know all the new things I do will eventually become routine in a few months and it will get easier.

Man! Do you want Dan's level of wisdom?
    1. Take a piece of paper
    2. Write a letter to yourself explaining your current struggles and goals
    3. Put it into nice envelope
    4. Date it for 2025
    5. Wait one year
    6. Open the letter
    7. Be surprised how everything changed
    8. Repeat
Writing letters to yourself is a great tool for self-reflection leading to wisdom

that does not work at all... that works if you are still in the illusion that life must have purposes, and d that you are in control and that there are right and wrong things for your persona to do and not do.... if you are a kid, yes, then this works... when you have been through life when you have been through a real crisis, which you have not, then you will see that there are not solutions, there are no truths of what actions, routines nad field of work that suits any person, is all an illusion.
he starts off well, he is on the right track in analysing how people are today... but the solution is not to just start your lief over in another field of work...
an emotional sense, that something feels right will last a short while when you have been through and done most kinds of things in life...
is not as easy as it is for kids, people under 35 that is...
they are kids who see themselves as amazing and jump on to anything... if you want to go deeper.. that is not the way, a goal means nothing, an e, in that you are a singer, or a business guy, or a doctor.. is all fake...
no one is any of those things... and there is nothing that needs to be finished.. how can there be anything that needs to be finished? you are going to die no matter if you finish things or not, so it will never ever matter if you finish anything, because the day you die, there will still be things that are not finished, and nothing makes more sense to life, flow state is in the moment today when you sense it, and it can happen in any subject you do.
so there is no subject that relates to you, subjects are made by marketing, by business people wanting to maximise profit and recruitment but they hold no truths, no relation to your actual person... your emotional state is always shifting, how shall you ever know what are YOU?
don't be his fanboy.. be your own best fan!

    1. Your mind = supercomputer. A lot of people occupy their RAM with thoughts ab past mistakes, future events, distractions etc. Your attention should be on your vision for your life, the plan that would bring you there and the education you consume for that vision.
    2. How to win the game? Too much info = anxiety, too little info = boredom so live between the two by learning and than applying.
    3. A plan for a meaningful life = New info, create something with the info, practice, teach it to others
    4. Create a new game = You need to know how to win, what to do to get there and what are the updates your character needs to succeed.

One thing he misses about people who run to secure jobs is that in order to self actualize you have to have a minimum level of safety and security in order to calm your nervous system. The system is broken and it’s not the peoples fault. We have people with billions of dollars literally burning it while others starve on the street.

This is an important miss and itts the foundation of everything. What if you have a pattern, maybe inherited, where in every situation in your life from your earliest memory where highly narcissstic, malignant, psychopathic people have power over you and what you do. What condition do you think someone who hasa had this will be in by their 20s. From the paedophile who abused you as a child, from the boy who abudcted you when you were 4 and tried to murder you by smashing glass into your neck. The highly dysfunctional family. The complete lack of love. No positive parenting. the arrival of a psychopathic stepparrent. Yearrs of gaslighting, abuse, triangulation. At 14 i had at least 4 of these types of people with control over my life. Of course i had passions, i found joy . Childhood is a remarkably rresilient time. Then you hit 20s, it catches up wiht you , you develop mental illness career plans are thwarted. Im not writing this as a cry for pity. But it is very difficult to follow this plan when you are ( or your mind has convinced you) you are completely broken. Just food for thought. Its all learrning!

If your body doesn't feel good, study what you're putting into it.
If your mind doesn't feel good, study what you're putting into it.
    What goes in
    is what comes out.
    Swap rituals.
    Change your intake.
    It really is that simple.
I wrote down how many major obstacles I've overcome in my past to remind me of the fortitude and capacity of my resolution and will and that I can overcome whatever I face today and in the future.

The reason why you felt down is because we feel happiest when we are striving towards our goals not when we attain them. We need time to rest and reflect and to allow another passion to move into our sphere. Not having that new passion can cause depression especially in passionate people who lose themselves in the “now” of the artistic “flow”. If we look at the non productive period or “depressed” period of time as a period we are resting in our cocoon awaiting the right time to shed our skin and become a butterfly and fly off into our next period of passion and start our meaningful small steps towards our new goals our depression automatically lifts as we now have meaning again in our lives. That’s why setting goals big or small are good for us and our sense of meaning here on earth. Happy person = mean full life= taking action even in small steps towards an end goal and not the goal itself.

You just broke it down by pushing people to find joy in their present moment. Celebrate the process. You must create success internally to be rewarded with success externally! As always, great shit Dan!

Great video Mr.Koe! Noticed the cycles/seasons over the last few years in my own life. It’s like we can sprint, thrive, manifest and win effortlessly for a period then there’s a cool down or losing season where 💩 just happens. Made over $100k in four months during the winning season in 2023. Aiming for $250k in 2024. No matter which season you may be in just know victory or defeat is right around the corner. Prepare accordingly.

right timing man, these cycles are so weird and I used to confuse them (or still confuse) with mental health issues like depression, adhd, whatever.
First began noticing them when I started on Twitter. Made that ''One Person Business'' idea my obsession (discovered you and your masterclass there afterwards), had a blast following that road, noticed myself slipping and tried to stop it from happening, ended up signing up for college which put a nail in the coffin.
Well after that I found another obsession, this time fixing my environment because through that Twitter road I figured that's what's in my way. Did that and now I feel myself losing the grip on that ''purpose''. Anyway, crazy to think this was 1 year, I miss those times and the people I've met there.
want to start again, but im kinda very tired, just a little break..

Don't stress yourself with a routine, plan, work week, etc.
Just listen to your body and follow your mind, knowing that routines and plans can be broken and adjusted in a way you deem fit.
When you feel in the waters that the current is against you, would you paddle against it, or navigate through its flow?
Don't be ashamed to break or change the routine/plan once in a while when you sense you should. It's not ill discipline, it's to be in flow, it's agency, autonomy.
Move like water, and let its current guide, cleanse and polish you.

It's normal to feel a down phase after accomplishing a huge goal. Before reaching the goal, everything we do has a common destination and direction. After we finish whatever project, this direction is lost and there's no destination to go to so it seems pointless.
One thing we can do to avoid that is to remember that we don't do our daily routines of good habits for a goal, but because they are a necessity to be done. Even the goals we have, like writing a book, getting more money etc are not truly "our" goals. It's necessary to do these things and that's why we do them. Not for any other reason. Then we perhaps avoid falling into these holes after finishing a project. Read the first sentence again tho.

Face your fears. Try new and different things. Get out of your comfort zone. Take on challenges. That's the only way to build self-knowledge, self-trust, and confidence. Otherwise, there's a risk that you'll spend your whole life on auto-pilot, never reaching your full, amazing potential, and living a life that you didn't really choose. That's the battle we all must fight as adults - if we want to live freely, consciously, meaningfully and authentically

Been in a hole for about 4-5 years. Ran out of people to cover it with.
Running out of ideas to counter it. I tried music. I tried programming. Tried to build out my home training routine and got a tennis elbow 🤣
I still think I can make it work - but I need to feel better. I need people for that, but the walls have become very impressive.

hi dan read your full book . It is really a mind opener which is more than a eye opener for me. I come from a southern state of India and I make book summaries. i feel the knowledge you have shared in your book must be shared to my people out here and next week I will make a detailed podcast of your book . Been reading it second time, please make your hard copy available in India as I am not seeing it here and Kindle version is too costly . I bought it but many cannot afford there . Your Book changed my Life and I want it to change many others too on how to find their Lifes purpose before it Entopies
